"How long will you be at practice for?"

"A few hours we're losing a new dance and I told Dianne we could go to lunch if we're able to get an hour or two in beforehand."

"Oh okay should I expect you home for dinner?"

"I'm not sure I'll let you know later okay I love you have a good day."

"I love you too."

Caspar gives a smile as Joe kisses him quickly waving as he heads out to the studio to get some practice in for his and Dianne's new dance routine. They had another performance coming on Saturday and they'd been spending days together learning new dances. Caspar was so proud of Joe and happy he was getting the chance to do this but he can't help but be a little upset that Joe was never home. He missed spending time with his boyfriend and to be frank he didn't really like that Joe was spending all his time with Dianne. 

"Might as well get some housework done."

Caspar sighs knowing he needed to do something physical to let his mind wander without too much effort. Putting on some music he lets his thoughts run while cleaning up folding laundry the way Joe showed him. After a few hours, he sits in the kitchen with a drink to give himself a break and to check his social media. When there is a knock on the door Caspar sets his phone down walking to answer it.

"Caspar!"

"Zoe I'm so happy to see you come in what brings you to London you don't come here very often."

Leading her into the kitchen he gets her a hot drink and has her sit across from him at the dining room table.

"Alfie is busy with meetings for the day and I had some time to relax so I thought I would come to visit. Is Joe around?"

"No, he's spending all his time with Dianne."

"Sounds to me someone is a little jealous."

Zoe grins over her drink nearly laughing as Caspar's face turns a little red at having been caught.

"I know I'm awful but I've hardly seen Joe at all these past few weeks he's always too tired to spend time together in the evening."

When Caspar's phone buzzes he can't stop his eyes from rolling when he sees Joe text telling him he wouldn't make it to dinner. Handing Zoe his phone to read the message Caspar gets up to get them a snack.

"I love your brother to death but sometimes he is so clueless about things you know I've eaten dinner every night by myself this past week."

"That sounds very lonely."

"Trust me it is I don't need his attention all the time don't get me wrong I am very happy for him and I'm so glad he's doing this. I'm so proud of him for taking this opportunity and I'm glad he has such a wonderful partner but all their spending time together sucks for me."

"Have you talked to Joe about any of this?"

"Oh, Zo he'd think I was being crazy and unreasonable."

"Do you think you are?"

"No."

"I don't think you are either think about talking to him okay and if you'd like I would love to join you for dinner."

"You would?"

"Of course."

They share a smile deciding to move into the lounge to watch a movie they agreed on ordering pizza later. 

"Yes, I love Hocus Pocus you know me so well."

Zoe cheers from her spot on the couch after Caspar brought their food in later that evening.

"I know and as it's almost October it's the perfect movie to eat our pizza with."

Settling under the blankets they sit together whispering back and forth while the movie plays. 

"How are you getting home?"

"Alfie is coming to get me he should be here in about five minutes."

"Okay, we'll have to come up to visit you, Alfie and Nala soon."

"For a weekend or a few days, I'm determined to have you down around Halloween because we're having our annual party."

"It's definitely a possibility at least for me I'm not sure about Joe you'll have to get after him on that."

"Oh, I will."

Zoe smiles putting her shoes on after helping Caspar clean up he walks her outside to wait for Alfie. When he pulls up Caspar walks over leaning down to look in his window smiling as they chat for a few minutes.

"I'll let you guys go let me know when you get home."

Waving them off Caspar heads back inside crawling into bed to rest a little knowing Joe probably won't be back till later.

The next morning when Caspar wakes up he sighs seeing the bed empty Joe didn't even wake him up or kiss him goodbye. Heading into the bathroom Caspar gets a shower and dresses for the day. Walking downstairs Caspar makes himself some breakfast while trying to figure out what to do for the day. When his phone rings he picks it up placing it to his ear after emptying his mouth.

"Hello?"

"Hey, baby what's up?"

"Eating."

"Is that all?"

"Well I did just get up but you wouldn't know that since you left before I woke up."

"I know I'm sorry but I needed to speak with Dianne and I didn't want to disturb you I would of woke you last night when I got home but you looked so peaceful."

"You know something Joe lately I've been feeling like more of a roommate to you than anything."

"What on earth are you talking about?"

Sighing Caspar rubs his hand over his face trying to keep his emotions in check.

"It's nothing I'm being stupid I'll let you get back to practicing love you bye."

Hanging up he finishes his breakfast walking into the lounge and crawling under the throw blanket. Turning on The Nightmare Before Christmas he lets his thoughts drift to a lot of things mainly about Joe. Snuggling farther into the throw pillow he slowly falls asleep the warmth from the blanket bringing back his tiredness...

"Casp hey Casp wake up."

Eyes opening when he feels himself being gently shaken Caspar is surprised to see Joe kneeling in front of him.

"Are you alright?"

"Yeah, I fell back to sleep during the movie sorry."

"Are you jealous of Dianne and I?"

Looking at his hands Caspar tries to think of an answer knowing Joe would hate for him to lie Caspar slowly nods his head.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"Because I didn't want to sound stupid or have you annoyed with me but after talking with your sister I realized it's not stupid to feel that way. Well, I at least don't think it's too stupid I don't know about you."

"It's not stupid I'm the one who hasn't been fair to you I heard what you told Zoe yesterday."

"Did she tell you?"

"No love you accidentally butt dialed me after showing her the message that I wasn't going to be able to make it for dinner. She did, however, chew me out for neglecting you the way I have been I didn't think you were alone. I talked to the others and they've all been busy I'm sorry for being gone so often."

"Don't be I'm the one being childish about it this is something you want to do and of course you have to practice I just miss you."

"I miss you too every time I have to leave I wish you could come with me or I could get finished sooner."

Pulling Caspar to stand with him Joe lays down pulling Caspar once more to lay on him pressing a kiss to his head Joe tilts his chin up.

"I love you Caspar Lee and I don't want you to be jealous of Dianne she's a friend only a friend you're the one I'm in love with. I left this morning to speak with Dianne about wanting to take the day off so I could spend it with you. She nearly strangled me when she found out the way you had been feeling and would love for you to watch our next practice."

"I wouldn't be a bother or get in the way?"

"Of course not."

Joe smiles hugging him tightly the two talking which lets Caspar get all of his feelings out for Joe to understand. They spend the rest of the day and evening tucked together on the couch holding each other close while movies played in the background.
