. . . all because of me. "(Y/A/N)!" Jayfeather's worried yowl rang through the two-leg area.

"Jayfeather!" the (F/C) cat mewled, but  muffled by the catnip. "Argh! It hurts!" the white tom, Casper hissed. They dropped the herbs and pawed some cobwebs from in between the bracken then cautiously approached Casper, wincing in pain from their new scars. The apprentice placed the cobwebs on one of Casper's open wounds, but before they could think, the bigger tom landed a blow on them. A very faint yowl of their name was heard before they fell unconsious. Jayfeather!

Casper POV

So the little cat wasn't trying to hurt me after all. They were trying to heal me. I realised some moments later because I saw that my wounds were healing faster. I carefully picked up (Y/A/N), what the other 'Jayfeather' called them, and put them on the softer grass outside the tunnel, dropping the leafy plants on them. "(Y/A/N)!" I heard the same cry as before. A blue tabby emerged from the forest, his icy blue eyes looking straight, but flooded with emotions. "You, Jaywhatever cat!" I called and the blind tom cautiously came foward then opened his muzzle slightly. "Y-you, g-get away from (Y/A/N)!" he stuttered. I chuckled. "Fine, fine. Go get your precious." I sneered. "They are a good healer, put cobwebs on my wounds. Jaywhatisit took the little (F/C) cat and herbs and bounded away. "Bye (Y/A/N)." I muttered. I looked at the sky, it was filled with stars and they shone more brighter than before.
(End of POV)

"Hold on there (Y/A/N)! Just for a while, please!" Jayfeather wailed, but muffled by fur and herbs. The tabby tom weaved through the trees, his strides wide.

The tabby tom slid through the bramble tunnel of ThunderClan camp. "Jayfeather!" Lionblaze greeted, but he was ignored. The sightless cat laid his apprentice on the moss, ignoring murmurs of worried cats outside. "Hold on, hold on." he repeated continuously. "Jayfeather? Oh no, (Y/A/N)!" Briarlight was shocked. "Y-yeah, get me some herbs. Hurry!" the tom replied, licking dried scarlet blood from (F/C) fur. "Get me some marigold polutice!" Jayfeather called to Briarlight. "Okay." a muffled mew came. "Oh, (Y/A/N). I'm so sorry!" Jayfeather dugged his nose into his apprrentice's fur. "I love you so much. . ." it was barely a whisper.

"I got your herbs and polutice." Briarlight mewed again. "Can I help apply politice?" she asked. "S-sure." Jayfeather sighed. Briarlight took the polutice which was wrapped in a leaf and applied the chewed herbs onto (Y/A/N)'s smooth pelt. Jayfeather put horsetail ontop of the marigold polutice patches and dabbed cobwebs to seal the wounds. "Okay," he breathed. "Now all we can do is wait. . ."

"Jayfeather, why won't you come out of the den? At least eat some mouse with me!" Lionblaze pleaded. It was two sunrises since (Y/A/N)'s accident. The (F/C) furred cat hasn't woke up yet and Jayfeather has been getting more anxious. "I don't feel like eating." Jayfeather hissed. The blue tabby was curled up with the unconsious cat.

"Jayfeather, eat. Please. We don't want a sick medicine cat, do we?" Briarlight urged. "For (Y/A/N). She wouldn't want you catching greencough." the brown she-cat dropped a mouse between his paws. "Fine." the blue tabby sighed roughly and bent his head to taste the mouse, only then realising how hungry we was. "Thanks Briarlight." he thanked before turning back to (Y/A/N). The apprentice was barely breathing. Their flank rose a little then fell for a long time. Please wake up!

Darkness covered the sky, filled with the beautiful twinkling stars of Silverpelt. The blue tabby medicine cat curled up next to (Y/A/N), his his mind focusing on the (F/C) cat.

He was in a lush forest. Golden beams of sunrays weaved through the leaves. Ahead was a clearing with flowers and then a stream beside it. A young cat with pretty (F/C) and well-groomed (F/L) fur. When they turned around their (E/C) lit up brighter than the sun itself. "Jayfeather!" they bounded to the tom and nuzzled him with affection. He tensed because no one did that to him since Hollyleaf died in the tunnels and he wasn't used to it. "H-hi (Y/A/N)" he stammered, his pelt heating up in embarrestment. The apprentice smiled and purred. "Race you back to camp!" she laughed and sped off, running almost as fast as a WindClan cat. The tom stifled a mrrow but failed miserably, then chased them.

As they reached the camp clearing, (Y/A/N)'s smile faded and they stood there for a long time. "What's wrong?" Jayfeather asked. "Its. . . its. . ." then they broke into tears. "n-no one notices me anymore. Its like they can't see me. Like I didn't exist! N-not even Briarlight or my littermates. . . not even. . . y-you." they sniffled. Their (E/C) orbs grew dull and filled with tears. "I feel so alone, Jayfeather. . . I feel so afraid. I don't even know if I'm alive or not! I haven't even seen any StarClan cats. I. . ." they dug their muzzle into Jayfeather's fur. "I-I don't want to die." they sniffled. "No, (Y/A/N), you will wake up one day. You have to!" the blue tabby rested his tail on their shoulder. "You're still healing, you need time." he mewed, hoping it was true. "Jayfeather!"

"Jayfeather!" he heard his name being called and woke up into darkness. "Hm?" he yawned. "Is everything alright? You were mumbling in your sleep!" The voice belonged to Briarlight. "O-oh yeah, just a bad dream. Not important." he mewed and gotten up from his nest to go outside. Briarlight was confused, Jayfeather had not went out of the den for a few days since (Y/A/N)'s incident.

"Jayfeather, you're outside at last!"
"Was everything fine?"
"You didn't come out for a long time!"
"We were worried!"
"Where's (Y/A/N)?" Dustpelt demanded.
That question hit him hard. "(Y/A/N). . . they are wounded badly. They are still alive, but wouldn't wake up." he sighed. Murmurs filled the hollow. "How? They weren't hurt by a badger or fox right?" his brown striped tail lashed. "What's going on down there?" a clear voice rang through the camp. A ginger tom sat at the Highledge. "I would like to see (Y/A/N) please. Dustpelt can follow me." he leaped down to Jayfeather and padded to the medicine den.

"W-we were collecting catmint for leaf-bare then rouges came and attacked us. (Y/A/N) tried to fight one off but she got wounded badly." he told. "Then how are you left without a scratch?" Dustpelt hissed. "I was running, I thought they were right behind me!" he wailed softly.

Yay 1k words! ^^
