-Jayla's pov-

It was a little after midnight and I figured my girlfriend would be up in bed asleep by now. 

I carefully and quietly closed the front door behind me and put my things down on the floor and kicked off my shoes, the sound of the tv in the living room caught my attention.

When I entered the room I smiled at the sight of Y/n on the couch sound asleep with the remote in her hands but It was starting to slip out of her fingers so I carefully pulled it away.

I couldn't resist but take a moment to take how beautiful she looked, I moved a strand of her hair behind her ear and kissed her forehead. 

her eyes slowly opened "Hey baby I'm sorry for waking you up" I said and she rubbed the sleep from her eyes and yawned. 

"It's okay" I took her hand and kissed it softly before helping her up. I turned the tv off and then the lights as she walked upstairs. 

I changed into something more comfortable before I joined her under the covers, I wrapped my arm around her and pulled her closer to me.

"Did she have a good day?" Y/n asked sleepily and I smiled "yeah, it was good. But I'm happy to be home with you now go to sleep, I love you" I said stroking her hair, gently twirling it around my fingers. 

"I love you too" she mumbled and soon fell asleep in my arms.
