Hello, I'm working on the final chapter for A Twist in Time, a twilight fanfic I started years ago. I thought it was finished until someone commented on it saying they were waiting for an update. I'm trying to get back into that mindset for one last chapter, but until then, here you go

It was slightly hard for Liv to keep her growing cravings from Fin and Munch. Even when Elliot came back and they went back to normal. Well as normal as it would be for a long time. Elliot was on desk duty for another two weeks until he got to the doctor to make sure his ribs were healed. It was driving him insane, though. Liv was switching between Munch and Fin every day, it made him mad. 

Liv tossed a crumpled piece of paper to Elliot as Munch and Fin worked on a case at their desks. Elliot read it and chuckled. I want pickles and ice cream. 

He got his pen and wrote back, Typical pregnancy craving. Before tossing it back to Liv. She narrowed her eyes and thew the paper in the trash. "Okay, I guess I'm going for a food run, what's everyone want?"

"Sandwich'll do for me," Fin stated looking up from his pile of paperwork. 

"Fruit salad," Munch grumbled. Fin looked at him oddly. "My doctor wants me to lay off the high calorie foods for a week and then do some blood work." Fin shook his head at his partner. 

Liv chuckled. "Uh, surprise me," she shrugged. Elliot already knew what she wanted. He winked at her and left. 

Half an hour later, Elliot came back with his hands full of bags. Placing one on Fin's desk, he stated, "Sandwich, Fruit salad, and two bottles of water."

The other he placed his his desk and handed Liv her jar of pickles and pint of ice cream. "Pickles and ice cream for the oddball."

Fin looked at Liv questioningly as she tried to open the jar. Elliot stood and watched her for a good while as she struggled with a smile on his face. "You gonna stand there or help me?"

She held the jar out to Elliot who twisted it open with ease. "Show off," she muttered, biting into a pickle as she opened the ice cream. 

Cragen stepped out of his office and scrunched his nose at Liv who continued to bite the pickles then eat ice cream. Elliot handed him a sandwich of his own with a bottle of water. "Thanks," Cragen said, shaking his head at Liv. 

At half past 4, Liv stood up and groaned. Today has been a slower day, which she was sort of thankful for. She was able to get out of here for her appointment. Elliot had faked going home already ten minutes ago and was waiting in the car for her. "Bye guys."

She came out after five more minutes, wiping her mouth. "You good?"

She nodded. "Just throwing up," she said bitterly. 

He patted her knee as they drove to the doctor. It took around twenty minutes to actually get there, plus another ten to check in and wait. Liv was so done by the time the wrinkled nurse called them back that Elliot thought she was going to explode when she checked her weight. It had seemed to double since last week. 

The doctor did her normal tests, then the ultrasound. Elliot watched the screen as two little dots showed up. Last time was only one. He looked at the doctor, who saw the same thing and double checked. Liv looked worried and Elliot placed a hand on her shoulder to calm her. "It's okay."

After the doctor was done checking, she nodded and handed Liv a towel. "Okay, so good news," the doctor started. "Now your weight has increased greatly in the past week. That's amazing. Babies are measuring perfect for their weight."

Elliot ran a hand over his face. Twins. Again. He looked at Liv who didn't seem to understand. "You mean baby?" She looked from the doctor to Elliot, who shook his head. 

The doctor smiled and laughed. "No, babies. It seems that one was hiding behind the other last time. It's not unheard of for missing a twin this early, but by this time it's usually detected. I double checked, there are two babies in there. I even went back through your charts from the hospital and last week. They did detect a faster than normal heartbeat for a baby, but they wrote that off as stress from the fainting. Then last week it must have been hiding behind the other one. We are going to take it one week at a time, continue to gain weight and we will see you back here next week."

Liv couldn't believe that she was carrying twins. The whole ride home was a blur for her. Even when Kathy dropped off Eli for the night while she went to work, she just sat on the couch and stared blankly at the TV. Elliot wasn't worried about her. Kathy was shocked when she got pregnant with the twins after already having two kids. It will take time for Liv to comprehend the fact that she is responsible for two lives now. 

She kept rubbing her stomach as Eli curled into her side. Elliot smiled as he brought over some salad for the three of them. Mostly meat and cheese with smaller veggies for Eli. He kissed Liv's head before sitting on the other side of her and watching the movie as well. He enjoyed these small moments with Liv and Eli.
