(Three hours earlier)

(Lex Luthor is seen fixing the weapon while he hears the news alongside his daughter.)

Rob: Details from Stryker's Island are still sketchy. Insurgent forces attacked
there nearly ninety minutes ago. What? Andre's there now? Let's go live to Andre Garcia. Andre?

Andre: Thanks, Rob. It's chaos out here. High Councilor Superman and his One Earth forces are battling waves of giant, insect-like sea creatures and a giant samurai robot. The metahumans are holding on their own. But the regular military is in disarray.

Rob: With Batman in custody is there any sign of who's directing this attack?

(After placing down his panel, Lex and Cynthia eat the pill and decides to wear the suit.)

Andre: No idea. Can't see enough from our vantage point.

Rob: Have the creatures breached the prison's defenses?

Andre: Doesn't look like it. So far the fighting is focused on the prison's
perimeter.

Lex Luthor: Seal appendage armor. Activate reactor core. Begin preflight check.

Machine: All Systems nominal. All inputs tethered. Neutral command schema now online.

Cynthia: Shinken Yellow, Luthor Cynthia! (transforms) Shodouphone! Ippitsu Soujou!

Shinken Yellow: The same, Yellow! Luthor Cynthia!

(Father and daughter head to the battlefield, but then two homing missiles come out of nowhere and chase after Lex Luthor. Shinken Yellow jumps and uses her landslicer to cut the missiles before they hit her father, but the explosion shoves her off, and she falls down.)

Shinken Yellow: Okay... I'll never make a move like this again...

(Suddenly a regime vehicle comes in as The Joker and Harley Quinn come out of it.)

Joker: Samurai Girl fell through a truck... Samurai Girl is all...

Harley Quinn: Love the color. Matches your eyes.

Joker: It is... quite spiffy...

Shinken Yellow: Unless you want Superman to succeed, step aside. Both of you.

Harley Quinn: You trying to beat Superman? Your father's bestest buddy?

Shinken Yellow: My father has gone through a lot of deceptions. Created so he could aid the Insurgency.

Joker: How about we share? (to Harley Quinn) The sword. Give it to me.

Harley Quinn: With pleasure, hon!

Shinken Yellow: I don't think so.

(While Harley Quinn proves to be worthy, Shinken Yellow didn't use her full potential as she knows that she can't take her down. Even her pie bomb that explodes at her didn't even leave a mark on her suit. The only thing Cynthia does is disarming her
weapons and push her down without injuring her. Harleen knew she has lost and gives up while Joker who was watching the battle is not amused.)

Shinken Yellow: Do yourself a favor, Harleen... Stay away from him.

(Fed up, Joker gets down from the truck and walks near Harleen.)

Joker: She can't quit, she's fired! Can't have your stink rubbing off on me.

Harley Quinn: (utterly shock) What?

Joker: Oh, don't worry. (Holds his knife) There's a generous severance package.

Shinken Yellow: JOKER!

(Joker seems to grab Harleen's hands from behind to hold her down.)

Joker: No no! Go help your father to save the world! I've got this.

(Joker was about to kill her using his knife but luckily Lex Luthor comes in and saves her by knocking him aside.]

Lex Luthor: You'll thank me for this later, Harleen.

(Deciding to take him down, Joker keeps boasting that he's indestructible as he can't be killed by anything. But Insurgent Lex manages to stun him and use his satellite and forms a fireball-energy-like to knock out Joker completely out cold.)

Lex Luthor: Maybe Superman had the right idea about you...

Shinken Yellow: You bet he had.

(While Joker was knocked out unconscious, Harleen grabs his knife that he drops and hold his collar, attempting to kill him for his betrayal.)

Harley Quinn: Try to kill me?! I'll slice that grin offa yer face!

Shinken Yellow: (calmly) Harleen. No.

Harley Quinn: He was gonna... I can't believe I fell for him again!

Lex Luthor: He knew exactly which buttons to push. It’s not your fault. It's
what he does.

(There was a moment of silence but ultimately Harleen decides not to kill him as she lets go of the knife as Lex and Cynthia walk towards her.)

Lex Luthor: You've outgrown him.

Shinken Yellow: Good.

(Just then some of the Joker Clan members came while pointing their guns at Lex and Cynthia)

Joker Clan: There they are! Over there! Back off you two!

Harley Quinn: Easy guys. They're on our side. (Then looks at Joker) Turns out he wasn't.

Lex Luthor: Take care of him. Keep him locked up this time.

Harley Quinn: That'll be the least of it. These guys'll keep causing trouble. Go get Superman.

(Then they see Black Adam and Hawkgirl. Lex Luthor shoots them down as they see Green Lantern)

Lex Luthor: Green Lantern! Go help Wonder Woman.

Green Lantern: Really?

Shinken Yellow: We'll handle these two! Go!

(Green Lantern goes to help Wonder Woman while Lex Luthor shoots Black Adam down, and Shinken Yellow faces him.)

Black Adam: So you're his daughter, huh?

Shinken Yellow: You bet.

Black Adam: Then I know where I will hit that traitor!

(They fight. Despite having a godlike strength, Black Adam found the Shinken Yellow harder to take down than he thought, mainly thanks to her father giving her the tactics of the Regime members. Then she kicks him before slashing him five times, forming a star around the king of Khandaq and it explodes, knocking him out.)

Shinken Yellow: I am not easy to be killed.

(Meanwhile, Lex Luthor is seen trying to take the Nth Metal Belt off the defeated Hawkgirl, he was punched by an oncoming Shazam who saves her just in time. He tries to attack him but Lex shields himself. Lex attacks him back only to be pushed away.)

Shazam: Since when are you with them?

Lex Luthor: Since the day Superman decided to herd us like sheep.

Shazam: He only wants what's best for us.

Lex Luthor: We aren't his playthings... And he's no god!

(Confused by Lex's betrayal, Shazam didn't give it his all to take him down. Lex was curious why he's here. Shazam tells him that back at the Watchtower, after he regain conscious he manages to find Cyborg and decides to take him out but The Flash manages to arrive just in
time to stop them while trying to explain the current situation. Cyborg
apologizes about the matter since he should have seen this coming from Slade and intends to evacuate everyone out of the Watchtower. Flash agrees and decides to calls it a temporary truce until everyone is evacuated. At first Billy was against this since he's a 'duplicate' but Flash reminds him that they're here to saves people rather than wasting time in taking down a person plus Regime Cyborg is still unconscious after many attempts in calling him. Reluctantly, Billy was forced to agree with both of them as he decides to check inside the Hall of Justice if everyone comes out safe. Soon, just after evacuating everyone out of the Watchtower with only Flash and Cyborg left, he soon heard a loud crash and finds Lex fighting against Hawkgirl. After hearing his story, Lex tells him that he's still young and needs to realize that what Superman did was wrong but Billy can't make up his mind as he does knows Superman's way is wrong but it for the good of everyone due to the death of Lois. But Lex argues about this as most people ruled under Superman's live in fear and Lois would not have agrees with his idea if she's alive. This cause Billy to came in realization that there are some truth words from him but this leaves him wide open for Lex to knock him out using his stun baton.)

Lex Luthor: No good comes from hero worship.

Lex Luthor: Status?

Machine: Internal circuitry sixty percent damaged. Flight mode is off-line.

Lex Luthor: Again? What did I miss?

(Before he gets to hear it again, he hears a loud explosion in the air,
realizing what was destroyed.)

Lex Luthor : The Watchtower?

Machine: Affirmative.

Lex Luthor: Casualties?

Machine: All personnel safely evacuated. Superman was in the blast radius but is unharmed.

Lex Luthor: Well, then. May fortune favor the foolish…

(Back in space, Regime Superman regains conscious and hears a familiar voice on Earth.)

Lex Luthor: SUPERMAN! YOUR TIME IS OVER!

(He turns around in confusion and decides to see who it is while Lex is preparing his weapon.)

Lex Luthor: E-T-A twelve seconds. I see him.

Machine: Maximum weapons range fifteen-hundred meters. Weapons lock in seven seconds.

(Shazam regains conscience, and tries to prevent Lex Luthor from shooting the weapon, but Shinken Yellow cuts his arm, causing him to scream in pain. Then Lex Luthor successfully shoots Regime Superman down, much for Shazam's shock. Then the duo approaches the defeated Regime Superman.)

Superman (Regime): (weakly) Why? Why did you... betray me?

Lex Luthor: Who betrayed whom?

Superman (Regime): I gave... I gave them peace!

Shinken Yellow: Peace? You kill anyone who opposes or questions you, and you call this peace? (scoffs) What a joke!

(Then Hawkgirl gets up, sees her boss down and in a fit of rage charges at Lex Luthor.)

Shinken Yellow: DAD, WATCH OU...

(Shazam furiously shocks Shinken Yellow as Hawkgirl tackles Lex Luthor, and breaks his suit with her Mace before killing him by swinging her mace in his head.)

(Back to Regime Superman, he hears many distrust voices and ultimately screams in anger as Hawkgirl takes him away, leaving Shazam shocked about this. Then he looks at Shinken Yellow and a tear falls off his eye.)

Shazam: Sorry...

(Then Shazam leaves as Cynthia barely gets up. But then Winter Soldier comes in, helps her up and takes her with him in his bike as both return to the Insurgency Base.)

(The plan worked, but not without a price. Lex Luthor is dead.)
