I dragged Dan into a quiet empty spot to make out. When we had finished we stumbled across Serena looking visibly upset.

"Serena, are you okay? Dean Ruther nice to see you again, it's been a while." I nod to the older woman.

"You too Miss Bass."

"Someone stole my phone and sent a elicit email to my professor. I'm facing expulsion." she told me

"Serena!" Vanessa called coming over with Juliet

"Call your phone. Maybe the person who stole it might still be here." Juliet offered her phone and Serena dialled. It started ringing and I looked down. I opened my purse and took out Serena's phone.

"You have got to be kidding me?" I say.

"Rose why would you do that to me? Steal my phone and sent that email to my professor." Serena asks

"I didn't do anything it was planted Duh."

"You have my phone on you." she exclaimed

"I'll speak with you later." Dean Ruther left us

"I just told you I didn't do anything. Besides I wouldn't be that tacky in sending a stupid e-mail." I threw the phone to her and she caught it.

"Then how did it get in your purse?"

"How the hell am I supposed to know. Serena you know me if I come at you I either rub it in your face or I never get caught. Mostly rub it in your face, cause let's face it I really have a thing for when your pissed off and I'm the cause."

"That doesn't help your defence." Juliet replied just as Nate came over

"No, it doesn't." he commented

"Oh bite me Archibald, you should know better than anyone that as a Bass I'm a lot more creative when I mess with someone. Besides Serena hasn't pissed me off...yet. I'm sure she will at some point but this ain't me."

"So you're denying it's not typically you to do something like that blast." Serena put a hand on her hip

"No I would have, but I didn't. Like I said I'm not annoyed at you so i have no motive. I'm kind of jealous I didn't think of it before though." I twirl my hair thinking.

"What time was the e-mail sent?" Dan questioned

"15 minutes ago." Serena replied

"Well she couldn't have sent it, she and I were...." he trailed off and I smirked "Not the point she was busy."

"Told you. I may like fucking with you head but this time I didn't do it. And if I did I wouldn't have been dumb enough to keep the thing on me. Someone else is screwing with you."

"Juliet and I took your phone earlier, we wanted to check from you that you hadn't done anything with either Dan or Nate." Vanessa admitted

"What don't drag me into this." Juliet protested "Look I wasn't going to say anything but Vanessa approached me earlier, she wanted to prove to Rosalie than you and Dan had..." she tried off

"Oh please bitch, that a lie." I scoffed "Vanessa sending that email is unlikely."

"Thank you Rosie."

"But you had been questioning Dan's fidelity, she grilled me this morning thinking we slept together." Serena confirmed

"Is this True?" Dan asked

"I was just asking. Dan I'm asking you to believe me, I did not send that email and I didn't try to frame Rosie." Dan sighed and walked off as did the others.

"V come here." i pulled her to my side "I don't know what your deal is but your card is officially marked, I know you're up to something. Step out of line again and I will end you. Let's go Vanessa."

Back at home I was getting ready for bed. I scowled at Dan which he noticed

"What it's not entirely unplauseable."

"The fact you think she could even go that far speak volumes especially when you've know her as long as you have. I would understand suspicion falling on me but her." I shake my head

" Either way she is going to stay with her parents for a while till the heat dies down." Dan informed me.

"Un freaking real. I'm gonna work in my office " i leave
