Your mom and dad were fighting when I went to your place to find out of you were okay.

Your mom was surprised to see me at the door but welcomed me and let me to your room. I saw you lying in your bed with a pillow upon your head to block out the noises from the kitchen.

Not knowing what to do, I just hugged you in bed and lay there till you said, "I'm sorry baby, I love you. I'm sorry."
