Want you to make me feel like I'm the only girl world, like i'm the only one that you'll ever love.

I sang while dancing around the kitchen making breakfast. I felt a pair of arms slip around my waist and pulled me tighter and moved my hair to kiss my neck. I laughed

"Don't do that when I'm next to the cooker." I hummed in satisfaction "You Daniel Humphrey are extremely distracting."

"I know, i can't help it." He pulled away "But now I have to go and meet my Dad and Eric."

"Oh come on, just as things were getting interesting." I stomp my foot and pout, Dan just laughed and gave me a kiss.

"I know, I'll see you later though." he grabbed his jacket and left. I sighed and continued making pancakes.

Later on I was sat in my office writing and article for the paper. When there was a small knock on my door. Dan and Eric came through

"Hi, give me one minute I'm almost finished." I mutter and finish off the last paragraph they sit down across from me. I finish and send the article off.

"What brings the two of you into my office?" I ask going over to the mini fridge and getting out three mini bottles of water handing one to each of them.

"After the other week's dispute. Jenny's afraid to come back into the city. Which means she's not gonna be there for our parents first wedding anniversary." Eric started

"We figured that while there is a war going on between Chuck and Blair, That Chuck would be on our side and help, he loves Lily. But then we also thought that if we were to ask him their might be some strings attached." Dan continued

"Yes, but if you ask." Eric trailed off.

"Your working on the fact he rarely says 'no' to me." they nodded "Okay. I call him." I pick up the phone and call my brother. Dan and Eric smile at each other . It rings out but he doesn't pick up. I scowl.

"He's not answering. He always answers unless he's in trouble and surely I would know, especially after the Prague incident." I hang up and bring up the Gossip Girl website

"What are you doing?" Eric asks

"Well, maybe Gossip Girl knows something. Who am I kidding, she knows everything." I pull up the feed of the latest news.

"Ask and you shall find." The came round to look over my shoulder.

"Guess we know why Chuck didn't answer the phone." Dan sighs

"Of course Chuck and Blair go to war and end up happier than ever. Leaving Jenny and our family in a pile of rubble."

"Yeah, figures, rubble is their speciality." I held up my hands

"Boys, boys relax sit back down and take a load off. Please." They do as I ask and go to my filing cabinet. "When war strikes the upper east side there is bound to be peace, trust me I've been there. However there is a card we've yet to play a few in fact. One of which is stealth strike, a peacetime is never more vulnerable than within it's first month."

"What do you have in mind?" Eric asks

"Why do I have to do all of the work? You guys are smart. Dan take Eric to your office and brainstorm idea's"

"And what are you gonna do?" Dan questions

"Well you're plan A and B. I'm the rest of the alphabet. Now go on scoot." the leave and I look down and a small hard drive. Only a small handful of people knew about this.

I got a text from Dan while I was having Lunch.

Chuck and Blair have a peace treaty! And I have a way to break it.

He arrived back home with Eric a hour later and he showed his what he'd found.

"That's their biggest secret?" Eric asked "I was expecting a little more something American Psycho. Not stabbing a homeless man but at least feeding a cat to a ATM."

"A birthday surprise may be in order. I'm sure it will only take a couple of calls." Dan suggested to me and i nodded

"Look, guys. I know we want Jenny to come in for the anniversary. But she fought back last week and nearly lost everything she learned. You told her that yourself. Maybe we shouldn't"

"Eric's right." I hmm collecting all the papers. "We'll take the high road, and I will return this before they even know it's gone. Go home Eric, get ready for the party and we'll see you there."

"I'm glad to know you feel that way." Eric smiled "Okay I'll see you later." I see him leave then run over to the front window and see him get a cab.

"What was that about?"

"Oh please. I love Eric but he doesn't have the stomach for espionage. One try and he was ready to give up."

"But you just said."

"I never promised, neither did you. the devil is in the details. Now Daniel Humphrey, show me what you've learnt." he took out his phone and made those couple of calls. I then went upstairs to get dressed

"Here let me." He slowly zipped the back of my dress and kissed my shoulder .

"Perfect."
