"I just want straight up coffee." I said to the lady at the counter. She nodded as she started making it.
"Here you go ma'am." She said while handing me the coffee.
I took the coffee then headed for my usual spot, the corner. I started working on my paper that was due in 2 days. A few minutes later I felt someone sit in front of me.
"Hi." A voice said. I looked up to see a cute guy sitting in front of me.
"I'm Luke." He spoke again.
"Annaliesse." I said, shyly
"Well I came over here because I saw you were writing something."
"Yeah it's a short story for my English class" (I actually have no idea what college people write about.)
"Sounds interesting."
"Not really."
"You wanna know something?"
"What?"
"I came over here because I think your pretty." I was so shocked that I knocked my coffee over on him. He quickly stood up. I got a napkin and got on my knees and dabbed where the coffee was. After a minute I figured out where it actually was...how should I say this his no no square.
"Oh my God, I'm so sorry." I said
"It's fine" he said while taking another napkin and dabbing it as I got up. I was so embarrassed.
"How can I repay you?" I asked
"Well you can give me your number." I nodded as I got a piece of paper from my purse and wrote my number down, then handed it to him.
"Thank you darling." He said then walked away.
