Today you looked very upset when you came to pick me up for college. You brushed it off saying you're alright. But I know.

I know reality hurts.

But I also know you are strong and you'll pull through. I still remember it like yesterday when you told me your dad was turning into an alcoholic. Anger was the only emotion you showed on the outside but I know you were disappointed deep inside.
