I was in my favorite café with my laptop out and writing my English essay when someone tapped my shoulder.

I turned around to see a pretty girl holding flowers.

"Hi sorry if I'm disturbing you right now, but I'm handing flowers to people and you seem like a really nice person so here you g she said handing me a beautiful red rose.

"Oh..thank you" I said a bit surprised "okay umm I guess I'll go now" she said and before I could ask her name she had left.

I sighed and went back to writing the stupid essay that I was supposed to be handing it today and had a full week to finish but remembered it today.

3 hours later and I was done

I couldn't believe it I'm finally done, so quickly I pack up my stuff and get up off the chair. I've been sitting on it for hours.

Literally, I feel my butt thanking me

I paid for the food and drinks. I had here and left the place.

Walking back I noticed a girl sitting on the bench waiting for the bus and immediately I recognized her.

That's the girl who gave me the rose

I walked toward her and sat next to her, she looked up from her phone and smiled at me "hey it's you again" "hi yea it's me"

"I'm Jayla by the way" "hi Jayla I'm Y/n" "Y/n that's a pretty name" I said and she blushed.

"Thank you, Jayla is a pretty name to" "thank you...so..Y/n what are you'd king here?"

"What do you mean?" "I don't know why I asked you that" I laughed "okayyy" she giggled confused and I felt my cheeks heat up in embarrassment.

"Did you like the rose?" She asked "yea it's so pretty, I'm delighted you give it to me" "of course I'm glad you liked it"

"Why were you giving out flowers?" I asked "I don't know actually..I just felt like today was a nice day and wanted to do something nice" "Oh..that's so nice of you Y/n" "thank you"

Y/n and I talked for a while till the bus came and she got up "hey you coming?" She asked and I shook my head "my house is actually really close to here so I'll walk"

"Oh..so why did you sit here then?" "To talk to you" I said "oh..that was really nice of you" she said "it was really nice talking to you. I really hope we keep in contact" I said and she took out her phone.

"Let me give you my snap, we can talk there" she said and I quickly took photos of her Snapchat code and added her.

"Okay I got to go, Jayla, byeee it was nice meeting you" she said getting on the bus. I waved to her as it started moving and she waved back even blowing me a kiss.

I went back to the house feeling all bubbly inside. I couldn't wait and texted her.
