Alec's Pov

Alec hears someone banging into the garbage bin in the next street. He starts sprinting, with Clary behind him. He reaches the alleyway and Clary gasps behind him. Magnus was on the ground, his beautiful necklaces broken across the floor and his vest and shirt torn from his body. A man ran his fingers through him as Magnus dodged his kisses.

"What the HELL!" Alec started sprinting as fast as he could, but the warlock had made a portal and escaped, leaving his boyfriend half-naked and shivering. "Mags. Oh my god." Alec's eyes brimmed with tears as he saw his helpless boyfriend. Magnus lay limp in his hands, as his body started to heat up.

Clary and Alec brought Magnus to the loft, calling Catarina Loss. After an hour, Catarina walks out, looking exhausted. "Darac. It's a drug that drains warlocks of their energy. Very powerful and very deadly." Cat frowns. "But for someone like Magnus. It should only last at most 30 minutes." Alec's eyes widen. "Did he use his magic?"

"I heard someone being pushed into the garbage bins in the back."
