Jays POV
I walk into the district only to find my gut feeling was wrong, maybe it's because of how Lily reacted to Skyler yesterday I don't know. "Good morning" platt says looking at lily as she and I walk up the stairs that lead to intelligence "good morning to you too" Lily says as I open the gate after scanning my palm on the palm scanner. I walk up lily following me "why is she still around" lily asks pointing at Skyler "helping us solve your parents murder" Voight says walking out of his office "why so she can mess it up again, because if she did her job the first time I wouldn't be here with you guys, I would be with my parents." Lily yells getting frustrated. "You want to go color or something in the break room" Kate asks Lily. "Sure" she responds.
Lily's POV
We walk into the break room and shut the door. Kate grabs some crayons and paper and sits down next to me. "So what do you want to draw?" Kate asks me "a police woman like you" I say, grabbing a piece of paper and a navy blue crayon. "What should I draw" Kate asks "a fire dog" "like the one in the firehouse?" "Yeah" I respond. "You know over at firehouse 51 they have a fire dog" "can we go visit him" "yeah maybe in a bit" "Ok" I respond. I'm drawing the blue police shirt on the drawing of Kate when Jay comes in "what's up Jay" Kate asks as I look up from my drawing. "Can you take a look at some photos" Jay asks me "why so you can do a bad job arresting these people who will then hunt me down and kill me, no I won't." I say reaching for another crayon. "Jay don't" Kate says as he grabs the crayon from my hand. "What I'm not going" "lily, do you want to go back to the shelter, cause I think we can arrange for that." Jay yells "the last time I helped it was worse then when I started" I yell "You want to go to the fire house" Kate asks "no she needs to look at these pictures" Jay says "Jay stop" Kate yells as I run out of the break room and out of intelligence.
Kate's POV
"Jay what's gotten into you" I yell walking out to go after Lily. I go down stairs and find lily on the bench. "You want to go to the firehouse now." I ask Lily, crying on the bench. "Yes" she says rubbing the tears away from her eyes. "Come on then" I say as we head out the door.
Sorry for not updating in forever, I've started new stories so I've been busy then there's other stuff but hey I'm updating know so, hope you enjoyed it.
