That evening I was chilling on the sofa with Moon, I had missed him over the summer and it was clear he missed me because he followed me everywhere since he got home. The doorbell rang and I answered it. Serena stood there holding takeout.

"Two lonely girls and take out?"

"Come on in." I stepped aside and she petted Moon a little as she walked in. After closing we sat on the floor around the coffee table.

"She completely ditches me and lies about it. I mean I won't be offended she's gonna have club activities but she doesn't have to lie." Serena sighs "How is Dan?"

"I wish I knew I spoke to him for all of thirty seconds, today. Something is up."

"So why not go talk to him?"

"And say what. Hey Dan I know your dealing with the baby from the one night stand you can't remember but here's the thing I still love you. By the way would you be okay with me castrating your baby mama." she laughed "Cause that would roll of the tongue ."

"Well it would coming from you."

"I mean we haven't officially broken up/ended thing it just...stopped? Stalled? I have no clue."

"And what about Chuck? My Mom tells me he's bring Eva to the party tomorrow."

"I've barley had a chance to talk to her. She know's me and we exchanged a few words the night Blair convinced Chuck to come home, which I am still offended."

"Is that where there are so many different kinds of Roses?" she questioned looking around.

"Yeah, don't forget a dress for tomorrow, a bracelet, earrings, chocolates and a couple of presents for Moony." I gesture to my kitty cat snoozing on the sofa behind me

"How long are you gonna make him sweat?"

"At least a week. We met up after he came home and talked but after that, the cold shoulder." I smirk.

-The next day-

I got ready for the Fashion night out, then headed to Dan's to pick something up. I knocked on the door. He opened it

"Wow."

"Hey, sorry I think I still have a thing or two here. I'm hoping it's here. Do you mind if I check?"

"Sure come in." I walked through

"Hi, Vanessa." she was holding Milo I smiled

"Look how cute you are." I cooed playing with his fingers "He get's his looks from you clearly. Not an ounce of the devil. Unlike your mother. I'll be right back" I head into his room and riffled though some thing till I found the purse I was looking for.

"Okay, I'll be off then. Thanks."

"So." he stopped me from leaving "Where are you going all dressed up?"

"The Fashion night out event. I am the muscle buffer between your father and my brother. Mom told me he wasn't all that please when he heard Chuck was back. Not that I blame him but still."

"Okay. Oh sorry about being short with you yesterday. It's just..."

"Think nothing of it. Well I better be going. Have a nice night. Bye Milo." I kiss his little fingers and leave. When I arrive and find Mom and Rufus.

"Mom. Rufus."

"Rosalie, you look simply divine."

"Thank you"

"Excuse me." Mom went to talk with someone and i was left with Rufus and Eric who looked annoyed before I could speak to them. Chuck joined us he cleared his throat.

"Rufus, Eric, my darling sister. It's good to see you." he held out his hand but they didn't take it. "Okay, I'm sorry."

"You got a lot of nerve showing your face here." Rufus retorted

"I thought Lily spoke with you."

"She did, That was before I found out you tried to rape my 14 year old daughter."

"Oh christ." I mumbled and looked at Eric.

"I know nothing I can do will make up for that, but it was years ago. I apologised to Jenny and she forgave me. Did something happen to change her mind?"

"No, I just thought it was time Rufus knew the whole story." Eric replied

"So kind of you a 17 year old with a grudge there this thing called revenge you do it and move on you didn't so..." I trailed off

"I'm fine, Rosie."

"I'm glad because now I can keep you away from my family."

"I understand. I'm sorry. But I want you to know that I would never do anything to hurt your daughter or anyone ever again. If you'll excuse me."

"As a father it's my responsibility to make sure no one else daughter gets hurt like mine. Where's this new girlfriend. She should know what kind of man you are."

"Rufus you wouldn't dare."

"I would." he looked back and we saw Eva Oh shit "Is that her."

"No, obviously she's just another social climber making a play for Chuck Bass. Whoever she is she's not with me." he lied. Eva left then so did Chuck

"As a father you have every right to be pissed at Chuck. But that kicking a man when he's just getting up is ridiculous." I tell Rufus

"You don't understand, Rose."

"Let me tell you what I understand. Rufus. As much as I call Lily my mom and love her like a daughter could Chuck is the only family I have and I almost lost him and I wouldn't have even known. I spent what felt like my entire life when it was only a few hours thinking that he was dead washed up on the banks of France. In those few hours I didn't think about everything bad he had ever done cause lets face it thats a lot. I thought about just having one more moment. He has changed and Eva changed him, you don't like it tough shit because if anyone trying to hurt him or take him away from me will pay. This is one thing no one should never cross me on."
