The Beggining

I was hiding under one of my favorite desks, watching the boards fall, and the Ink drip, when I heard the doors open. They hadn't opened in years, so I jumped and bumped my head. The human looked over, but only noticed the cardboard cutout. I sighed, and drew a heart on the wall with my tail. The girl talked to herself and messed with a bunch of drawings, and tried to open some doors. She came to one door, though, that almost made me run up to her and tell her to go home. The Ink Machine. She was following all the directions. " Little brat! She's not supposed to mess with that stuff! " I stood up, and ran to where I thought Bendy was. " Bendy? Hello, there's this chick messing with the machine! " I whispered. He jumped out from his corner and winced when he saw me. " Sorry, I just, " he sighed and ran past me. Tears welled in my eyes, I had forgotten how much Bendy despised looking at me. At least I have one friend... I walked to another room and knocked on the door. I heard a thump behind me and looked around, only to see that Bendy had caught that girl from falling, and was staring at her. Hopps came out of her room, just in time to see it too. " Who the? " She whispered as they began to talk. He dropped her, and disappeared into the floor. I ran over and quickly turned the projector on, and got away so she wouldn't see me. She started talking again, and I snuck over back to Hopps. " Who the hell does she think she is? " She whispered. " I dunno, but Bendy has an eye out for her... " I winced, hating how my own dark voice sounded. I was a failure, a joke, a mess up in the making...

But I was much more as well.

I gasped as I felt the Ink Machine turned on. I didn't hear it, didn't see it, but I felt it. With every painful breath, I made my way to the machine room. I went in, and used some of the ceiling boards to close it off. The Machine overpowered me even more when I was up close, I had to sit down. It's as if the machine were feeding off of me, or slowing down my gears. I looked out the cracks and saw the girl staring at me, scared. I stared back, unable to move my head. I crawled over to the lever and struggled to pull it down.

The pain floated away slowly, like erasing a colored pencil. When I could stand up again, I saw Hoops standing at the doorway. " You in there, Socks? " She asked. I stood up clumsily, and attempted to break the boards down. " Y'know, how about you do it... " I handed her the crowbar through one of the cracks. She broke it down, and I thought, anyone or anything could attack me right now, and I couldn't fight back.

" You ok? " She asked as she saw me limping. " I got issues... " I was resisting the urge to break and tell her everything. " Ok, well, do you need help? " She asked. " No... "

I limped over to room A12, where I usually go when I want to be alone. There was a small storage closet that nobody went into anymore, so I carved a hole in it. It led to the basement, where I have another closet that I go into. I sat down on a pile of papers, and sighed. " Why can't I just be normal... "

I heard another thump from upstairs and crawled back up to room A12. When I walked out, Bendy was talking to the girl again.
Hopps walked up right beside me. As they were talking, I zoned out. When I came back to reality, all I heard was Bendy saying         " You're pretty. I hope we meet again. " and he disappeared.

I looked over at Hopps, who was red with fury. Literally. She snapped the plate of cookies she had in half, staring at the girl. I said nothing, not going to stop her if she wanted to kill the girl. Before I left, I wrote a message on the walls for Bendy. " Dreams come true. " To remind him.

He called her pretty.
