Previously on chapter 13

Quinn: ok, it all started after i got arrested by chuck.

Jaune: you mean douche canoe?

everyone, including Blake & Velvet, started laughing after their commander/boyfriend said that about chuck

(Derreck POV, location: Near SDC Mine)

Derreck: ok, once we get to the sdc mine the commander ordered us to go to, we rescue every single one of the faunas slaves and offer some of them a spot in the infinity guard, is that understood?

Troops & SAMES: SIR YES SIR!!!!!!

Derreck: music to my ears.

he said as he smirked

(Location: SDC mine)

at the SDC Mine, the faunas workers are tired and can't have broke since the chief ordered them to get more dust resources for the schnee dust company. the slaves have been sweating like water fountains like there's no break time or when they can rest after work.

outside of the building, two atlasian guards are standing at the entrance when suddenly...

BOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!

the guards and slaves heard the explosion and realized it came from the entrance. they then saw infinity guard troops, SAMES, and mechs coming inside of the slave camp and the guards started to open fire as a response. but it was a big mistake as the mechs used their machine guns to fire at most of the guards, killing them. the sirens go off as it alerted the SDC mine of the attack as the Atlasian guards and AK-200s are headed to defend the dust mine. 

a few infinity guard dropships landed and deployed troops, Sames, mechs, and vehicles for the rescue/attack. multiple SAMES fired at the AK-200s as they fell to the ground in pieces while some of the Atlasian guards charged at the sames but ended up getting killed when the Sames activated their sword hands, slashing them to the ground. the battle was so fierce that the faunas slaves went to a hiding spot to avoid the gunfire.

(An intense 30 minutes of firing later)

after the battle, the faunas went out of their hiding spot when they heard Derreck's voice

Derreck: FELLOW FAUNAS, YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT US, WE ARE TO FREE YOU FROM THESE ATLAS JAGOFFS!!!!!!!

the faunas were whispering to each other of why a bunch of humans rescued them with tech and weaponry that's so advanced than atlas 

Faunas Slave 1: why should we believe you?

Female Faunas Slave 1: how do we know that you're not here to enslave us more badly than them?

Derreck: because in the infinity guard, we treat everyone as equals. wether they're human, alien, or faunas. our commander has sent us to rescue you because he cares about the faunas, just like some of the humans like him.

Faunas Slave 2: what's the infinity guard?

Derreck: we're an interstellar military organization whose purpose is to protect those who can't protect themselves.

Faunas Slaves: YOU'RE FROM SPACE!!!!!!!???????

SAMES 1: well tecnically, our fleet commander is from here, the rest of us are from a planet called Earth. 

Derreck: and before you ask, earth doesn't have any faunas, sorry.

Faunas Slaves: Aww

Derreck: but we humbly ask you to join us as the first faunas soldiers of the infinity guard, and don't worry, we'll treat you fairy like how we treat everyone else, what do you say?

after a few seconds, the faunas slaves stepped forward and started accepting their offer to join the infinity guard. Derreck then walked up to one of the former slaves and shook his/her hands and said... 

Derreck: welcome to the infinity guard, everyone.

the the Infinity Guard troops and SAMES then walked up to the slaves greeting them as the infinity guard's first faunas soldiers. then an infinity guard soldier walks up to derreck.

Infinity Guard Soldier: Sir, what should we do to the survivors?

derreck then looked at the surviving SDC Guards and decided what to do with them

Derreck: take them back to base as prisoners, the commander will know what to do with them.

everyone then hopped onto the dropships and went back to base with the faunas slaves-now-turned infinity guard recruits

(arc's light bridge, Jaune POV)

Quinn: and that's pretty much it.

Jaune: then we better get going as soon as possible, but you need to rest until then. after all, my brother gary did rescue.

Quinn: i understa... did you say gary, as in, gary goodspeed. he rescued me?

Jaune: yeah, and my sisters told me what happened before they went to get you to bring me here.

Quinn: oh my God, i must've hurt his feelings, i gotta apologize to him.

Velvet & Blake: you better.

then they see derreck's hologram as quinn left the room

Derreck: commander Jaune, the mission you gave us to rescue the faunas slaves at one of the SDC mines was a success, and we enrolled the slaves as the infinity guards first faunas soldiers

Velvet & Blake: WHAT!!!!

Jaune: what else, cuz were having an important moment here.

Derreck: oh sorry, but don't worry. we didn't force them, they chose to be with us and we'll treat them with the respect they deserve, like we always do. 

Jaune: what about the SDC guards?

Derreck: most of them are dead, but there were survivors. and we're taking them as prisoners at the base we built when we arrived at remnant.

Jaune: good I'll deal with them later, and guess what, blake and velvet are now my girlfirends

Derreck: that's great...WAIT WHAT!!!!!!!?????? CONGRATULATIONS, COMMANDER!!!! Once i get back to base, I'll notify every one of the news about your new GFs.

he said as the hologram went ofF

Blake: you rescued faunas slaves...

Velvet: at a SDC dust mine?

Jaune: hey no one else would do it, so i had to. they deserve better than that hellfest.

Blake and velvet ran up to jaune in tears of joy, hugging him

Velvet: that was a noble thing of you.

Blake: we're so glad that we have you back in our lives as our boyfriend.

Jaune: I'm just back to be back.

he said as he hugged his girlfriends, then gary calls jaune through the comms

Gary: Jaune, come in the cafe. we have a problem, HURRY!!!!!

this caused Jaune to get worried for his little bro, so he and his girl friends went to the lobby

(Lord Commander POV)

outside of the region of space remnant is located, the lord commander is standing at the window of his flagship, looking at the endless void of space

Lord Commander: all the pieces are in place...Let's play a little.

he said as he smiled evilly
