We arrived at the party arm in arm and looked around. Anyone who was anyone was here for Blair's 20th.

"Are you sure about this?" he asked me

'Are you?" I replied "I'm used to pulling of a epic throw down, you're still a novice. Besides, I never did payback Blair for Paris." I picked up a macaron and took a bite then offered the other half which he took.

"Ugh get a room you too, like back at yours." Blair groaned

"Hello, Blair. Happy Early Birthday." I smile sweetly

"Thank you, glad you could make it too Humphrey. Oh and you have a little something, right there" she pointed to the corner of her cheek and dusted away the crumbs She left us too it.

"Yes, Rosalie." we laughed and made the rounds. we saw Nate and Serena together.

"Dan, what are you doing here?" Serena beamed

"I came with Rosie of course. What about you, are you two back together?" Dan wonders

"No, we're not. But he's here for a different reason."

"Fascinating I'm sure, I'm going to try more of the sweet stuff." I tell Dan and walk away

"I'll join." he catches me up. I stop short seeing mom and Rufus. Uh-oh

"Dan, Rose what are you two doing here?" Rufus asks smiling

"We could ask you the same thing. I thought you were gonna be having your romantic night alone at home." Dan replies

"Eleanor convinced them to spend the evening with friends." Eric told us. I laughed slightly

"Oh, no but you can't stay here, Dan will tell you."

"Uh yeah, it would be bad luck. Everything here is crystal and china. You gotta go home and celebrate on paper plates as planned." Dan added

"You know I am surprised that you guys are so superstitious, Dan." Mom replied

"Let's face it our plan to stay at home was depressing. Now let's go check out those cookies in the shape of Blair's shoes"

"Okay." they departed and I slapped Eric's shoulder

"A little warning would have been nice, dude." I scold

"Ouch. I didn't think I needed to seen as you weren't gonna do anything." I scratched my head looking slightly guilty "You didn't."

"We didn't promise. Besides all is fair in love and war, but now the high has been ruined cause you brought the parents. Thank you Watson"

"Well can't you put a stop to it before it's to late."

"You can't be serious. Oh fuck me you have no balls." I storm off in a huff and head for anything sweet.

"Okay, enough you eat too much you're gonna be sick." Dan took the plate of confectionary of me

"Hey, it's bad enough that our parents turn up at our foreplay. Now you're taking the treats as well."

"Come on they're doing speeches." he pulled me away and we listened to Dorotea's speech. Dan embraced me from behind and once it was finished there was another clink.

"Hi everyone, I'm Rita and I'd also like to salute to the birthday girl. And I brought some special friends to help me with the toast." I felt myself bubble with anticipation "Or should I say roast." I cover my mouth as Eric joined us

"Luckily Robyn was working with me in New York this week and able to bring along a very special video of Blair. Let me take you back to a summer night in Stocklhom to an after party of one of Robyn's shows." The video started playing. Blair drunkly sang Stand by your man. Try as I might I could help by silently laugh. I turn and tried to hide my giggles in Dan's shoulder.

"No! No!" I turn around and watch as Blair tries to stop the video but she pushes Rachel Zoe.... and she falls to the floor. I gasp, Zoe sits up

"I'm fine." we breath in relief she goes to help herself stand up but hinted of the table helping it caves and melted chocolate spilled all on her. The video finished.

Robyn started signing and Dan took me out to dance. We swayed and watched at a furious Blair put our pieces together.

"Let's go see the real show." I pulled him away. We stop far enough away to hear the conversation

"You know how ashamed I am of that video." Blair began and ordered a mock-tail"Stand by your man? Gossip girl is offering a cash reward. It only take one video to topple and entire career. If you don't believe me just you tube Connie Chung piano."

"Just listen to me." Chuck tried to reason

"Why did you do it? Because I knew Jack was in Chile last summer? I only found that out because I was looking for you." I rolled my eyes bitch please.

"You were?"

"All summer while i was pretending not to care I wanted to know where you were. I paid a private eye to look but the only Bass he caught was your sister and your uncle."

"Blair, as much as I hate being at peace with you, I didn't do this." Chuck replied

"If you can stand there and lie to my face then you're either pure evil or just a common sociopath."

"You believe that?"

"Of course I do. And even if Nate and Serena peeked at the treaty you're the only one with a motive." Dan wrapped his arm around me

"Actually, there was someone else." Dan stated as we walked forward

"Is this a joke?" Chuck asked

"You two did this?" I gave them a small smirk and a wave.

"My sister doesn't feel safe in her house or be with her parents on their anniversary. She was a different person before she met the two of you." he pointed at them

"Come on Dan, it's not about Jenny. It may have started out that way but this about you and getting revenge. You went behind my back to do it" Nate replied in a condescending tone.

"And what's so wrong about that?" I wonder "In fact you three agreed to it remember." I dig in my bag

"Don't tell me you forgot the little pact you signed such a circumstance like your treatment of Jenny falls under it. "And you went after the wrong person try dealing with the bitch that exiled Jenny in the first place and tormented her when she returned for just one day and because she broke her stupid rules." I looked at my phone "Last meeting was an hour ago. Guess I'm going home."

"December 31st " he told me. I sighed and turned around "Our wedding this Christmas break? What do you say?"

"Really?" he nodded

"We'll have more than a day and despite our train wreck of a takedown this evening. When I was dancing with you earlier, I kind of wished it was our first dance." I laugh slightly and stood up skipping over to him and he lifts me up and twirls me around.

"Ever the romantic." I whispered then kissed him
