Now that the forgotten dogs and cats had found a way free of the never ending fields of snow, they await a new journey..

RECAP
Dogs and cats were stolen from their families, homes, streets, packs and even shelters just over a year ago and taken into a lab to be testing on by an illegal scientific organization. The animals were cleaned and fed to perfect health then shipped off to an unknown location.

Dogs and cats were drugged up then placed into crates inside of multiple planes. The planes set off for days until they had to pass through some unmarked frozen land. The pilots got a blizzard warning and went off route to avoid it. The plan backfired and they hit the blizzard straight on. They crashed and the pilots died and the animals were set free into the frosty terrain.

Some formed packs and survived, hunted and fought together. Despite their differences they worked as one. Some of the animals were house pets and others lived in packs before. Some of them were strays and always had to fight for survival. Of course it was an odd sight,
dogs and cats worked together and lived in peace. Or most did. They killed bears and cougars and hunted many different things. They didn't only adapt to the territory, they adapted to each other. They taught each other strategies and tactics and something that meant much more than just that - they taught each other how to love.

But there were obviously deaths.
Some by accident, some not, some by force, some by choice.

But the ones who survived, made it..

The final plan was unknown of what the scientists were trying to do and what was happening.

But now it is clear.

The entire human race was wiped out from a sickness. If you were infected, you bled until you died. The scientists were trying to save the dogs and cats by sending them off to their laboratory. They would try and make them immune and use the medication on themselves if it worked.

And it did indeed work.

But the other cats and dogs who didn't make the final cut to begin testing were also shipped off. But they were shipped off to be testers for other medications that had a higher chance for lethality or used for hunting and protection.
Their plane crashed too.
Into Jaxville.
The abandon city became their home, they fought for survival and never stopped. Humans were nonexistent and city was theirs. They're not all aggressive but they're all extremely strong. Any city animal had enhanced strength put into them during their time in the lab to make them even stronger to protect themselves.

One of the reckless dogs, Sin, took charge of the fiercest pack in the city. He practically owns the whole city and any dog cowards at the Alpha's name. They kill other dogs for the fun of it or simply if you get on their nerves.

But they're not the only danger here.

The sickness infected some animals, the ones that the treatment didn't work on. It mutated them to become even larger than the other animals with no pupils in their eyes and just whiteness was left, causing them to be blind. Their other senses are incredibly keen though. Their jaws are strong and teeth are sharp. They have no sense of balance and none of them can climb. Staying off the ground is important to survive.
They only come out at night and attack whatever they can. Sunlight and any bright light in general causes them to wither in pain. Sometimes they'll find you and sometimes they won't. If you get bitten, you will die without proper treatment immediately.
They can't infect you but they can kill you.

How will you survive this one?

This roleplay begins however you want it too. You could be one of the dogs just finding the city with no clue of what it is or what the dangers are here (Doesn't mean you had to roleplay in Paw Prints) or you could be a dog living in the city or even one in Sin's pack.
