31st Of December not only marked New Year's Eve but also the wedding day of Daniel and and Rosalie. After being engaged for four months they picked today. Only a week ago had they all sat down to a Christmas meal and gone they're separate ways. But now their friends an family dropped what they were doing and how they were feeling for Dan and Rosie. Dan was at the old Humphrey Apartment with Nate. Rosie at their home 10 minutes away with Vanessa, Blair, Serena and Jenny.

The morning of, was a easy start all of them waking up and having breakfast, the reception was set to start at one so at 10 everyone was getting ready, make up artists and hairdressers worked on all five girls. Jenny had for this one time not a ounce of 'raccoon' makeup as Dan so eloquently put it. The bridesmaids all got dressed just as Rosie was being finished.

Back at the loft Nate, Eric and Rufus helped Dan with is nerves, all three men didn't need as much time but they got ready early and checked so many times that they had everything because they didn't want to be embarrassed that they forgot anything. The photographer they hired bounced between homes taking pictures of the bridal party and the groom party.

An hour before they were due to start were group photos. Chuck had arrived just in the nick of time.

"Sister, you look beyond beautiful. Dad would have been proud. Speaking of..." he brought out a box and handed it to her. She opened it revealing a hair comb

"Chuck. it's amazing"

"Family heirloom, it was our grandmothers. No one up until you has needed it. Something old and something blue."

"Blair." she handed it to her best friend who carefully removed it and tucked it just behind the veil. They then all gathered to take more posed photo's.

Dan, Eric, Rufus and Nate all left for the Church which housed the 100 guest invited to this wedding. However, paparazzi were camped behind barriers to snap pictures of the Bass Heiress marry her Brooklyn boy. Dan stepped out and ignored the flashes of the cameras and headed into the church.

The bridal party followed not long after Bridesmaids in one car. Chuck and Rose in the other. Rose toyed with her engagement ring that sat in it's temporary place on the other hand, so the wedding ring could be slipped on.

"Everything okay Rosie?" Chuck questioned

"Yeah, just a little nervous." she smiled. Chuck took her hand and kissed it in comfort. They arrived. Chuck stepped out first then offered his hand to his sister which she took and joined him. He guided her inside to her awaiting bridesmaids. Blair who was maid of honour fixed Rosie's train and veil. The music started Vanessa was the first to walk down followed by Serena, Jenny and then Blair once they took their places up front. The music changed. The Power of love (Attach Gabrielle Aplin)

Chuck escorted his sister down the aisle to an awaiting Dan. He beamed as his future wife came ever closer. Once they reached the alter, Chuck kissed his sisters cheek then shook Dan's hand as they took their final steps. Rose handed her flowers to Blair. Everyone sat down as Chuck joined everyone else.

"We are gathered here today to celebrate the marriage of Rosalie Amalia Evelyn Bass and Daniel Rudolph Humphrey. If anyone had reason to object to this union please speak now or forever hold your piece." Everyone was silent "We shall begin."

The friends and family of the two watched on as they joined themselves together. Rufus sat between Lily and Alison as they watch their children marry. Chuck's gaze drifted from his sister to his ex girlfriend. Once upon a time they would have been in the same position but fate had a cruel idea. Blair eyes never left her best friend but could feel her former lovers gaze on her.

"Rosie, when we met years ago I don't think you can even remember but when we met again I knew you were not only a different person but the right person. And the day you snogged in the school courtyard. Everything changed. I promise to be there not only to ground you but to do my absolute best not to be too judgemental" everyone laughed " I also promise to be there for you on your darkest days and your brightest days." Dan recited making Rosie smile even wider.

"Dan, For the longest time I never thought anyone would be able to love me like you do. And I know I get things wrong sometimes, okay more than sometimes but you're always there. Only you could stand in the background and know the right moment to say she's gonna blow!" they laughed " I promise to stand by you, trust you even when it may be hard. to keep both our worlds together and in sync. To encourage and support you through whatever may come."

"Who has the rings?" Nate handed the silver bands over and they were blessed. Dan took Rosies ring.

"Rosalie, I give you this ring as a sign of our marriage and there to I plight the my throth." he slipped it onto her finger. Rosie took Dan ring.

"Daniel, I give you this ring as a sign of our marriage and there to plight the my troth." she slipped his ring on

"In the sight of God, family and friends I now pronounces you man and wife, you may kiss the bride." Their friends and family clapped and cheered
