Kate walked into the 21st precinct and up to the front desk

"I'm looking for Sergeant Voight" she said to the desk sergeant.

"Right this way " the desk sergeant says showing her to the caged door, buzzing her up.

She walks up the stairs and sees five desks and then two to the side with people sitting in them.

"You must be the new detective" Voight says walking out of his office. "I'm Sergeant Hank Voight"

"Nice to meet you I'm Kate Halstead" Kate replies.

"Excuse me did I hear you right your name is Kate Halstead" Jay asks. 

"Yeah" Kate responds.

"I see the resemblance between the two of you" Voight says.

"Are you sure I mean I don't have a sister. At least I don't have a sister I know of" Jay says

"And I don't have a brother . Or at least I don't have a brother I know of" Kate says

"Brothers" Jay says

"Wait there are two of you" Kate says, giggling a little, Erin as well.

"Yeah he's a ER Doc as well as a surgeon over at Chicago Med" Antonio says.

"The only way to figure out if you are siblings or not is a blood test which your taking tomorrow. Jay has one but do you have a blood sample in the system" Voight asks

"I don't think so" Kate responds

"Well then your getting that done tomorrow before you come in for work" Voight says.

And with that it was settled.
