▬▬ "My apologies, I didn't mean to intrude... Your date." L/N apologized while shuffling away from the male.
As for Polnareff, he almost spits his drink when he hears the term "date".
He would rather date a stupid flower than Sherry. A plant would be more entertaining than getting manipulated by a cunning fox like her. I mean, she could be a nice fox from time to time, but most of the time wasn't the case.
"It's alright, miss?" The pretty girl asked for Y/N's last name with a genuine smile, but the girl mistook it as a threat from her, so Y/N averted her eyes from the person.
"L/N." The H/C haired girl gave away her last name cautiously, slightly forgetting that her stalker was in the same room as her.
"It's alright Miss L/N, and no, we don't support incest in this household." The curly-haired girl's response made the other girl flustered; Y/N did not mean to make assumptions about them.
"Oh. I suppose you guys are cousins or something?" The florist assumed again.
"Siblings, actually." The female Polnareff corrected.
"You both look nothing alike." L/N pointed out, which made Jean roll his eyes while Sherry giggled.
To be honest, his sister would rather they don't look alike, or else she wouldn't have eyebrows.
"We get that a lot but, unfortunately, we came from the same womb." The raven-haired girl stated in a sad yet sarcastic tone, but her statement piqued her brother's attention.
"What do you mean, unfortunately?" The silver-haired male repeated, but the girl only rolled her eyes at him.
"It means what it means, White knight." Sherry teased her brother as she dropped a hint for Y/N, but judging from the look on her face, it seemed like Sherry had to be more direct with the hints because she definitely did not get the hint.
"Darling, why don't you take a seat." The curly-haired girl offered the free seat beside hers.
"It's alright, my friends are waiting for me to come back from the washroom." The H/C-haired girl tried to excuse her awkward-self, but there was a lingering feeling that the pretty lady would insist more until she complied with her request.
"Then bring them over." Sherry added as she scooped out her parfait.
L/N did not understand Mr. Baguette's sister. The girl with curly hair acted so comfortably around her, but Y/N didn't even know who she was. The pretty lady was acting like they were already friends despite not knowing each other's first names...
It made her so uncomfortable, and it felt so unnerving that she forgot to think straight.
"Pardon?" The florist blurted out with no thinking.
"You heard me." The raven-haired girl responded with ease.
"Plus, my brother's paying for today, I'm pretty sure no one would pass up the opportunity for free food." The female Polnareff happily added.
"I would." L/N murmured; She didn't even realize she said it out loud.
Jean heard her murmur, and he's slightly hurt, but he couldn't blame her for being skeptical. His sister was literally acting like all three of them knew each other, even though they were practically strangers!
Plus, she didn't even know about the assault that the florist had experienced, and the employee accusing Polnareff was a stalker of hers.
He wouldn't be surprised if the florist began assuming the whole assault was staged by him. And just to clarify, he did not stage the assault, he just stumbled upon it and forced himself to get involved to save her.
"I assumed you would but remember, I invited you and your friends over." Sherry reminded the girl, then drank her coffee.
"They have every right to decline, but it would be best to pass on my invitation to them." Polnareff's sister continued.
As more words fell out of her mouth, Polnareff and the florist got more irritated. They hated the fact she was right about manners and she was using it against them.
Neither understood the situation along with the cunning woman, but they had no choice but to comply. If they wanted answers from Sherry, they had to listen to her or they wouldn't get any.
"Plus, it would be rude if you decline without asking them first and you choose to answer in their stead." The curly-haired girl added, then ended her statement with a smile.
Jean narrowed his eyes at his sister.
He did not understand what was going on in her head.
He wanted to check if a stand user was controlling her but it seems like she was alright. It wasn't like she was wreaking havoc. If there was a stand user, he did not want to risk the customers getting hurt, especially a certain florist.
Polnareff knew his sister was cunning and somewhat of a pretty lady which is a deadly combination, but sometimes she was so cunning that it was difficult to read her, especially right now.
The scenario before him felt like an escape room. A small room with limited objects that could be of use to him to escape the room. However, he did not know if the hints or the objects were there to begin with. He only knew that he aimed to escape, but the ambiguity made it impossible.
But he knew one thing, Sherry seemed determined to make the florist stay.
However, he wasn't even sure whether Sherry was trying to tease him or compete for a girl...
"Clever." The florist complimented his sister, then she stood up and left to get her friends.
Y/N sighed to herself. She could only hope they would deny the curly-haired girl's request.
"Why thank you." The cunning woman thanked her with a smirk on her face.
"Why the fuck are you talking fancy all of a sudden?" The dense man questioned while narrowing his non-existent eyebrows at Sherry.
"Hush you imbecile." The raven-haired girl teased while playing along with her cunning role, which is pissing off Polnareff.
"I may be an idiot, but I can break your bones." The silver-haired male hissed, but his threat didn't scare her. It made her smile stretch even further.
"You can break my bones, but the law and the boys prevent you from doing that." The curly-haired girl countered with a prideful smile on her lips.
"Fair enough." Jean said, but something was bothering him and that was Sherry's intention and goal.
"Why are you butting in with my love life again?" Polnareff asked his sister.
"You just said it seconds ago." His sister said, but it did not register into his skull.
"I can break your bones?" The stand user answered with uncertainty.
"No, the part you admitted that you were an idiot." Sherry reiterated, and from her peripheral vision, she saw three girls approaching their table.
"What about it?" Jean questioned; He was obviously illiterate of the three- rather two attractive girls and a tired university student approaching them.
"I'm here to help."
He was going to ask what she meant by help but he noticed a burgundy haired girl, a jade haired girl, and a H/C haired girl approaching their table.
The male decided he would ask her later. Since he didn't want a certain florist to know that he was still going to pursue her.
