The next morning.....

Ally's POV

I was having a peaceful, sleepless dream when all of a sudden, I heard a knock on my door.

"I'm coming..." I reluntically got out of bed and opened the door to find Slugcat by my door. I leaned against the door frame and checked the time on my phone. It was 8:30am.

"Slugcat, I'm sleepy...." I closed the door and went back under my blankets on the bed. I turned off the lights and was about to fall back asleep when she turned on the lights. I immediately shielded my eyes. She apologized,

"Sorry to wake you, but we have an aggresive guest." Valdezi, Junjie and Cyan brought Shade in. He was furious at them, but when he saw me, he calmed down. I groaned and got out from under the covers, my hair tangled and disarray.

"We should probably get out, right?" Cyan asked. I nodded absentmindly and everyone except Shade and I left the room. I asked,

"Shade, I'm fine. So can you please go back to the Dark Periphery and come back at around noon? I'm sleepy, I wanna sleep..." He replied,

"I would have left you alone if Chief Shadow didn't want me to tell you that you still need to be the Unbeatable Master." I groaned.

"Do I seriously have to deal with that bullshit? I don't wanna be the Unbeatable Master. Tell him to leave me alone. Oh, and turn the lights off on your way out." He left and turned the lights off. I lay back on my bed and fell asleep almost immediately. I woke up 2 hours later and did my morning routine. After that, I went downstairs, ate a light but healthy breakfast and sparred with Junjie. Our slugs were both disciplined but I won.

"Still have your slinging touch, I see." He smiled after I helped him up. I asked,

"Thanks." Then he frowned and replied,

"I was having a really good dream until Shade scared the shit out of me." I laughed and he just glared at me. After a while of chatting, he continued training and I went to the Periphery. Chief Shadow teleported in front of me.

"Allyson, you are finally cured and released from Serena, I see." I nodded.

"And I see that you sent Shade to my place to annoy me when I'm too sleepy to get anything into my head." I said in my matter-of-fact accent. He told me,

"You need to be the next Unbeatable Master. It is your destiny." I refused.

"For the last time, Chief Shadow, I can't. I'm not cut out for the job. It's not my destiny. There are certainly people who can beat me in a duel, can't you find one?" I teleported home to find Junjie discussing a plan. He saw me and smiled.

"Ally! We were just talking about our ambush! You wanna join?" I smirked evilly and told them,

"I would love to. A mission is the best way to tell Slugterra we're still awesome. What do you have in mind?" Cyan replied,
"Healing Dark Water and ghouls at the Citadel. There's a major increase since Pyrono and Emily joined forces." I looked at their plana and frowned.

"How are you just gonna sneak in without getting caught by guards? I can shut down all electronic items inside, but I can't stop all the guards at once, we have to take them down a few at once. Junjie facepalmed himself.

"Why didn't I think of that.." He muttered. Just then, a Skype call came up on the conputer. Junjie replied and Leo was sitting by the computer.

"We heard you're planning a mission." John, Alana and Glynss were in the background, along with the other Shane Gang with Tayvin, Tank, Tanor, Flayn and Jayna. I smiled and he huffed.

"Without the fabulous Shane Gang?! How could you?! I'm offended!" He told us sarcastically and flipped his non-existent hair. We all laughed for a while, then I replied,

"Yeap, if you want to hear the plan, come over." He smiled and responded,

"We're coming." He hung up and in 10 minutes, a knock could be heard.

"Blueprint, Valdezi?" I asked, holding my hand out. He gave a blue print to me. I opened it and looked at the new Citadel. The technology was really advanced, much more advanced than when I last saw it.

"Ashley, ring your gang here." She nodded and teleported her gang here.

"Ok, so we seperate as groups. We'll attack the Citadel and two ghoul depots with seperate plans each. Go big or go home, right?" Everyone agreed, and I continued.

"So, Scarlet, Eli, Trixie, Kord, Valdezi, Slugcat and Cyan, with me. Trixie and Scarlet, since you both are the strongest in technology, you hack the security system and shut all security down. Ashley and I trickshot all the guards in the area outside. Then Eli, Kord and authors, follow us inside. Eli, Kord, heal the Dark Water and ghouls. Authors, distract Pyrono and Emily. Ashley, handle Rachel. When we're done, Trixie and Scarlet bring the mechas to the back and we ride away." They all nodded.

"Kyle, Felipe, Alana, John, Glynss and Pronto, in one group. You'll purify the ghoul depot nearest Stalagmite 17. Mole Face, stand in front of the ghoul depot, where every guard can see you. When the come, stink them. Kyle, Felipe, you're with mole face." Pronto was insulted and the rest of the Shane Gang were fighting the urge to laugh.

"EXCUSE ME, I AM PRONTO!! NOT MOLE FACE!!" That cracked everyone up. We laughed so hard at that. When we finally calmed down, I continued.

"Glynss, and Alana, blow up a hole in the wall with some Hop Rocks. Feel free to some dynamite. John, the guards need a lover for the night." He smirked, knowing where this was going. He replied,

"Hell yeah." I smiled.

"Leo, Junjie, twins, Tank, Flayn and Jayna, the one nearest to Eli's place. That one's well guarded. Leo and Junjie, pretend to be a guards and bring the twins, Tank and Flayn in as prisoners. Jayna will hack the security identification system. For Leo and his team except Jayna, reveal yourself with Leo starts humming. Leo, start humming when Jayna tells you you're near the ghouls. Because she will be watching and she will have a layout of that depot. Guys, when you're in there, sling it like you mean it while Jayna tells you the direction. When we're all done, meet here." We all were sastified with the plan and I added,

"We start at zero hour. We have 6 Boon Docs, plus Ashley and I have healing powers and Slugcat can morph. Slugcat, Ashley and I will heal the Dark Water and ghouls, Haylan, Battlescar, with your owners along with Isis. Doc, Athena and Bravery, my Boon Doc, with Alana." All Boon Docs chirped in agreement. Kord smiled and slapped me on the back. I fell to the door, dizzy. Everyone rushed to help me up.

"Are you ok?! I didn't mean to hit you so hard!!" Kord asked.

"I'm fine, just don't do that." He nodded as I stood up with Leo's help.

Ashley's POV

At 1:30am, everyone was at the author's mansion celebrating my return and success for the mission.It was an extreme party, some drinking, everyone dancing. Felipe impressed everyone with his moves. Man, seriously, I could take dance classes from him. I was about to go get a sundae when I saw a boy and sneaked outside. A boy appeared in front of me.

"Igor, fuck off my front yard." I ordered. He looked at me with those familiar brown eyes replied,

"Ally, I've been searching for so long, just let me say something." I growled and pointed my blaster at him.

"Fine. Then scram." He replied,

"I love you. And I'm sorry about whatever I've done. I want you in my life, like we used to. Remember when we used to go to the clearing, when we climed trees back at the Dark Periphery?" He pinned me to the wall. I was too weak to escape his firm grip, the operation drained me. I growled as he snatched my blaster and threw it far away. He drained my strength and slowly, I felt like falling asleep. I couldn't handle it anymore. Before I collasped, I heard him say,

"This is gonna be a long night indeed, isn't it Ally?"

Ally: THIS IS TO STOP CHI YI AND HER ROMANCE WITH ME AND VALDEZI

JBV: You'll do that to yourself to stop Chi Yi from making romance between us?

Ally: No prob.

Slugcat: *morphs into a cat*
