The Evillustrator Returns
Nathanael sat down in his chair and didn't pay attention to class the whole day. Instead, he was drawing Ladybug masks on all the pictures of Marinette he had, trying to comprehend the information he had received. That angelic face was the Savior of Paris. That inky haired girl was the one saving everybody. The same person who had saved him from an akuma. The same person who betrayed him. On his birthday. The person who was supposed to treat everybody the same. But she didn't. She rejected me. She made me think that she liked me. Anger and hate began to boil inside of Nathanael. The school bell rang, signaling the end of the day, and Nathanael practically ran out of the classroom. He didn't know where he was going. Just somewhere where he could be alone. Because that is what he was.
Alone.

"Ah yes, the troubled artist. I remember you." A deep voice echoed, absorbing the negative emotions coming his way. "I've been waiting for your emotions to become negative again. You have such a sensitive heart. And you were one of my best akumas."
Hawkmoth held out his hand and a pure butterfly landed in his palm. Closing his other hand on top of the butterfly, he transformed it into a creature of darkness, awaiting its next victim to control. Hawkmoth lifted his hand and gave the akuma an extra lift before it fluttered away to find its prey.
"Fly away, my evil akuma, and evilize him."

"Adrien look at all the art here! Isn't it beautiful?" Marinette breathed as the couple walked through the Louvre.
"Yeah, but of all the pieces of art here, your the most beautiful of all." Adrien replied, planting a kiss on her cheek. He gave her a cheesy grin, to which Marinette turned and glared at him. Adrien began to panic when he saw her face, but was then relieved when he felt a pair of soft lips meet his. Adrien's cheeks became dusted with light pink as Marinette pulled away.
"Look at that painting over there!" She exclaimed, walking away as if nothing happened. Adrien smirked and put his hands in his pockets. M'lady is so cute. He thought as he walked over to join her. Adrien placed an arm over her shoulder and the two walked from painting to painting, admiring all the work.
After about an hour or so, Adrien and Marinette walked out of the museum to wander around Paris in peace.
(Y'all already know what's gonna happen next😂)
The duo made their way to the Eiffel Tower, to admire the beauty around it and enjoy each other's company. Marinette snuggled her head into Adrien's arm as they strolled down the sidewalk. People would stop and stare at the famous Adrien Agreste and his girlfriend, maybe snap a few photos, and move on with their day.
"MARINETTE DUPAIN-CHENG!" A voice boomed from the top of the tower. Adrien felt Marinette tense up as he held her closer, scanning the tower for where the voice came from. He spotted flaming red hair and striped suit at the top of the sculpture, watching the streets like a hawk for Marinette.
"Is that? It can't be- we already defeated him!" Adrien said in disbelief. Marinette turned her gaze to where Adrien was looking and gasped.
"That's Nathanael! He's been akumatized! Again!" Marinette cried out. Adrien dragged Marinette with him as he ran as fast as he could away from the tower. He found a tall building to hide behind and pulled Marinette behind it. Both were panting and out of breath.
"What ... do you... think ... happened ... to him?" Marinette wheezed as she tried to catch her breath.
"I don't know, but I have a feeling like I'm involved." Adrien replied, peeking his head out from behind the building to see where the Evillustrator went. Marinette went to poke her head out from behind the building as well, but Adrien held an arm out to stop her.
"I can't risk him seeing you and taking you away from me." Adrien said firmly.
"I've dealt with him once before, I can handle myself." Marinette replied with a huff. "Besides, I'm Ladybug, I've handled much more powerful akumas. Some on my own."
"I know you've dealt with him before. But that was before I knew how much I cared about you." Adrien said, voice tender, as he looked into Marinette's eyes. She pecked his lips before walking out from behind the building.
"I'll just go see what he wants. I'm sure if I talk things out he'll calm down." Marinette said, turning her back and heading towards the Eiffel Tower again. Adrien didn't try to stop her. He that she was stubborn and that she almost always got her way. Almost.
"Plagg, claws out!"
Marinette cautiously walked toward the tower, pondering why Nathanael could have been akumatized again. I guess maybe he was jealous of Adrien... Marinette thought, tilting her head to see the top of the tower. As soon as she did, she felt her eyes lock with Nathanael's even though he was high above her.
Suddenly, the Evillustrator doodled something on his pad and jumped from the tower. He landed gently with the jet pack he created before it disappeared.
"Nathanael this isn't you-" Marinette began before being silenced by Nathanael.
He kissed her. Hard.
Marinette struggled against his grip on her as she pulled her head away from the kiss.
"I'm not that weak, oblivious, coward. I'm a much better person now." Nathanael said in a darker voice than his normal tone.
"Nathanael, please let go of me." Marinette said, trying to stay calm as she attempted to wriggle her wrist from the Evillustrator's tight grasp.
"LET HER GO AND BACK AWAY FROM MY PRINCESS!" Chat yelled as he swung his baton at the villain. Nathanael released her wrist quickly, only to bring his pen outs and quickly sketch an object to block the oncoming attack: a sword.
"Not so fast Chat Noir, or should I say, Adrien Agreste." The Evillustrator smirked as Chat stopped mid swing.
Nathanael erased his sword and quickly took the opportunity to draw a box around Marinette. She gasped as the glass suddenly appeared before her.
"Now if you want to save your 'princess', you'll need to hand over your miraculous or Marinette stays in the box." Nathanael spat the word 'princess' as he told Chat his demand. Chat glanced back and forth between Marinette, his ring, and the villain.
"Tick, tock. Tick, tock. We don't have all day. And neither does Marinette. She's going to run out of air at some point." Nathanael said, looking over at the now horrified Marinette.
"You would never do that to her! You love her too much!" Chat yelled, eyes becoming wet at the tougher of loosing his princess.
"Oh, but do I really? She ripped my heart out. She threw it on the dirt and dug it into the ground with her heel. Marinette never cared about me. I can't believe that I liked her. I thought that if u shoes her my affection it would change her mind. But I was wrong. " Nathanael said, anger growing more each passing minute.
"She never loved you because she was in love with somebody else!" Chat responded loudly, and rather harshly. "If you still cared about her you would never be doing this to her."
"Then I guess you have your answer." Nathanael sneered, crossing his arms.
Chats heart stopped. Nathanael was about to kill Marinette, it was only a matter of time before she ran out of air. Adrien glanced at his ring one more time before meeting the gaze of a reset eyes Marinette. She was afraid, and it made Adrien's decision even harder. He slowly slipped off his ring.
"I'm sorry, Princess."
