"So, has he called you yet?" Courtney asks taking a bite of her apple. We're sitting at our table outside in the senior garden at lunchtime.
"He texted me saying that he's got nothing to apologize for, if that's what you mean," I scoff talking about the message Chase sent me on Saturday morning prompting me to ignore it because he's an idiot.
"You know I never liked him," Olivia voices, pointing a finger in my direction. "He's a choad." I almost spit my drink out.
"Do you know what that means Olivia?" Quinn asks puzzled.
"Yes, I do, just because I don't get the highest grades at this table doesn't mean I'm not educated!" She argues back. I put my hands up in surrender.
"No one said you weren't educated Liv, we just weren't expecting that," Courtney states logically.
"So, are there any plans for this weekend?" Quinn changes the subject.
"I was thinking Girls' Night Out, with a movie, dinner, and maybe the arcade?" I suggest looking at the girls.
"Yes, I'm down. I can finally kick your ass at that Terminator game," Olivia smirks evilly at me and I just laugh. I am the champion at that game.
"Oh, it's on," I smirk at her.
Courtney playfully rolls her eyes, "You two are like children."
"And that is why you're the mom of the group Courts," Olivia chuckles throwing a piece of her popcorn at her.
"I am just mature," Courtney turns away sticking her nose in the air making all of us laugh.
"Well now that we've established that Court is the group mom, we need to do something about Soph," I say looking at each of them. "I can't deal with her depressed state anymore. It's been like this for almost a month, it's not fair that she gets all the blame and becomes a pariah to my brother but Cole is still his best friend."
"I thought they hashed all that out at the start of school? He's still being petty about it?" Quinn asks disgruntled.
"You want me to take out Cole? I know some people, make it look like an accident," Olivia shrugs like it's no big deal.
"Jesus, no Liv, what the hell? Who do you know?" I ask curiously.
"I've already said too much, carry on," she folds her arms and leans on the table.
"I was thinking setting her up with someone else, help her get over Cole," I look around the area for any potential date options.
"Not going to lie, your idea sounds a lot less fun than Liv's," Courtney grabs my attention, gesturing to Olivia.
"We are not killing Cole!" I state, surprised that this conversation is even happening.
"I'm not saying we have to kill him, I'm just saying it's an option," Olivia leans back with a smirk on her face.
"But wouldn't that make any guy we choose a rebound?" Quinn asks ignoring Olivia's comment.
"Why do they always have to be called rebounds? A rebound is usually intentional, and we all know Sophie would never consider someone a rebound. What if she ends up liking him? It's not a rebound it's just one date," I reason with them.
"What about James Carson? He's sweet and cute," Courtney suggests.
"Didn't she get into this situation because it was with Sebastian's friend? James is on the baseball team with him," Quinn shoots down that idea.
"I don't trust a James. People should stop calling their babies James, name him Jame, he is one Jame!" Olivia protests loudly. Okay then. We all stare at her quietly for a few seconds before I shake my head and carry on the previous conversation.
"What about Aidan Cross? He's cute, and he's not friends with Sebastian," Quinn suggests. I laugh sarcastically.
"Yeah, because that would go so well with Sebastian, he hates Aidan Cross," I tell her taking a bite of my sandwich.
"Precisely," Quinn smirks, "Sebastian is already pissed at Sophie, he can't get more pissed because she did exactly what he told her to do. Which was to stay away from all of Sebastian's friends, therefore Aidan would be the perfect candidate."
"Quinn, there is a reason we all agree that you're the smart one here," Olivia laughs. "I know Aidan, he's not a bad kid, he just wants people to think that he is."
"Perfect, Olivia set it up; Courtney will deal with date details and I'll get Sophie to agree. Liv texts me once he agrees so I can talk to Sophie."
"Done. Maybe we should make it for this weekend? Turn our Girls' Night Out into Stalk your little sister on a date night out?" Courtney asks with a little smile on her face. We all nod our heads in agreement.
"And no one tell anyone about what we're planning, if Sebastian gets even a whiff on what we're doing he will get himself involved like that," I snap my fingers making eye contact with each of them, Olivia a little longer, making sure to get my point across.
"Do I still get to beat Char's ass at the shooting game in the arcade?" Olivia asks causing all of us to groan loudly throwing our food packets at her. "It was just a question assholes!"
*****************
The last bell rang a few minutes ago, and the school is almost empty because of the students rushing to get home to start their weekend. Since it is Friday, I do not have any track practice today so I had to find Sebastian and Sophie to see if they wanted me to stay until they were done with their activities. They both individually decided to get rides with one of their friends, which worked out well in my favor.
I run into the bathroom with the obvious intent that I need to relieve myself when I see Olivia standing in front of the mirror with tears running down her face. I freeze completely. Olivia is never one to express her sadness to anyone but herself.
"Liv?" I ask timidly ask slowly inching forward, trying not to spook her. She breathes out a sigh and turns her face to me.
"He doesn't like me," she states smiling sadly, sniffling. "He never did." Oh Liv. I close the distance and hug her side pulling her to me.
"Why didn't you tell me how upset you were?" I ask pushing her hair out of her face slightly.
"You were the one that told me not to sleep with him in the first place," Olivia shrugs, "I didn't want to hear the 'I told you so' from anyone so I just brushed it off," she sniffles again.
"You know I would never do that, and he doesn't deserve your tears," I wipe away the tears that start falling, "You are worth so much more than you give yourself credit for. You're a fucking catch Liv. Zach is an immature guy who thinks he can treat girls however he wants, he basks in the thought of you crying over him because that just makes his ego bigger and makes him think that he did you a favor for even giving you a sliver of attention. The guy that falls for you will grovel at your feet to prove how much you are worth every day of his life."
"Well then he needs to hurry the fuck up and find me," she laughs slightly wiping her face with the back of her hands. There she is. "I hate crying," she groans looking in the mirror. Don't we all.
"Just think of the positives, your eyes get bright after a good cry session," I shrug looking at her now bright green eyes.
"At least there's one positive," she mumbles. I hand her a paper towel, she wets it and starts dabbing under her making sure that there is no make-up smudged there. "Oh, by the way, I heard that Aidan asked Sophie out yesterday, has she said anything to you?"
"Yeah I told her about the whole chat we had the other day at lunch and she agreed with me. She said that it would be worth a shot, bonus that he's good-looking and Sebastian can't have a piss fit," I smile, taking the paper towel from her hands and wiping the lines that she had missed. She locks eyes with me and gives me an air kiss. "Want to come back to mine? We can eat junk food and watch movies."
"Yes, God please," She links her arm with mine and we walk out of the restroom, "Why is it always the standard for us to eat junk food and watch movies?"
"How else are we supposed to drown our sorrows?" I ask laughing with her.

Surprise update! I know I said that there would be a schedule for updates but I just get too excited to post.
Now we get to see a little bit more of Olivia's thoughts and feelings, but this is only the beginning!
Enjoy!
