"The last time was exactly that.", Salo emptied his glass and immediately asked for more. "The last time."

Like him, you also emptied your glass and asked for a refill. Wordlessly, the servant poured you both a drink, wisely refilled the bowls with snacks and then let his master send him away with a wave of his hand.

Warm light briefly fell from the corridor into your balcony, then the door was closed again and you two were completely alone. Half bored and half amused by the bitterness in his words, you grabbed a few nuts.

"At least one thing we can agree on.", you looked at a peanut between your fingers. "I think we were both... not quite satisfied with our connection."

His thin shoulders stiffened under red and white silk. You could still remember how bony they had felt under your fingers. Salo had wanted to take the lead back then but had had absolutely no experience.

What could have been an exciting affair had been more than disappointing. So much so that you two couldn't look at each other now without spite.

Nevertheless, you were smart enough to know that you needed allies. And since you were already very familiar with each other, at least the business side had been preserved.

All at once you wondered what it would be like with Jayce.

Was it possible to control a man that size?

Your eyes jumped up.

Would you be able to make him squirm between your fingers?

Suddenly your mind wandered away and you wondered what he was hiding under that nice suit. Muscles, probably.

But what else?

Heat chased through your head and even though you were embarrassed, you couldn't ignore the throbbing that was growing between your legs. Your cock pressed lightly against the fabric of your trousers.

"What else do you know?", you turned back to Salo to sort out your thoughts again.

But Jayce and your idea of him had already done something to you and even the silky blonde hair of the man next to you couldn't change that.

Although you loathed him, you wouldn't complain if Salo tried to undo your little quarrel now. Somehow the thought of him kneeling in front of you, his eyes red and the black mascara smeared across his cheeks made your blood boil.

A little love-hate never hurt anyone.

Perceptive as he was, his thin eyebrows raised.

"Since when have you been interested in rumours about yourself?", he asked.

You rolled your eyes.

"Obviously never.", you pointed up to Jayce and Mel's balcony. "Rumours that are useful to us."

Sceptically, he followed your gesture. Like Jayce, Salo had green eyes, not the same shade, but brighter, more poisonous. Almost like those of a cat lurking in the dark for mice.

"She's not above anything.", he muttered and took another sip of wine.

"We knew that already.", you leaned back in your chair and crossed your legs.

The throbbing had developed into an annoying pulling. Nevertheless, your mind cleared up again. Maybe it was just because you hadn't met anyone you liked for a long time.

Sure, Jayce Talis was really nice to look at. But the way he behaved around you was just as interesting. You liked it when there was a slight blush on his cheeks and he couldn't meet your eyes. His voice was engaging and what he had to say was anything but boring.

"The old Kiramman is angry with Medarda because she knows that our pretty Noxian can give him something she doesn't have.", Salo leaned closer to you, a smirk on his curved lips.

His warm breath tickled the side of your neck. You had to take a deep breath and closed your eyes.

Then, all at once, your hand shot up and wrapped itself around his slender neck. Surprised, he stiffened as you pulled him closer to you with a smug smile.

"I never thought you'd be so interested in a woman and her weapons.", you purred, your lips hovering so close to his that it made your scalp tingle.

Inhaling sharply, he grinned back. His hand wrapped around your wrist and squeezed it.

"We both know how dangerous their weapons can be.", he returned, tilting his head slightly.

A strand of his bright blonde hair came loose. Caught by the movement, your eyes jumped there.

"Even if she's fucking him, that doesn't mean he's devoted to her.", you thoughtfully caught the strand with two fingers and almost tenderly pushed it back behind his ear.

Your blood boiled. He was right there, right in front of you. And he even seemed to be offering himself. All you had to do was reach out and take what you wanted.

But was he really what you wanted?

Salo of all people?

No, you both knew this wasn't love but excitement. Two enemies who wanted to taste each other's poison. There was nothing wrong with that. But you didn't want to be associated with him if you were a councillor.

Then again, there was plenty of time before then.

"Look at him again.", he purred, his thumb caressing the back of your (S/C) hand. "He is weak. Inexperienced. Easy pray for all of us."

"And we're stupid, Salo.", your eyes narrowed but you couldn't help but continue to hold his neck.

You wanted to squeeze it, to listen to him gasp until his eyes rolled back. If you hadn't seen it with your own eyes, you would have been convinced that he would never allow it.

But Salo looked amused. As if he was actually enjoying this moment.

The twitching between your legs only continued to grow. By now it felt unbearable. Salo smiled sweetly.

And just like the first time, you simply couldn't resist. Hungry, or perhaps frustrated, you pulled him towards you.

Your lips met and within a few seconds his tongue was in your mouth. He tasted of wine and nuts. Thin hands wandered over your chest.

Heat was burning in your head. Lust made your flesh grow hard.

But before any mistakes could be made, there was a sudden knock at the door. Torn from your trance, you parted, lips swollen and breathing heavily.

A curse slipped off your tongue.

"Come in!", you shouted.

Salo pouted.
