Part Three
The following day, the Crew gathered in their hideout, going over Kieran's plan one last time. The tension from the previous day still lingered, but all of that took a backseat to the task at hand. Super leaned against the wall, arms crossed, while Jay paced back and forth.
Super: So, what's the big plan? We storm the place, punch Jordi in his smug face, and call it a day?
Kieran: *with a calm smirk* Not quite.
He unrolled another map onto the table, pointing to a central location in the city.
Kieran: Jordi's holding his event at a downtown venue. It's set up like a big press conference, but his whole gimmick is shocking reveals, right?
Shotzi: *nodding* Yeah, he thrives on drama.
Kieran: Exactly. He's planning something big, and if the intel I gathered is correct, it's a public revelation of spoilers about this... *glancing at Jay* Jay's Escapade.
Jay stopped pacing, his eyes narrowing.
Jay: How does he even know about that?
Kieran: He doesn't. Not everything, anyway. But he's got enough scraps of information to do damage. And let's face it, people love to watch a trainwreck.
Super: *grinning* Joke's on him. Nobody ruins Jay's Escapade except us.
Jay: *glaring* Thanks for the support.
Bam-Bam: *swinging his legs while sitting on the table* So what do we do? Smashy-smash?
Kieran: *ignoring Bam-Bam's enthusiasm* Jordi's main draw is the spectacle. If we disrupt the event before he can make his big reveal, he loses his audience, his momentum, and his credibility.
Jay: And how do we do that?
Kieran: *smirking* Leave that to me. You just have to make sure his supporters don't get in the way.
Super: *raising an eyebrow* Sounds easy enough.
Shotzi: *leaning forward* What's the catch?
Kieran: *pausing* His supporters won't just sit back and let you walk in. Jordi's got a whole crowd of sycophants ready to defend him.
Jay: Great. So we're dealing with a mob of wannabe journalists.
Kieran: *with a shrug* More like hired security.
Jay: Even better.
Bam-Bam: *cheerfully* I can take 'em!
Super: *grinning* I don't doubt that, kid.
Jay: Alright, fine. We handle the goons, you handle Jordi. But if this goes south, we're doing it my way.
Kieran: *smirking* Deal.
---
Later that evening, the Crew arrived near the venue. The area was bustling with reporters, fans, and curious onlookers. A stage had been set up in front of a massive screen, where Jordi Dynamite was expected to make his grand announcement.
Jay scanned the crowd, his jaw tightening.
Jay: He really pulled out all the stops, didn't he?
Super: *grinning* This guy loves attention almost as much as you do.
Jay: *glaring* You're not helping.
Bam-Bam: *bouncing excitedly* Ooh, ooh! Can I go on stage?
Shotzi: *smirking* Let's save the grand entrance for later, Bam-Bam.
Kieran: *focusing on the stage* Alright, everyone knows the plan. Stick to it.
Jay: *crossing his arms* You're really taking charge, huh?
Kieran: *without looking at him* Someone has to.
Jay: *mutters* I hate this guy.
As the lights dimmed and the crowd's chatter grew quiet, Jordi Dynamite stepped onto the stage, wearing his trademark flashy suit and smug grin. He held a microphone in one hand and a tablet in the other, basking in the attention.
Jordi: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome! Tonight, I bring you the scoop of the century!
The crowd erupted in cheers. Jay clenched his fists, glaring at the stage.
Jay: *through gritted teeth* Someone shut this guy up.
Kieran: *calmly* Patience.
Jordi: *gesturing dramatically* I have exclusive, never-before-seen information about one of the most controversial figures in the world today: Jay Toyota.
Super: *grinning* Controversial, huh? Look at you, big guy.
Jay: *snapping* Shut up.
Jordi: *continuing* But first, let me tell you a little story...
Kieran: nodding to the Crew Now.
Jay: Finally.
With that, the Crew sprang into action, weaving through the crowd toward the stage.
[TITLE CARD: JAY'S ESCAPADE: 1-YEAR ANNIVERSARY!]
The Crew pushed their way through the dense crowd, but it was no use. The throng of cheering fans created an impenetrable wall of excitement. Jordi Dynamite, oblivious to their presence, continued his grandiose monologue.
Jordi: And this story... oh, this is one for the ages! A tale of betrayal, of secrets, and of a man who thought he could keep his skeletons in the closet!
Jay: *gritting his teeth* This guy is insufferable.
Shotzi: *trying to shove past a group of fans* Move it, people!
Super: *laughing* Yeah, because yelling at them is working so well.
Kieran: *gritting his teeth* We need to figure out a way through this mess.
Bam-Bam: *yelling to a random fan* Hey, do you have any candy?
Jay: *snapping* Bam-Bam, focus!
Jordi: *on stage, soaking in the applause* Thank you, thank you! Now, where was I? Ah, yes! You see, ladies and gentlemen, Jay Toyota has been hiding something... something explosive!
The crowd erupted into more cheers and gasps. Jay looked like he was about to explode.
Jay: *muttering* I'm going to kill him.
Super: *smirking* Not if the fans trample him first.
Shotzi: *elbowing her way forward* We're wasting time! Kieran, you said you had a plan!
Kieran: *glaring* My plan didn't account for this many sheep.
Jordi: *dramatically pointing to the screen behind him* And now, I present to you the truth! Prepare to have your minds blown!
The screen flickered, and the crowd hushed in anticipation. Jay looked back at the others, panic creeping into his voice.
Jay: We have to stop him, now!
Super: *shrugging* You got a jetpack hidden somewhere?
Bam-Bam: *excitedly* Ooh, jetpacks are cool!
Jay: *glaring* Not helping, Bam-Bam.
Kieran: *gritting his teeth* Just keep pushing forward. He's not as untouchable as he thinks.
Jordi: grinning Oh, this is going to be good. You're all going to see Jay Toyota for what he truly is-
Before he could finish, the screen suddenly glitched, static overtaking the image. Jordi froze, blinking in confusion.
Jordi: Uh... what's happening?
Jay: *raising an eyebrow* What the-
Super: *grinning* Guess someone upstairs likes us.
Kieran: *narrowing his eyes at the stage* Or someone else is interfering.
The crowd murmured in confusion, their cheers dying down as the screen remained a mess of static. Jordi fiddled with the tablet in his hand, his frustration growing.
Jordi: No, no, no! This was supposed to be my moment!
Jay smirked.
Jay: Looks like karma's ahead of schedule.
The static on the screen abruptly cleared, replaced by the image of two familiar figures. Citizen_Soldier16, clad in his black shirt with the DKVCU Logo on it, stood confidently with his arms crossed. Beside him was UCS754, in the same attire, leaning casually against an alleyway wall, a mischievous grin on his face.
Citizen_Soldier16: Ah ah ah... wait just a second, buster.
UCS754: Ya, not so fast. You're gonna have to try harder than that to slander my bro's name.
The crowd collectively gasped, murmuring amongst themselves as Jordi Dynamite froze in his tracks.
Jordi: *stammering* Wh-what is this? Who are you people?
Citizen_Soldier16: leaning toward the camera Just two guys who don't take kindly to liars.
UCS754: *pointing directly at Jordi* Especially ones who try to smear our friend's reputation for cheap clout.
The Crew, still stuck in the crowd, exchanged bewildered looks.
Jay: Well, they came in clutch!
Super: *laughing* I like their style, though.
Shotzi: *trying to suppress a grin* This might actually work in our favor.
Jordi: *regaining some of his composure* You think you can just hijack my event? Do you know who I am?
UCS754: *mocking* Oh, we know exactly who you are. You're Jordi Dynamite. Big mouth. Small brain.
Citizen_Soldier16: *cutting in* And you've been spreading misinformation about our pal. That ends today.
The crowd erupted in whispers, some now casting skeptical glances at Jordi. He scrambled to regain control, gesturing wildly at the tech team offstage.
Jordi: Get them off the screen! Now!
Citizen_Soldier16: *smirking* Good luck with that.
UCS754: *chiming in* We're not going anywhere until everyone here knows the truth.
The screen flickered for a moment as if someone behind the scenes was trying to remove them, but the duo's image remained steady.
Jay: *crossing his arms* Guess we owe them one.
Super: *grinning* Speak for yourself. This is better than front-row seats.
Citizen_Soldier16: Jordi Dynamite, your fifteen minutes of fame are up.
UCS754: *nodding* And if you're smart, you'll stop before you embarrass yourself further.
Jordi: *furious* You can't do this!
Citizen_Soldier16: *calmly* We just did.
UCS754: *grinning* Nice try, though.
The screen cut to black, leaving Jordi standing there, speechless and surrounded by an increasingly skeptical crowd. The murmurs grew louder, and some fans began booing.
Jay: *smirking* That went better than I expected.
Super: *mocking Jordi* "You can't do this!" Man, this guy's losing it.
Shotzi: *grinning* Now we just have to deal with the aftermath.
Kieran: *deadpan* Assuming he doesn't spontaneously combust from embarrassment.
The Crew began to push forward again, the crowd now dispersing slightly as Jordi stood onstage, desperately trying to salvage what was left of his reputation.
...
Jordi slammed his fist on the podium, his face contorted with rage as the screen behind him faded to black.
Jordi: Enough! Who do those idiots think they are?! Hijacking my event!
The crowd quieted, murmuring in confusion as Jordi's fiery outburst echoed across the venue. He scanned the crowd, eyes darting wildly, searching for someone to blame. That's when he spotted them-Jay and the Crew, finally pushing their way to the front of the mass of cheering fans.
Jordi: *pointing dramatically* YOU!
Jay stopped dead in his tracks, folding his arms and tilting his head.
Jay: Took you long enough to notice.
Jordi: *seething* You just couldn't stay out of this, could you? Always the hero, always trying to ruin me!
Super: *stepping forward with a grin* You're doing a pretty good job of that yourself, pal.
Shotzi: *mocking* Yeah, we're just here for the show.
Kieran: *dryly* Not that there's much of one left.
Jordi: *ignoring them, pointing directly at Jay* This is all your fault, Jay Toyota! You and your so-called "Crew!" You've been trying to undermine me from the start!
Jay: *shrugging* Don't flatter yourself, Dynamite. If I wanted to take you down, you wouldn't still be standing there.
Jordi's face flushed with anger, veins practically bulging as he clenched his fists.
Jordi: *yelling* That's it! You think you can just walk in here and steal my moment? This is MY event, MY stage! And I'll be damned if I let you ruin it!
Jay: *unmoved* Then do something about it.
The crowd gasped, some fans cheering for the bold challenge while others shifted uncomfortably, unsure of what would happen next.
Jordi: *gritting his teeth* Oh, I will.
He gestured to the stage crew, barking orders. The lights dimmed, and the music cut out as Jordi stepped down from the podium, advancing toward the Crew with a menacing glare.
Jordi: You want to make this personal, Toyota? Fine. Let's settle it right here, right now.
Super: *grinning* Finally, some action.
Shotzi: *cracking her knuckles* Been waiting all day for this.
Kieran: *calmly stepping forward* You're going to regret this, Dynamite.
Jay: *holding a hand up* Hold it. This is between him and me.
The Crew exchanged glances but reluctantly stepped back, giving Jay space. Jordi smirked, cracking his knuckles as he squared up with Jay.
Jordi: Big mistake, letting your friends sit this one out.
Jay: *smirking* You're about to find out how big.
The tension in the air was palpable as the two men stared each other down, the crowd erupting into cheers and chants. The stage was set, and there was no turning back.
The moment Jordi lunged at Jay, the fight erupted into chaos. Jordi's fists flew fast, each punch packing a ferocity that demanded respect. Jay barely dodged the first strike, weaving to the side and countering with a sharp jab to Jordi's ribs. The impact made Jordi grunt, but he barely flinched, following up with a knee aimed at Jay's gut.
Jay twisted out of the way, narrowly avoiding the blow. He retaliated with a spinning kick, his heel slamming into Jordi's side. The crowd roared, the impact reverberating through the room. Jordi staggered slightly but caught Jay's leg before he could fully withdraw.
Jordi: Not bad... for an amateur.
With a brutal twist, Jordi yanked Jay off balance and slammed him into the ground. Jay barely had time to roll away as Jordi's fist came down, smashing the spot where his head had been a split second earlier.
Jay scrambled to his feet, his breathing heavy but controlled. Jordi was already charging again, relentless. Jay ducked under Jordi's wild swing and landed a clean uppercut that snapped Jordi's head back. Taking advantage of the opening, Jay unleashed a rapid-fire series of punches to Jordi's torso, each strike echoing in the hall.
Jordi: *spitting blood* You're gonna pay for that.
Jordi powered through Jay's onslaught, catching one of Jay's fists mid-strike. He twisted Jay's arm painfully, forcing him down to one knee, and drove a brutal elbow into Jay's face. The blow sent Jay sprawling, blood trickling from his nose.
Jay wiped his face, gritting his teeth as he stood again. Jordi was unrelenting, moving in for the kill. Jay met him halfway, ducking low to tackle Jordi. The force of the collision sent them both crashing into a nearby stage prop, shattering it into splinters.
They rolled apart, both men scrambling to their feet. Jordi swung wildly, his fists a blur of motion. Jay blocked as best as he could, but the sheer ferocity of Jordi's attacks was overwhelming. A powerful hook caught Jay's jaw, sending him stumbling back.
Jordi: This is what you get for crossing me!
Jay growled, his adrenaline surging. He darted forward, feinting a punch to Jordi's face before pivoting and landing a kick to Jordi's knee. The move destabilized Jordi long enough for Jay to leap into the air and deliver a spinning elbow to his temple.
Jordi: *staggering, snarling* You're just delaying the inevitable!
Jordi lunged again, catching Jay off guard with a shoulder tackle. The impact drove Jay into a stack of crates, collapsing them in a loud crash. Jordi didn't stop, grabbing Jay by the shirt and lifting him like a ragdoll before slamming him into the floor.
Jay groaned in pain, trying to roll away, but Jordi stomped on his back, pinning him in place.
Jordi: *mocking* Where's all that fight now, Toyota?
Jay grunted, twisting just enough to grab Jordi's ankle and yank him off balance. Jordi toppled, giving Jay a moment to breathe. Jay climbed to his feet, swaying slightly but determined.
Jay: *panting* Still here.
Jordi laughed, a cruel sound that sent chills through the crowd.
Jordi: Not for long.
Jordi came at Jay with renewed fury, driving him back with a relentless barrage of punches. Jay blocked as many as he could, but Jordi's sheer strength was taking its toll. A devastating uppercut connected, lifting Jay off his feet and sending him crashing into the podium.
Jay coughed, struggling to rise. Jordi loomed over him, his chest heaving but his smirk triumphant.
Jordi: You should've stayed down.
Before Jay could react, Jordi grabbed him by the throat, lifting him off the ground with one hand. Jay clawed at Jordi's grip, his vision starting to blur as the lack of oxygen set in.
Jordi: You think you're better than me? You think you can stop me?
Jay's legs kicked weakly, his strength fading. Jordi tightened his grip, his eyes burning with hatred.
Jordi: Say goodbye, Toyota.
The crowd fell silent, the scene unfolding like a nightmare. Jordi's hand trembled slightly, his rage pushing him further as Jay's struggles grew weaker.
As Jordi's grip tightened around Jay's throat, a fierce cry cut through the tension.
Shotzi: Let him go, you bastard!
From the crowd, Shotzi charged, her eyes blazing with fury. She leapt onto the stage, her green hair whipping as she hurled herself at Jordi with reckless determination. With all her strength, she drove her shoulder into his side, forcing him to loosen his grip on Jay.
Jay collapsed to the floor, gasping for air, while Shotzi stood between him and Jordi.
Shotzi: You want him, you go through me first.
Jordi glared at her, his rage turning to disdain.
Jordi: Cute. You think you can stop me?
Shotzi lunged at him, her fists flying in a flurry of punches aimed at his chest and face. Jordi blocked her attacks with ease, smirking as if amused by her effort.
Jordi: You're brave, I'll give you that. But bravery won't save you.
Before Shotzi could respond, Jordi swung his arm with brutal force, catching her across the face. The impact sent her tumbling to the ground, skidding several feet before she came to a stop.
Jordi: If you weren't infected by that scum, you'd actually be a good fuck.
Jay: *hoarse, furious* Shotzi!
Jordi turned back to Jay, cracking his knuckles as if nothing had happened.
Jordi: Now, where were we?
Jay, despite his battered state, pushed himself up, his fists trembling with renewed anger. His voice was weak but defiant.
Jay: You... You're gonna regret that.
Jordi laughed, stepping toward him once more. Before Jordi could lay another hand on Jay, Johnny Cage came flying in, delivering a swift spinning kick aimed directly at Jordi's head. The force of the blow staggered Jordi, forcing him to step back as Johnny landed gracefully in front of Jay, cracking his knuckles with a cocky grin.
Johnny: You mess with one of us, you mess with all of us.
Bull: And I ain't about to miss this party.
From a distance, Bull raised his shotgun and fired a deafening blast. The slug tore through the air, aimed straight for Jordi's chest. Jordi spun at the last second, catching the shot with his bare hand, the pellets embedding into his palm but failing to penetrate his skin. He smirked, flexing his hand to let the shrapnel fall to the ground.
Jordi: Really? A gun? Against me? Cute.
Johnny: Yeah? How about this?
Johnny closed the distance with a flurry of punches, each strike faster than the last. He targeted Jordi's ribs, head, and legs, trying to overwhelm him. Jordi blocked most of the strikes with casual precision, but Johnny managed to land a hard uppercut to Jordi's jaw, snapping his head back.
Bull: Good shot, Johnny! Keep him distracted!
Bull fired another round, this time aiming for Jordi's legs. The blast hit its mark, forcing Jordi to stumble as Johnny pressed the advantage with a high kick to the temple.
Jordi: growling Enough of this!
With a roar, Jordi grabbed Johnny mid-strike, hurling him to the ground like a ragdoll. Bull tried to reload, but Jordi closed the gap with terrifying speed, swatting the shotgun from his hands.
Jordi: Guns don't scare me, big guy.
Bull snarled and swung a haymaker, catching Jordi square in the jaw. Jordi barely flinched, retaliating with a devastating punch to Bull's gut that doubled him over. Before Bull could recover, Jordi grabbed him by the neck and threw him across the stage, sending him crashing into a lighting rig with a thunderous clang.
Johnny: Bull!
Johnny charged again, his movements a blur as he unleashed every technique in his arsenal-kicks, elbows, and even a sweep to take Jordi off balance. But Jordi anticipated every move, countering with brutal efficiency.
Jordi: I'll admit, you're persistent.
He caught Johnny's next punch, twisting his arm painfully before slamming him into the ground. Johnny gasped, pain flashing across his face as Jordi loomed over him.
Jordi: Too bad it won't be enough.
Before Jordi could finish Johnny off, Bull staggered back to his feet, bloodied but determined.
Bull: Over here, you son of a bitch!
He pulled a combat knife from his boot, charging at Jordi with reckless abandon. Jordi smirked, sidestepping the attack and grabbing Bull's wrist, twisting it until the knife clattered to the ground.
Jordi: Brave, but stupid.
Jordi lifted Bull off the ground effortlessly, tossing him into Johnny, the two of them collapsing in a heap near the edge of the stage.
Jordi: Pathetic. Is this the best your crew can do?
Jay, still weak from the earlier fight, forced himself to his feet.
Jay: We're just getting started.
Jordi turned, his eyes narrowing as he prepared to deal with Jay once and for all. Jordi turned to face Jay, who was struggling to stay upright, still catching his breath. Jordi sneered, shaking his head with mock disappointment.
Jordi: You never learn, do you?
Without warning, Jordi lashed out with a devastating kick, his boot landing squarely between Jay's legs. Jay's eyes widened in agony as he crumpled to the ground, clutching his groin and wheezing in pain.
Jordi: See? You should've stayed down.
Jordi reached down, grabbing Jay by the throat with a vice-like grip and hoisting him off the ground. Jay clawed at Jordi's arm, struggling for air as Jordi's grin widened.
Jordi: Any last words before I finish this?
Before Jay could respond, a deafening roar erupted from the side of the stage. Super came charging in at full speed, his shoulder slamming into Jordi with enough force to knock him off balance. The impact sent Jordi skidding back, forcing him to release Jay, who collapsed to the ground in a heap.
Super: How about you pick on someone your own size, you smug bastard?
Jordi steadied himself, glaring at Super with growing irritation.
Jordi: And who invited you to the party?
Before Jordi could act, Kieran appeared behind him, moving with calculated precision. He swung a lead pipe, aiming for the back of Jordi's knees. The pipe connected with a sickening crack, causing Jordi to drop to one knee.
Kieran: Nobody likes a bully, Jordi.
Jordi growled in frustration, his eyes darting between the two newcomers.
Jordi: Oh, great. Now I've got the wannabe hero brigade.
Super smirked, stepping forward as Kieran stood ready with the pipe.
Super: That's right. And unlike Jay, we're not going down easy.
Jordi's grin returned, a dark glint in his eye.
Jordi: Good. I was getting bored anyway.
The standoff lasted a tense moment before Jordi lunged forward, targeting Super with a powerful haymaker. Super ducked the swing, countering with a quick jab to Jordi's ribs. Kieran seized the opening, slamming the pipe into Jordi's side, eliciting a grunt of pain.
Super: I thought you were tougher than this, Jordi.
Jordi snarled, grabbing the pipe mid-swing and yanking it out of Kieran's hands. With a roar, he swung the pipe wildly, forcing both Super and Kieran to back off.
Jordi: I'm just getting warmed up.
Kieran darted in low, sweeping Jordi's legs out from under him while Super delivered a crushing elbow to his back. Jordi hit the ground hard, but before either of them could capitalize, he rolled to his feet with a feral grin.
Jordi: This is going to be fun.
Jordi's body began to shimmer, his frame enveloped in a golden aura as the air itself seemed to vibrate with raw energy. His muscles expanded grotesquely, metallic plating encasing his limbs like armor. His transformation was violent, radiating power that forced everyone to shield their eyes from the intensity. When the light subsided, standing before them was not the man they had been battling, but a towering, god-like figure, his new golden form exuding an overwhelming aura of dominance.
Super: What the hell...?
Jordi's voice echoed, distorted and cold.
Jordi: You fools thought you could stop me? Witness true power.
Super and Kieran exchanged a glance. Kieran gritted his teeth, gripping his pipe tightly.
Kieran: We've taken down monsters before. You're just another one on the list!
Super charged in first, leaping high to deliver a crushing blow to Jordi's chest. Jordi didn't flinch. Instead, his hand shot out like lightning, catching Super mid-air by the throat.
Jordi: Predictable.
With a flick of his wrist, Jordi hurled Super into the nearest wall, the impact shattering the concrete like glass. Super fell to the ground, coughing violently as dust and debris rained around him.
Kieran roared, swinging his pipe with all his strength. The lead struck Jordi's side, the sound reverberating like metal hitting metal. Jordi turned slowly, the smirk on his golden face taunting.
Jordi: Is that all?
Before Kieran could react, Jordi delivered a crushing backhand that sent him sprawling across the ground. Blood dripped from Kieran's lip as he struggled to get back up. Jordi approached, each step shaking the floor beneath them.
Jordi: You two were outmatched the moment you stepped into this fight.
Super, battered but not beaten, climbed to his feet, determination etched on his face.
Super: Kieran, we can't let him win!
Kieran: No kidding. Got a plan?
Super charged in again, dodging Jordi's massive swings with nimble footwork, while Kieran flanked him, aiming low for his knees. The two coordinated their attack perfectly, but Jordi was faster. He caught Kieran's pipe mid-swing with one hand, crushing it into twisted scrap metal, while delivering a devastating knee to Super's ribs.
Jordi: Enough games.
With a roar, Jordi unleashed a wave of energy that sent both Super and Kieran flying. They hit the ground hard, their bodies battered and broken.
Jordi stood over them, victorious, his golden form glowing brighter as he raised his hands.
Jordi: This is the fate of all who oppose me...
Jordi raised his massive golden fist, the air trembling as the power gathered in his arm. Kieran lay sprawled beneath him, barely conscious, blood trickling from his mouth. Jordi's expression twisted into a sadistic grin as he prepared to end Kieran's resistance once and for all.
Jordi: Say goodbye, worm.
The fist came down with blinding speed
Jay: Not today!
Jay dove in from nowhere, catching Jordi's descending arm with both hands. The impact of the collision sent a shockwave through the ground, but Jay held firm, his feet digging into the floor as he absorbed the blow.
Jordi's smirk faltered.
Jordi: You again? I thought I already broke you.
Jay: You hit like a bitch.
Sweat beaded on Jay's brow as his muscles strained to hold back Jordi's overwhelming strength. His knees buckled slightly, but he refused to give in.
Jay: Kieran... get out of here. Now!
Kieran groaned, barely able to move, but he managed to crawl out of the way, clutching his ribs.
Jordi: Admirable, but foolish. You can't stop me!
With a sudden twist of his arm, Jordi flung Jay backward, sending him tumbling across the ground. Jay flipped mid-air, landing in a crouch. He wiped blood from his lip, glaring daggers at Jordi.
Jay: You talk too much. Let's see if that golden suit of yours can actually take a hit.
Jay charged forward, his fists clenched, ready to face the unstoppable force before him once more.
Jay darted forward, ducking under Jordi's swing. He pivoted around with lightning speed and drove his foot straight up between Jordi's legs with a resounding crack.
Jordi froze, his golden form stiffening, a brief flicker of disbelief crossing his face.
Jay: Yeah, not so tough now, are ya?
But instead of doubling over in pain, Jordi's eyes flared with fury.
Jordi: You think that'll work on me?
He snatched Jay by the leg before he could pull away, hoisting him high into the air like a ragdoll.
Jordi: Nice try, runt.
With a roar, Jordi hurled Jay across the battlefield. Jay slammed into a stack of chairs, scattering them in every direction. Groaning, he pushed himself up, brushing debris off his shoulders.
Jay: *smirking* Oh, I get it now. You're one of those smooth types, huh? No nuts at all. That's why you're so cranky!
Jordi's golden eyes burned with rage as he charged at Jay, his aura pulsating with raw energy.
Jordi: You're dead, Toyota!
Jay raised his fists, still grinning through the pain.
Jay: Bring it on, Goldilocks. Let's see what you've got!
Jordi lunged forward, golden energy radiating off his body, ready to pulverize Jay into the dirt. Before he could even swing, Bam-Bam barreled into him out of nowhere, candy still clutched in one hand.
Bam-Bam: *mouth full* Hey, golden boy! You don't mess with my buddy!
The sheer force of Bam-Bam's push sent Jordi skidding back across the ground, his golden aura flickering. Bam-Bam stood over him, chewing loudly, completely unfazed by Jordi's intimidating presence.
Jay: *blinking in disbelief* Bam-Bam, aren't you still eating?
Bam-Bam: *shrugging* Yeah, but this guy's way more annoying than an empty stomach.
Jordi growled, glaring up at Bam-Bam as his golden form began to surge again.
Jordi: *low and menacing* Get out of my way, you oaf.
Bam-Bam grinned, finishing the candy in his hand and cracking his knuckles.
Bam-Bam: Nah, I'm good right here. Let's dance, shiny.
Bam-Bam lunged at Jordi with excitement, his fists ready to fly.
Bam-Bam: Finally, a fight worth my time!
But before he could land the first punch, Super tackled Jordi from the side, slamming him into the ground.
Super: Round five!
Jay followed up with a running kick to Jordi's ribs, and Kieran jumped in, hurling a powerful punch aimed straight for Jordi's head.
Bam-Bam froze mid-swing, his jaw dropping, offended.
Bam-Bam: Hey! What are you guys doing? I had this!
Bull fired off a round from his shotgun, blasting Jordi in the chest and staggering him further. Johnny closed in, landing a series of quick strikes.
Bam-Bam: *throwing his hands up* Oh, come on! You're all ruining it!
Jay ducked a golden energy burst from Jordi, rolling to Bam-Bam's side.
Jay: *panting* What's the problem?
Bam-Bam: The problem is, I wanted to fight him alone! Now it's just... *gestures to the chaotic brawl* ...a group project.
Super glanced back at Bam-Bam while grappling with Jordi.
Super: *grinning* Sorry, Bam-Bam. This ain't really a solo act.
Bam-Bam sighed, crossing his arms as the Crew continued to jump Jordi.
Bam-Bam: Phooey.
Bam-Bam stood there, candy in hand, watching the chaos unfold. He sighed again, louder this time, as the Crew worked in perfect sync to overwhelm Jordi.
Bam-Bam: I really wish I could hit something!
Jordi staggered under the combined assault of Super's punches, Kieran's kicks, and Jay's relentless strikes. Bull and Johnny laid into him with their own brand of destruction. Bam-Bam groaned, visibly frustrated as the fight reached its climax.
Jay: Alright, let's finish this!
As the Crew closed in for the final blow, Bam-Bam snapped. He threw his candy bag to the ground, his voice booming over the chaos.
Bam-Bam: That's it! Enough of this group hug nonsense!
He stormed forward, shoving past Jay and Super, and cocked his fist back. With a roar, he delivered a devastating punch straight to Jordi's face, sending him flying backward like a ragdoll.
Bam-Bam: Dynamite go BOOM!
He stood there triumphantly, glaring at the camera with a proud smirk, as if to say, "This is how it's done."
Bam-Bam: *still pouting* Finally.
The Crew just stared, dumbfounded, as Bam-Bam dusted off his hands and picked his candy bag back up.
...
The Crew stood outside the maximum-security prison, the massive gates slamming shut behind them as armed guards led Jordi Dynamite away in chains. His face was bruised and swollen, his swagger long gone as he glared over his shoulder at them with pure hatred. Jay adjusted his jacket, glancing at the others.
Jay: Well, that's one more problem off our hands.
Super smirked, arms crossed.
Super: For now. Guys like him don't stay locked up forever.
Bam-Bam popped a piece of candy into his mouth, visibly unimpressed with the entire situation.
Bam-Bam: I still wanted a better fight.
Bull chuckled, patting Bam-Bam on the shoulder.
Bull: Relax, big guy. You got your punch.
Kieran leaned against the side of their vehicle, his eyes sharp as he watched Jordi being dragged further into the prison.
Kieran: Don't get too comfortable. People like him always find a way to come back swinging. Jay raised an eyebrow at Kieran.
Jay: You're awfully chatty all of a sudden.
Kieran shot him a glance, his tone sharp.
Kieran: Just saying.
Johnny hopped into the driver's seat of their truck, leaning out the window.
Johnny: Enough brooding. Let's get outta here. I don't know about you, but I could use some actual rest.
The Crew piled into the truck, leaving the prison behind as the sun began to set. Bam-Bam stared out the window, a thoughtful expression on his face.
Bam-Bam: You think they'll give him candy in there?
Jay snorted.
Jay: Not a chance.
...
The hideout was quiet, the adrenaline from the earlier fight slowly fading into an uneasy calm. The Crew scattered around the dimly lit space, some tending to their wounds, others grabbing a quick bite to eat. Jay sat on an old couch, leaning back with his arms draped across the top, his jacket tossed over a nearby chair.
Kieran approached him hesitantly, his usual standoffish demeanor softened. He stood for a moment, awkwardly shifting his weight before finally speaking.
Kieran: *clearing his throat* Hey, uh... thanks.
Jay opened one eye, looking at him with a raised brow.
Jay: For what?
Kieran: For stopping Jordi. You know... from smashing my head in like a watermelon.
Jay sat up, cracking a small grin.
Jay: Don't mention it. Can't let you get your head crushed before you tell me why you're so damn mysterious all the time.
Kieran rolled his eyes, but a faint smirk tugged at his lips.
Kieran: Maybe I'll fill you in. Someday.
Jay: Oh, I'm holding you to that.
Super, leaning against the wall nearby, chimed in with a smirk of his own.
Super: Don't hold your breath, Jay. He's got layers. Like an onion.
Bam-Bam: *from across the room, munching on a sandwich* Or a parfait. Everybody loves parfaits.
Kieran sighed, shaking his head at the crew's banter.
Kieran: *grinning slightly* You're all ridiculous.
Jay leaned back again, letting out a long breath.
Jay: And yet, you're still here. Guess that means you're one of us.
Kieran didn't respond, but the ghost of a smile lingered as he walked off to join the others. Jay watched him go, shaking his head before closing his eyes again.
Jay: One of us, whether you like it or not.
...
The next morning, the hideout was unusually quiet. Kieran and Bam-Bam stood near the entrance, their bags packed and expressions resolute. Jay leaned against the wall, arms crossed, watching them carefully. The rest of the Crew lingered behind, sensing the gravity of the moment.
Bam-Bam: So, here's the deal. You guys are great, really. But... I'm bored. These so-called "villains" you fight? shrugging They're pushovers. No challenge, no thrill.
Jay raised an eyebrow.
Jay: No challenge? Did you forget the part where Jordi Dynamite almost turned us all into dust?
Bam-Bam waved it off, chuckling.
Bam-Bam: *grinning* Eh, he was fun for a minute. But after that, it's just... predictable. Don't worry, though. I'll keep in touch. Somebody's gotta keep you losers grounded.
Super smirked from the couch.
Super: Yeah, 'cause we'd totally fall apart without your... *pauses, mockingly thoughtful* ...sweet tooth.
Bam-Bam: *mock bowing* You're welcome in advance.
Jay turned his gaze to Kieran, who was standing silently, his face unreadable.
Jay: And you? What's your deal?
Kieran adjusted his bag, his voice calm but firm.
Kieran: Jordi might be locked up, but his accomplices are still out there. Someone has to make sure they're... pauses ...dealt with. And there are others out there, bullies who prey on the weak. That's my fight.
Jay frowned, standing upright.
Jay: You sure about this? You don't have to do it alone.
Kieran: *meeting Jay's gaze* I've always worked better alone.
Bam-Bam clapped Kieran on the back, grinning.
Bam-Bam: Don't get too broody on us, man. You're still gonna be the mysterious guy with layers, even if you're out there solo.
Kieran allowed a small smirk before nodding.
Jay stepped forward, offering a hand to each of them.
Jay: You're both crazy, but you're family. Don't forget that.
Bam-Bam: *shaking Jay's hand, then pointing a finger gun at him* Family that might show up to kick your butt if things get too boring here.
Kieran: *shaking Jay's hand with a firm grip* Stay sharp, Jay.
With that, the two turned and walked out of the hideout, the door creaking shut behind them. The room fell silent for a moment before Bam-Bam's voice echoed faintly from outside.
Bam-Bam: *shouting back* "Dynamite go boom!:
Jay sighed, shaking his head with a grin.
Jay: Those two are gonna be fine... I think.
Super leaned back on the couch, folding his arms.
Super: Let's just hope they don't end up causing more chaos than the villains we fight.
Jay: *smirking* Knowing Bam-Bam? *laughs* it's not even a question.
The camera shifted upward, leaving the hideout behind as it panned to the vast blue sky. Wisps of clouds scattered lazily across the horizon, the sun shining brightly. A faint buzzing sound grew louder, and soon a small plane came into view, trailing white smoke.
The plane began to twist and turn, looping gracefully as the smoke formed into letters. Slowly but surely, the message became clear:
"HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!"
The bold words lingered in the sky, a stark contrast to the vibrant blue. The view held for a moment before fading to black.
This year had been a wild ride, but the adventure was far from over.
Author's Not3: WHAT'S UP Y'ALL! It's yours truly, SJ_SUPERRR here. As the book said, it's been a wild ride, but I'm not stopping anytime soon! 10 days from now, you'll be seeing an all-new 13 episodes of season 4.
I know that I took a bit to get this part out, but c'mon, wasn't it worth it? We got to see Jordi Dynamite get cooked, a special cameo from two of my best buds, Citizen_Soldier16 and UCS754. We also get two new heroes in this movie, one of which is another friend of mine, KieranWits. Happy Anniversary, and about Jay's Escapade's final season, while it won't be the end of my tenure writing books in the DKVCU, it will be the end of my longest-running book (besides JWF, which I don't nessacarily count). Have a good day or night, whoever you are, wherever!
