Daughter's Love

         I met this kid, she's smiling so bright. I don't know her name but I feel a little about her story. Knowing a part of her story amazed me.

           On my way home to our boarding house, I saw her hide at the back of the boarding house door. I was confused when she did that. I continue my walk towards the door. What surprised me was when she came out from the back of the door wearing her sweetest smile. I'm really shocked but

confused when she said, “Ay, akala ko si mama (I thought it was my mother). ” I just smiled at her and realize that her mother was walking next to me.

            As time passed by, I was talking to my sisters and they mentioned about the kid. They tell me that everytime they went home to our boarding house, the girl was sitting on the stairs waiting for her mother. They also mentioned that they witnessed how the girl was so excited opening the door when she heard the sound of the gate being opened. I also told them my experience and we concluded that she really loves her mother.

             What a loving kid she is, surprising her mother with her sweetest smile. I'm amazed by her attitude that waits patiently for her mother to arrive home. The efforts she's doing shows she loves her mother. I'm hoping that it will last forever.
