Mia signed in Frustration. She was mad at her dad, and he could rot in hell for all she cared. Because of him, she didn't have a job.

Mia said," Go to hell, dad. Because of you, I don't have a job because you closed the company building down for good. Jerkface.

Hank said," I'm sorry we had to do that. But that company was selling drugs that can kill you and the babies. I am protecting you.

Mia said," What am I supposed to do now? The Leavine Photography Company was all I had, and now it's gone. Go away, Dad. Leave.

Hank said," How about a job at the hospital?

Mia said," Well, I do have a medical degree, so that's fine with me. Thank you, dad. Sorry for getting upset with you about losing my job. I know you are trying to protect me.

Hank said," It's ok, I forgive you. I'm sorry for having to close the company for good.

Mia and Hank shared a hug, and Hank drove her to Med for her interview with Ms.  Goodwin, who is in charge of the hospital.

Sharon asked," What kind of skills do you have that could serve well at the hospital?

Mia said," I understand how to be patient with people, and I'm really good at calming people down. I'm also organized and neat.

Sharon said," You're hired, Ms. Voight. You start Monday at 9:00 am. Welcome to Med.

Mia said," Thank you, Ms. Goodwin. I promise you will not regret this.

Sharon nodded and headed back to work, and Mia texted her dad, and he took her home and then headed back to work.

With Jay Halstead and Grace Smith.

Jay was sitting at a table with his lawyer, Lincoln Casey, and he was waiting for Grace to arrive with her lawyer, Maria Howard.

Grace arrives on time with her lawyer, and Jay pulls out the girls chair for them. They sit down, and Jay pushes the chairs to the table, and then Jay sits next to his lawyer.

Maria asked," Who should have full custody of the kids? I think it should be Grace. She's their mom, after all, and she wants what's best for her kids, and they are safer her.

Grace said," I don't agree with this, Maria. I think Jay should have full custody of them. He's a great husband, and he will be a great dad to them, and he has a good job as a cop.

Jay asked," Grace, are you sure? I don't want to take them from you if you want to raise them. They need you in their life. You're their mommy. They need us together, Grace.

Grace said," I'm 100% sure, Jay. I trust you.

Jay said," Alright, Grace. I will raise them.

The lawyers wrote the information down, and Jay paid for their snacks and drinks, and everyone heads to their own homes.

Jay enters the house and hugs his mom Susana, and she hugs her son back.

Patrick Hugged Jay and Jay hugged him back, and then they decided to part the Hug.

Hyacinth hugged Jay, and Jay hugged her back, and then they decided to part the Hug.

Izzy hugged Jay and hugged her back, and then they decided to part the Hug.

Thomas Hugged Jay and Jay hugged him back, and then they decided to part the Hug.

Hyacinth serves Jay a plate of dinner, and Jay eats his dinner and does the dishes.

The family then head to their respective rooms and take showers, get dressed in PJ’S, brushed their teeth, and then head to bed.
