when I look back...

the view is not so pretty

my mistakes are there

all just waiting there to remind me

yes the good times are there too

it's just that they are all too few

when stands out most to me is the growth that I see

rare is the evolution that is free from flaw

my life is no exception to the rule

so when I look back I look forward because so many of the mistakes that I have made will never be recommitted

also I now know some things that will never work for me
