Jayla and I have been dating for a few months now and we do this thing where we'd talk on the phone before we go to sleep.

I called Jayla around 10 to stay up and talk to her, we always took turns talking about our days.

"Hey babyyy" she said happily making me smile "Hiii beautiful"

"Tired babe?" "yup I just got home from volleyball practice" she said "Ohh that explains it..sooo whatcha doing?" I asked " I feel like I just want to sleep. I'm literally in bed right now with your hoodie and sweatpants on" she explained.

"Ohh then I don't want to keep you up" I said "I guess I'll see you tomorrow" I said a bit upset, I mean I didn't want to be the reason for her being tired in the morning.

"No, y/n keep talking" she said "I can let you go. Really, it's no problem" "Y/nnn" she whined "baby stop I love hearing your voice and plus this is our thing" she said and I smiled.

"Why don't you tell me about my day? How was it?" she asked.

I love her so much, and the fact that she wanted to stay up just to talk to me meant a lot.
