(at the abandoned arena)

we see an ursa's claw trying to ''claw'' at mooncake, who moved out of the way and as it started to lunge at mooncake, he obliterated it using his laser powers at the grimm disintegrated and stevil announced this to the audience

stevil: to the ones who live, for the ones who die.

he said as more grimm start coming out of the cages and started attacking mooncake, the first one to attack was a geist possessing a bunch of rocks to make a body, but mooncake killed it

then a beowolf, who mooncake killed by shooting his laser mouth through it's chest as it fell to the ground as it started to vanish

then another smashed mooncake with it's left paw, but he burned a hole through it and killed the ursa as stevil spoke again

stevil: the more you kill, the more the 12 titans beyond rejoice.

he said as mooncake saw the carnage he caused

(in the mind trap)

we see the gary's group land on a surface as avocato got up and said

avocato: guys, we need to wake up. close your eyes.

gary: you want me to wake up by closing our eyes?

quinn: that makes no sense at all.

avocato: nothing makes any sense in here!

derrick: oh, that's a good point.

gary: agreed, ok everyone, close your eyes.

he said as they began to close their eyes, but opened them as gary heard a familiar voice

???: hi son.

the voice was heard and as gary turned around, he sees his and jaune's dad, john goodspeed

gary: dad?

john: it's been a long time, son. come here and give your dad a hug.

gary: is it really you?

he said as he started to walk over there, but stopped as quinn said this as she placed her hand on his shoulder

quinn; gary, that's not him.

avocato: quinn's right, it's part of the trap.

john: don't listen to them, son.

derrick: you need to trust us, even quinn.

avocato: he's right, that's not your dad, he isn't real.

they said as two figures show up in front of them, they are little cato and a girl with the same skin color as derrick, this is derrick's dead girlfriend, heidi

little cato: are we going home dad?

heidi: are you going to take me to our date now, sweetie?

avocato: (gasp)

derrick: (tears in his eyes) heidi?

he said in disbelief

avocato: trust me guys, we need to wake up.

quinn: he's right gary.

she said as gary looks at his dad and derrick looks at heidi, who are both smiling and gesturing to them ''come here'' with their arms

gary: i don't want to wake up.

derrick: same here, buddy.

they said as avocato and quinn stopped them as they said

avocato: then you're really not gonna want this.

quinn: i'm sorry gary, but we have to wake up.

they said as they punch them and everything starts to break apart, literally, and now they're free from the lazarus trap as gary said

gary: WE'RE OUT!!!!! derrick and i saved us.

quinn: umm, no me and avocato saved you two.

derrick: and you, me.

avocato: no, you didn't.

gary: but we did.

???: gary!!!!

as they heard the voice, they turn around and see team JNPR running towards them as jaune said

jaune; gary, why haven't answered my calls, i've been trying to reach you all day.

avocato: we got stuck in a lazarus trap.

nora: a what now?

quinn: long story, but...(then realizes) where's ruby's team?

phyrra: well long story short, the white fang caused this attack...

ren: and they had help.

quinn: who helped those terrorists!?

jaune: you're not gonna like it, especially gary.

gary: what do you mean?

ren: while you were in that trap, we checked on the surveliance camera's and saw...these guys helping the white fang, but we also found out that this wasn't an attack at all.

phyrra: it was a trap, to get mooncake for some reason.

derrick: well what was it, who helped the white fang?

he asked as jaune activated a hologram, showing who helped the white fang as gary's group widened their eyes in shock at what they're seeing

avocato: that's one of the lord commander's soldiers.

derrick: wait, as in the guy who ripped gary's arm off with his mind?

gary: the one and only, i still got a bone to pick with that fun-sized devil!!!

jaune: well if you want your revenge gary, come on. i found out where blake and her team are.

avocato: how do you know that?

nora: he tracked her scroll.

jaune: yes, i'll explain why once we get moving...NOW!!!!!

he yelled as they start heading towards blake's location as the screen went dark
