Chapter 9: Hank gets good news
Hank was sitting in his office, doing paperwork, and he was very exhausted.
There was a knock on the door, and it was the superintendent of the 21st police district, Cahndravati Langley. She has dark hair with green eyes wearing her work uniform. She knocked on the door gently.
Cahndravati said," Hi, how are you, Hank?
Hank said," I'm good. I just miss Erin a little bit. But enough about me. How are you?
Cahndravati said," I'm doing good. I have good news for you if you want to hear it.
Hank immediately looked interested and gave her eye contact, and she took a deep breath and gave Hank eye contact back.
Hank asked," What's the good news, Ms Langley?
Cahndravati said," Erin can come back to Chicago and get her job as a cop back. The best part is that she gets to stay in your unit.
Hank and Cahndravati hugged each other, and Hank said," Thank you for telling me.
Cahndravati said," You're welcome, Hank.
Hank and Cahndravati head their separate ways and head to their respective houses.
Hank made dinner for him and his kids and then cleaned up the kitchen and started the dishwasher, and headed to his room.
Hank said," Kids, I have something to tell you. Erin is allowed to come back here.
Anya asked," You're mean here in Chicago?
Lincoln said," That's good to hear, Dad.
Freya said," I'm excited she is allowed to come back. I hope we get to see her again.
Gianna said," I hope she comes back, dad.
Justin said," When is she coming back, dad?
Juan said," We are glad she can come back.
Hank said," I don't know if she will come back, Justin. Maybe so. It's really up to her.
Hank got a shower, dressed in PJ’S, brushed his teeth, and headed to bed for the night.
