We got thunder sleet two nights ago... It wasn't too impressive. Just enough mess to cause a few wrecks. Last night we got first snow!!! We get more false forecasts than actual snow around here. It started out as rain. I told myself that the forecasters were yet wrong again... But I awoke to find a half a foot of freshly fallen snow. So clean and pristine... Glistening in silvery shimmers as the light of day danced, peeking through and between the horizon and leaf barren trees. A picturesque view... What a wonderful day to stay in.

It should snow here more often...
