Nya left the room leaving us to change out of our pjs. She said she had breakfast ready and waiting.

Kai was super excited he kept on reminding us that it was his birthday today as he dressed.

I rolled my eyes. We know, hothead, we know.

Anyway, I eagerly grabbed some jeans and, of course, a blue tee-shirt. I threw them on and took out my blue hoodie from the closet. It's cold today so I'm gonna where my hoodie. I slipped it on. There done. Now for breakfast.

I saunter out of our room and into the kitchen, leaving my teammates to finish changing. I ignored the nearby elephant noise coming from the game room, even though I was curious on what was making that noise as I entered the kitchen. I carefully placed some bacon and eggs that, Nya made, on my plate and sat down next to Zane.

"Hey Zaney!" I greeted. "Are you ready for the party!?"

Zane just grunted.

Huh, what's wrong with him? I know he's grumpy and all but he doesn't have to take it out on little ol' me!

I elbowed him playfully, after I took a bite of my eggs. "You wanna know what I got for Kai!?"

Silence.

"Well I got him a..." I glanced around the room making sure no one else but Zane was here. I whispered in Zane's ear what I got for Kai. I snorted and slapped my knees afterward. "Isn't it perfect!?"

Zane nodded. "Sure."

"That's it that's all your gonna say?"

"What else is there to say?" He growled.

I leaned back in surprise. Zaney what has gotten into you?

"Well, sorry." I said dragging out the 'E' sound. Before muttering, "someone got up on the wrong side of the bed today."

Zane looked at me sharply before he opened his mouth to rebuke me. But he closed it probably thinking the better of it.

Cole entered the room dressed in an old disco suit. "Who's ready to party!"

I looked at Cole up and down. Seriously Cole? Disco?

He was wearing these black boot things that have heels with black cowboyish type pants. His shirt was a black long sleeve shirt with random dots of yellow everywhere. He was also wearing black shades, and a poofy hairdo.

Where did he get that wacky outfit?

Cole did this little jig in the kitchen. "Tadaaaaa! Like it?" He asked. Then quickly added "It used to be my dads."

Okaaaaaay.

"Sure." Zane said sounding bored.

I nodded.

Cole beamed.

"Okay, where's the food!?" Lloyd exclaimed stepping into the kitchen. His eyes bulged when he saw Cole. "Dude, I love what you done with your hair. How did you get it to come out of your nostrils like that?"

I snorted.

Cole rolled his eyes, "Hey, Lloyd remember when I asked for your opinion?"

Lloyd opened his mouth to speak, but Cole cut him off.

"Yeah, me neither."

I took a bite of my bacon, forcing myself not to laugh. I kept my eye on Cole and Lloyd, watching them throw insults to each other. They always seem to be arguing. But hey, it's not my problem! I'm usually just around for the shows.

Arguing, Cole and Lloyd grab their food and sit down across from Zane and I. They stopped abruptly when Kai ran into the kitchen.

"Guys, guys, it's my BIRTHDAY!" He yelled doing a boogie.

I rolled my eyes. Here we go again.

"We know Kai you told us about a hundred times in thirty minutes." Lloyd commented stabbing his fork in some eggs.

Cole nodded in agreement.

Kai ignored them. Whistling he grabbed his breakfast and sat down on the other side of Zane.

"Heya, Nindroid!"

Zane dipped his head in acknowledgement. "Happy Birthday Kai." He stated then he stood from the table. "Now if you excuse me I have to wrap your birthday present." He left.

Nya entered the room passing Zane. She gave him a weird look before silently she grabbing her own food and sitting down next to me.

As soon as Kai knew Zane left the room he asked, "what's up with him?"

I shrugged. "I don't know, but remember what Nya said. Apparently this 'who' person forgot something of the utter most importance. And it's bugging Zane."

Cole nodded. "Yeah."

Lloyds iPhone buzzed making a lady with an Australian accent speak, "Reminder, reminder!"
Lloyd took out his green iPhone from his pocket and glanced down at it. He face turned white.

Kai noticed this, "what is it Lloyd?" He asked.

Cole leaned over, snatched the iPhone out of Lloyds hands and scanned through what ever was on it. Lloyd didn't protest. "Oh, no."

"What? What Is it?" Nya asked.

I comanded. "Just tell us already!"

"Yeah." Kai agreed.

Cole gulped. "Well, I think I know why Zane is upset."

"Why?" Kai and I asked simultaneously.

"It's Kai's Birthday." He paused. "And it's Zane's."

Silence filled the room.

Lloyd banged his head on the table making our plates full of food bounce. "How can we be so dumb? We forgot our brother's birthday!"

As Lloyd kept on beating himself up. Kai exclaimed. "That's right I remember finding out that we had the same birthday! Man, that day was cool." He grew silent.

Cole moaned. "I don't even have a present for him!"

We all froze at that. Silence filled the room until Nya spoke,
"None of us have a present."

More silence.

"What are we gonna do?" I moaned. 

What are we going to do?

We all glanced at each other determination lined everyone's faces. What ever we're going to do, we are going to fix this.
