My girlfriend and I are currently waiting in line at our favorite ice cream shop.

Jehle was feeling a bit down today so I decided to treat her ice cream since it's her favorite.

"All right, what can I get you two ladies?" The boy working there asked us "I'll have y/I/f" I said, and looked at Jayla "I don't want anything" she mumbled and I sighed "she'll get chocolate" I said.

Chocolate is her favorite flavor

I paid for our ice creams and handed her hers "I don't want it" she said "but I already bought it" I said "baby I wanna go home" she whined "after ice cream"

"Jayla I swear if you didn't eat your ice cream I'm gonna be upset with you" "but I don't want ice cream" "yes you do, you were talking about getting ice cream the whole day and after your little fight with Kaylee you didn't want any"

"Yes because I'm upset" "I know you are and ice cream can help with that" I said and she shook her head "look how about after we finish our ice creams I'll take you home and we can cuddle the whole day" I said and her eyes sparkled "deal!"

Jayla took her ice cream and hummed at how delicious it is "your right ice cream helps" she said and I smiled at her.

She's so cute I love her.

We walked hand-in-hand around the mall, talking about our day while eating our ice creams and as soon as we were done, Jayla was excited to go home.

We reached her house, and she pulled me upstairs to her room, we got in bed and she laid on top of me, resting her head on my chest.

I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her head "do you want to talk about the fight you  and Kaylee had?" I asked, and she shook her head.

"Maybe after our nap" she said "we're taking a nap?" I asked and she nodded "okay"

Jayla raised her head and looked at me "what?" I asked "I love you" she said making me smile again "and I just want to remind you how beautiful you look today" she said and I blushed making her giggle.

She kissed my lips and laid her head back down on my chest, tightening her grip around me.

I got butterflies in my stomach and felt so happy knowing I had the right person in my arms.
