Thanksgiving season was up on us again and the wedding was just over an month away. Most of us moved in to the family apartment of the holiday. Dan and I did. I sat in my barely used room staring out of my window. I hadn't been the same since I saw Serena the person who I thought had changed kiss Dan. There was a small knock and I looked over Mom was standing in the doorway.

"Are you okay?" I smile slightly

"Yeah. I will be" I scratched my head "I better be getting dressed right? I'm sure I packed a dress, but then again I've been stung with betrayal and am a little out of it." I look though my wardrobe

"I thought Serena had grown up, I mean there are somethings that are just so childish. Dan told her straight years ago. He told her that he loved me and I thought she accepted it. I mean we've been through stuff but this this is just..." I shook my head

"Put it out of your mind. You have fiancee who loves you and family who loves and supports you . This one" She pulled out the blush pink "I compliments your eyes"

"Thank you Mom." I went behind my screen and changed, I came out and she helped me zip my dress up. We headed back into the living room we saw Blair and Dorotea, probably here to plead Serena's case. My brother had also arrived. I slipped my arms around his waist to hug him which he returned and kissed my head as well.

"Oh, Blair, Dorotea. What are you doing here?" Mom asked

"Just bringing a little tradition." she gestured to Dorotea holding Ana in a oppose and a pie

"Can I?" I ask motioning to Ana

"Of course Miss Rosalie." Chuck took the pie and Dorotea undid the carrier to I could hold little Ana.

"I'm spending the holidays with Daddy and Roman in Paris. I figured since we usually spend this day together that you know..." Blair trailed off "Is Serena here?" I furrowed my eyebrows at her question.

"We thought she was with you." Mom replied

"No, I haven't seen her since Chuck's party. She never came home." Blair told us, I was even more confused. Not worried because let's face it Serena is my lowest priority

"Okay, now I'm worried." Eric stated

"Charles?" Mom asked

"She's not at the Empire." Chuck answered

"Then where the hell is she?" Mom wondered. I handed Ana back to her Mom and help her fix her back in. a half hour later Mom got a call. We watched as everything about her changed and she hung up.

"Serena's in hospital, she was brought in after she called 911. She overdosed." Everyone dropped everything. Chuck brought me my coat and I slipped it on as we headed to the hospital. We got there and they wouldn't tell us much than what we already knew.

"I'm gonna call Dan." I say and go outside I held 1 down and it immediately dialled him

"Hey, Babe, I'm at Nate's right now. Vanessa should be there soon. Though I should warn you, there is, uh, stuffing with tofu involved."

"Dan, i need to tell you something but it needs to stay with the immediate family for now." I tell him "Serena's in the hospital."

"Is everything okay?" he asks

"I don't know. But we're at St Margarets"

"All right. I'm close I'll be there soon." I hung up and found Mom and Rufus in the lobby

"I called Dan, he's on his way." I sat down on the other side of Mom "How are you doing?" I ask her taking her hand.

"I don't know, sweetheart. I don't know. But I'm going to get some coffee." she left the two of us and I rested my chin on my hand.

"What's going on? Is she okay?" Dan questions arriving

"She overdosed in some cheap motel in Queens. Alone." Blair answered him "Why didn't she come to me? I mean, no matter how angry we were with each other, she knows. I don't know what I would do if anything happened to her." I stood up and left them. I headed for the only place I knew would be quiet. The chapel.

"So this is where you sloped off to." I heard my brother. He came and sat down next to me.

"Everyone out there is oh woe is Serena. I'm not that." I told him "I know I should feel something a change of heart or guilt or hope but I just feel...justice." I laugh hollowly "Fucked up right. Our adoptive sister is lying in a hospital bed overdosed from drugs and feel like justice has been served."

"You've always had a...turbulent relationship with her. But despite everything I know that in your own way, you're worried it's just that with everything that happened this feeling you have is the more predominant one."

"Humm. It is kind of weird not being the one in the hospital bed this time. Good weird but weird." he smirks

"Come on, maybe the others know something by now." We left the chapel and made our way back to everyone. Dan see's me and pulls me into an embrace. Lily and Rufus came back

"We saw you talking to the doctor. How is she?" Eric asked

"When can we see her?" Blair added

"The doctor thinks it might be a good idea for Serena to get help." Rufus told us. I got what he was implying

"What kind of help?" Dan questioned

"Oh my god they think she did this on purpose?" Eric exclaimed

"No one is saying that." Lily denied

"But there's a chance?" Blair breathed and there was a long pause. The doctor came back over to us.

"Have you made a decision?"

"No." Lily answered "We need to think."

"Here's a crazy suggestion. Why don't we ask Serena?" Dan suggested

"She's not gonna go anywhere but home. I can tell you that much." Eric replied

"Yet if she did fall back into old habits and take too much for whatever reason then she needs help. Professional help." I chimed in

"If you decide she needs treatment we have grounds to sign off on a involuntary admission." The doctor informed

"You can't be serious. To admit her against her will is wrong." Dan shook his head "If you do that, you're not going to be able to take it back

"What if you don't and it happens again?" i say "Mom I've been where she is twice before my crash and looking back on it now I wish Dad had done something. I know you don't like it but do you really want her to end up like I did?"

"Rosie is right. I'm scared for her. It would be different if she never acted out like this, but she has." I felt Blair take my hand.

"It's your choice Lil. We'll support you, whatever you decide." Rufus told his wife.

"Guys." Eric stated

"I just want what's best for her. What if its the only way for her to move on get centred." Lily replied

"Guys, look." Eric pointed to the Tv and I turned my attention too it. It was reporting on Serena and played the 911 phone call.

"Oh my god." Lily breathed

"There are news vans in the street. This place is going to be swarming with papparzzi in about five minutes."

"So get her out of here take her home where she can rest." Dan suggested

"I'm sure they're pitching tents outside the apartment. That's not what she needs. She needs quiet. She needs safe." Blair added

"Mrs Humphrey, you're daughter's waking up now. Would you like to see her?" A nurse asked. Mom turned back to the doctor.

"Ostroff centre."

"And if she doesn't want to go? Involuntary hold?" Mom paused

"Yes, now."
