"Da da! Da da!" Gemma says as she crawls over to Joey, who is getting ready in the bathroom.

"Yes, Gem? Yes, pretty girl?" Joey says as he looks down and smiles at Gemma.

"Ba ba!" Gemma says, wanting Joey to pick her up.

"Wait a minute, pretty girl. Let me finish to get ready." Joey says as Gemma fusses.

*Joey and Daniel's Thanksgiving outfits* 

"I know! It's hard to wait. But l'm almost done." Joey says calmly. "Where's your brother? Where's Bohen?"

"Bo! Bo en!" Gemma points outside the door vaguely.

"Okay," Joey hums and he picks Gemma up, and she hugs him. "Let's see what everyone else is doing! Probably getting ready too!" Joey says with a smile.

Bohen is crawling around and stops at Joey's feet. He shouts happily.

"Da da!" Bohen looks up at Joey.

"Yeah? I see you! What are you doing?" Joey asks the baby. Bohen says some incoherent words in reply.

"Oh, really?" Joey says and keeps walking.

"Bohen! There you are!" Daniel says dramatically. He picks the baby up and Bohen squeals in surprise.

"What was going on?" Joey asks his husband curiously.

"I was getting him dressed, but then Caspian needed my help - he wouldn't take anyone else's help - so I left Bo for a minute and he crawled off! Silly boy!" Daniel explains and then tickles Bohen.

"Oh boy! Are you a little Houdini? Disappearing on Papa?" Joey says to Bohen playfully and he giggles.

Gemma also giggles, smiling big with her few teeth showing.

"Look at those teeth! You and Bo have been teething a lot lately!" Daniel says as Gemma and Bohen smile.

"Are the other kids getting dressed and ready? Everyone should be coming over within the next hour or two." Joey says as he rubs Daniel's face.

"I think so! I know for sure that Casp, Em, Koa, Bria, T, Sie, Ash, Eden and River are dressed and ready. Casp, Em, Koa, Bria, T, Sie and Ash are with my mom in her bedroom watching the parade. Eden, River and Luna are in the playroom and we're just arguing so I'm sure they'll be running up here upset. Asp, Havey, Max and Ev were playing Sorry downstairs." Daniel explains to Joey.

Joey nods, smoothing Gemma's hair out of her face. "I guess we'll find out." He says and shrugs.

"The older kids are pretty good about what they prioritize." Daniel agrees and he yawns.

Daniel hadn't gotten much sleep last night, because he had to make sure most of the things for Thanksgiving were ready ahead of time.

"All right, time to finish getting you ready!" Daniel says to the little boy in his arms. Bohen smiles and his eyes shine happily.

"No!" Bohen says playfully.

"No? Well, how very dare you! This is outrageous!" Daniel says in a funny voice, causing Bohen and Gemma to laugh.

"You need a shirt, buddy! For real!" Daniel says seriously. He takes Bohen to get him fully dressed.

*Bria, Tristan, Sienna, Koa, Caspian, Emersyn, Gemma and Bohen's Thanksgiving outfits. Koa is wearing black pants, Emersyn and Gemma are wearing white tights and Bohen is wearing gray pants.*

Eden comes upstairs and finds Joey, with a slight frown.

"What's the matter, baby?" Joey asks, even though he already could guess.

"Luna was saying that people might not come over today!" Eden tells him.

"And we said that's not true! Lots of people will come!" River joins in, following right behind his sister.

"She might not have been trying to be upsetting. She probably didn't think it would sound bad." Joey says softly.

"Well, Auntie Beth couldn't come because she has to stay home with Grams and Papa William. They aren't in the best health to fly and visit with us." Daniel explains to Eden and River.

"Also, Auntie Alex and Uncle Cameron couldn't come because they are having Thanksgiving with their dad this year! Last year they were with us." Joey says to Eden and River.

"Is Auntie Hope coming?" River asks Joey and Daniel.

"Yeah! And Uncle Drake and Little Drake!" Eden says, hoping Hope, Drake and Drake Jr are visiting.

"I don't think so. Remember, she has baby Violet in her tummy! Because of that, she can't drive that far to be with us for Thanksgiving this year." Joey says to Eden and River.

"It's not dat long of a drwive!" River says with a pout.

"I know it is but once you are pregnant a certain amount of time the doctors don't want you to travel just in the case the baby wants to be born!" Daniel says to River and Eden.

"Then the baby can wait until after Thanksgiving," Eden says with sass.

"That's not how it works, baby." Joey says as he and Daniel giggle.

Eden makes a confused face but she shrugs, feeling better.

"Hey, do you know if your older siblings are ready? People should be here in an hour or two." Daniel asks River and Eden.

"Aspen and Haven are! So is Ev! Max likes waiting until later." River says happily.

"Okay. I'm sure he'll be ready soon." Joey nods.

"Let's go downstairs where everyone else is! Yeah!" Daniel says to Bohen in his arms when the baby starts to fuss.

Eden and River go into their rooms to do more cleaning up, and Joey, Daniel, Gemma and Bohen go downstairs.

"Down the stairs, to see everyone, down we go," Joey makes up a song and it makes Gemma giggle.

*Aspen, Everett, Maxwell, Haven, Luna, River, Eden and Ash's Thanksgiving outfits*

Joey sets Gemma on a play mat on the floor so he can help get anything ready. Haven is setting the table, since they asked Maria earlier about it and they couldn't wait.

"Wow, the table looks great! I was just about to do that. Thanks!" Joey says to Haven and he smiles.

"Thank you! We did the two other tables as well, Dad!" Haven says with a big smile.

"That's wonderful! That should be plenty of tables for everyone to sit at! We have a lot of family coming." Joey says happily.

Luna opens the sliding glass door so she, Wolf, Storm, Lark, Moon, Montana and Hunter.

Everett and Aspen are currently playing Uno while they have some free time, and they laugh at how the game's going.

Maxwell eventually goes upstairs to get dressed and do his hair.

"Let's see.." Daniel says to himself as he walks around the rooms, stopping in the kitchen. "Tables are set.. Kids are doing okay.." He continues.

"Papa! Where's all the food?" Tristan asks as he walks into the room and sees the tables set.

"It's not time yet! some of the food is in the fridge, and we'll get it out when it's ready! But our guests will be bringing some of the food as well. Like the turkey and rolls and such." Daniel tells Tristan.

"Oh! I see!" Tristan says with understanding. "That sounds yummy!"

"It will be! What's your favorite food at Thanksgiving?" Daniel asks.

"Pumpkin pie and salad!" Tristan says with a huge grin.

Bohen picks up a teething ring from the counter since he was close enough to reach it and Daniel notices.

"Be careful, Bo! Careful. Here's your teething ring, bud." Daniel says to Bohen, handing it to him.

"Aaaa!" Bohen says with a big grin.

"Gem, do you want a teething ring too?" Daniel asks Gemma and Gemma squeals.

"Ba ba ba!" Gemma says as she claps her hands happily.

"DAD! PAPA! THE BABY IS HERE!" Aspen squeals loudly as she and Everett run down the steps.

"Which baby?" Joey asks out loud.

"Auntie Hope and Uncle Drake's! Look at baby Violet!" Aspen says, jumping up and down.

Luna, River, Eden and Haven all run over to see the pictures of the baby.

"Aww baby Violet!" River says flapping his arms happily.

"She's so wittle!" Eden says with a cheeky grin.

Caspian, Emersyn, Bria, Sienna, Ash and Koa all run out of Maria's bedroom with Maria following behind.

"They heard the word baby!" Maria says with a chuckle.

"This happens every time," Daniel says with a laugh as he gives Gemma a teething ring and then walks over to where Aspen is to see.

"I wanna see! I wanna see!" Bria says eagerly.

"Oh! Me too!" Sienna shouts.

"And meeeee!" Koa says loudly.

Aspen holds her phone lower so the little kids can all look at the picture of Violet.

"She's so tiny and cute!" Ash says happily.

"Baby!" Caspian and Emersyn say in unison.

"That's right! That's baby Violet!" Joey says and smiles.

Then, the doorbell rings. Joey is taken by surprise because he was wondering if someone had come early.

"Dada da!" Bohen yells.

"Yeah, I know! I'll go see what that's about." Joey tells Bohen, who is still in Daniel's arms.

The dogs start to run over and bark but Joey tells them to be quiet.

Joey opens the door and sees his brother-in-laws Jakob and Alex, sister-in-laws Liz and Skyler and his nephews and niece Luca, Matteo, Alina and Adrian.

"Hey guys! Come on in! Happy Thanksgiving!" Joey says to Jakob, Skyler, Luca, Matteo, Alex, Liz, Alina and Adrian.

"COUNT! Come here!" Daniel yells sternly trying to get the black cat to stop from running out the door.

"I got him!" Joey says, picking up the cat.

"An escapee!" Liz says with a chuckle.

"Well, he was a street cat in Italy when Daniel and I went to Italy before Gemma and Bohen were born! He's microchipped so if he does get lost we should be able to get him home." Joey says, petting Count's head.

"That's good!" Skyler nods.

"Meow!" Bohen mimics the feline and giggles.

"Yeah, that's what the cats say!" Daniel says, giving the baby a kiss on his forehead.

Joey closes the door once everyone is inside and he makes sure the dogs don't crowd the entrance of the front.

"Hello!" Sienna says as she enters the room, smiling. She immediately notices the guests inside.

"Hi! Wow, you're getting so big!" Alex says and smiles.

"I am!" Sienna giggles.

Luca and Matteo walk around, admiring the decorations.

Alina pets all of the dogs that come up to her, and the cats, giggling.

"They're so soft!" Alina says happily.

Luca picks Matteo up so he can see things better and Adrian stays with his parents.

"All of my grandbabies are here! Oh my heart is so happy! I need a group picture please!" Maria says as she greets her older two sons, her daughter-in-laws, Adrian, Alina, Luca and Matteo.

"You have twenty grandchildren now, Ma! That's a lot!" Alex says as he laughs and Adrian hugs his leg.

"Plus Nicole's two! Let's wait for Nicole to come so you can include Jay and Brooke in your grandchildren picture!" Joey says as Gemma and Bohen crawl around.

Aspen, Everett, Haven, Luna, River, Eden, Bria, Tristan, Koa, Caspian and Emersyn all greet their uncles, aunts and cousins with Sienna already doing so.

"Where's Max? What's he doing up there!" Joey asks as the cats all begin to hide in the cat towers, unsure about the guests.

"Probably messing with his hair or cologne! I smell cologne from down here!" Aspen says as she smells Axe.

"He probably bathed in it. Let me go up there." Daniel says as he walks upstairs.

"Oh, the joys of teen boys!" Skyler says as she chuckles.

"Look! I got a baby bear!" Bria says ano she holds out a toy bear she had.

"Wow! That's such a cute teddy!" Alex says and he grins.

"Bear!" Adrian says quietly.

"That's right." Alex rubs Adrian's head gently.

"Max, where are you?" Daniel asks from the top of the stairs.

"I'm in my room, Papa!" Maxwell says.
Daniel walks over and finds his son sitting on his bed playing with a puzzle.

"You sure put on a lot of cologne." Daniel points out with a slight laugh.

"I like it this way," Maxwell answers as he glances at Daniel.

"Some of our guests arrived early! Can you come downstairs?" Daniel explains.

"Yeah, I was just relaxing before they got here. I'm almost finished with this!" Maxwell tells him, messing with the puzzle toy in his hands.

"Okay! Well, Uncle Alex, Uncle Jakob, Auntie Liz, Auntie Skyler, Luca, Matteo, Alina and Adrian are waiting!" Daniel says to Max and Max nods happily.

Daniel walks back downstairs and sees Bria, Tristan, Sienna, Alina, Koa, Matteo and Adrian are all playing with some toys in the living room with the adults sitting around.

"Max was doing a puzzle. He is coming down shortly." Daniel says as he stands behind Joey, giving him a kiss on the head.

"His therapist said to do a quiet activity before a busy event to help with his ADHD." Joey explains to everyone.

"He is doing so well I'm so proud of him and all of my grandbabies!" Maria says proudly.

Caspian, Emersryn and Koa run out of the playroom to bring some more toys into the living room.

"When it's time to eat Thanksgiving dinner we need to put all of these toys back in the playroom okay?" Joey says to the kids and they all nod.

"They have toys in the living room but we have so many toys we gotta put them in it's own room." Daniel says as Joey nods.

"Our house too! Alina and Adrian have so many toys we put the bigger ones in the playroom." Liz says to Daniel and Joey.

Maxwell finally joins everyone downstairs before he, Luca, Everett, Aspen and Haven go into the playroom to play a video game.

All of the adults chat for a while, while the kids play together, and Koa also pets any cats and dogs that are nearby as he plays.

"So, I heard some ukulele earlier, who plays?" Jakob asks curiously.

"Haven does! They've been playing since about September, I think, I could be wrong. Haven has gotten so good at it, and they are really determined to be great." Joey says happily and proudly.

"That's so awesome! It sounded pretty good." Jakob replies.

"Hey, don't do that," Joey says to Bohen as he picks him up from the ground. "Stay out of there, buddy!" He says sternly but not angrily.

"What's he doing now?" Daniel asks and rolls his eyes.

"Bohen was getting into the dog water and then tried to get into the kitchen! Sneaky." Joey answers.

"You sound like you're used to this stuff happening!" Liz points out and smiles in sympathy.

"Ever since he learned to crawl, he's always disappearing and it happened earlier too when he was getting dressed." Daniel tells Liz.

"Oh, they are at the age when they are exploring!" Liz says with a giggle.

"Gemma, stay here!" Maria says picking up Gemma and holding her close.

"She's going to climb up the steps soon!" Daniel says as Joey laughs.

"She already has!" Maria says as she chuckles.

After a while, there was another ring of the doorbell, and Daniel answers it this time.
At the door was Debbie, Bob, Jett and then Nicole, Sean, Jay and Brooke.

"Hi, guys! Come in! Happy Thanksgiving! We're so glad you could make it!" Daniel greets everyone.

"Happy Thanksgiving!" Debbie and Bob say, along with Nicole and Sean.

Everyone comes inside and starts talking.
"Who else are we waiting for?" Sean asks as he's seeing and greeting Jakob, Liz, Alex and Skyler.

"Just waiting for my dad and Saundra!" Joey says as he watches the little kids playing making sure a fight isn't happening.

"They should be on their way! They texted me earlier." Nicole says as Brooke walks around and explores.

"Cats won't come down, Mommy!" Jay says he looks at the cat towers wanting the cats to come down.

"They are probably scared, baby! They aren't used to all of these guests being in their house." Nicole explains to Jay and Jay frowns.

"They should be used to noise with all of the kids!" Sean says as he laughs.

"I'm sure they're used to the noise, though maybe not Count since he's the newest." Joey says in reply.

"Good point, babe." Daniel says with a yawn.

"You all right, Daniel?" Jakob asks with some concern.

"Yep! The babies just have been waking up at night more and we had a lot to prepare for today." Daniel explains.

"Sleep regression! It will be over soon!" Liz says to Daniel and Joey.

"We hope so!" Joey says as he watches the kids.

"Papa! My hand is stuck!" Tristan says as he runs to Daniel with a box actually stuck on his hand.

"How did that happen, T?" Daniel asks as he crouches down and starts to try and release Tristan's hand.

"Ummm I don't know!" Tristan says knowing how it happened but won't tell.

Daniel manages to get Tristan's hand out of the box after a few tugs.

"This is why we don't put our hands in small holes like this. We get stuck." Daniel explains to Tristan.

"Oh, okay Papa." Tristan says and shakes the hand that was stuck, looking at the box curiously. He runs off and goes to keep playing.

Daniel sighs as he stands back up, remembering that he has to get some of the food ready. He goes into the kitchen and starts working on that.

"He must work hard all the time," Liz observes.

"He does! He definitely has a strong work ethic. He amazes me every day." Joey says as he gives Bohen a kiss on the forehead. The baby giggles.

"Of course, we help him, but he can get stubborn too." Maria adds.

"Oh, very stubborn!" Joey says out loud.

The front door is knocked on and when they open it, they find the rest of the guests - Joe, Saundra, Debbie, Jett and Robert at the door.

"Come on in, Dad and Saundra! So happy you guys can make it!" Joey says hugging them both.

"And hi, Mom, Robert and Jett!" Joey says hugging the trio.

"Let me help in the kitchen." Maria says as she smiles at the little kids before going in the kitchen.

"No no, stay in here! No littles in the kitchen." Liz says as Capsian and Emersyn begin to cry.

"Uh oh! What happened?" Joey says as he, Joe and Saundra walk into the living room.

"I think Caspian and Emmy wanted to join Maria in the kitchen." Liz says to Joey.

"Oh, we don't want the little kids in there and have an accident. Too many hot foods." Joey says as he picks up Caspian.

Bohen is now back on the floor, with Sienna coming over to watch him. Joey lets Caspian hug him.

"Thank you for watching Bohen, Sie Sie! That's a big help." Joey praises her.

"Yeah! I'm helping!" Sienna says proudly.

"Yes, you are! Papa is making the food with Nonna now, or at least setting it out." Joey tells Sienna.

"Hi, guys!" Sienna says to Saundra and Joe.

Sienna goes back to following Bohen and offering him things to play with so he won't get in the way.

"Hi, Sienna!" Saundra says and smiles.

"Emmy! Wanna come over here and play with us?" Everett asks, noticing Emersyn pouting since she was told not to be in the kitchen.

"Okay," Emersyn says a little unsurely.

"Yeah, let's build some block towers!" Everett says encouragingly.

Emersyn starts to make towers with her brother and she happily starts stacking blocks.

"Man, all of these kids are getting big!" Joe says as he looks at all of his grandkids.

"Aren't they?" Joe says proudly.

"I'm graduating this summer! Are you coming to it, Poppy?" Aspen asks Joe.

"I am! Gamma is as well!" Joe says as he looks at Saundra and she nods in agreement.

"I sure am!" Saundra says with a cheeky smile.

"Me too!" Debbie says as Aspen giggles.

"I am as well!" Robert says and Aspen smiles.

"Aww, that's so nice!" Aspen says and looks pleased.

"I hungwy!" Caspian says to Joey, still in his arms.

"Well, we're gonna have food soon!" Joey answers.

"I like seeing everyone here. We have quite a big family." Debbie says softly, behind Joey.

"Oh, you scared me. I didn't see you there. Hi." Joey jumps a little, which makes Caspian giggle.

"Hi! And hello, Caspian! You're looking so cute! And big!" Debbie smiles.

Caspian buries his face in Joey's chest shyly, his eyes sparkling in happiness.

"Aww, it's Mom Mom!" Joey says, kissing Caspian's cheek.

"It's okay! I haven't been around much so he doesn't know me just yet." Debbie says as she smiles at Caspian.

Luca, Everett, Maxwell, Haven, Luna, River, Eden, Ash rejoin everyone in the living room.

"Someone isn't watching the littles!" Maria says as she carries Bohen and Gemma with Emersyn standing next to her.

"How did you three escape?" Joey says playfully.

Gemma babbles an answer, and Emersyn stays quiet.

"Oh, we WERE watching them." Everett says, trying to think about how he got distracted. He couldn't think.

"I was literally just playing blocks with Emmy! I don't know what happened." Everett adds with a shrug.

"I helped!" Sienna says in her defense, not knowing how Bohen crawled away.

"You did! But I think they all wanted to explore or see who was at the front door!" Maria says to Sienna.

"Daddy, are we having dinner now?"
Bria asks as she appears out of nowhere.

"Almost! Papa and Nonna are getting everything set up! So why don't we all wash our hands before we eat!" Joey says to Bria and all of the kids, making sure everyone has clean hands when they begins to fill their plates.

The kids, except for the absolutely youngest kids, go and wash their hands excitedly and then sit down at the tables.

"Wow, l've never seen them get ready for dinner so fast." Liz says and laughs.

The adults all do the same, but less quickly, and once they sit down, everyone is ready. They say a thankful prayer and then begin getting food on plates.

Daniel, Joey and Skyler make sure they get the toddler plates ready first, knowing they'd be most impatient.

"Do you want some of this salad?" Daniel asks Koa and he nods eagerly.

"I want some of this, please!" Sienna points at a Jell-o salad that she can't reach.

"I'll help you get it!" Maxwell says happily and serves some to her.

"What do you want, Matteo? Would you like some mashed potatoes?" Skyler asks.

"Yeah," Matteo says and looks at the food on the table.

"I want mac and cheese!" River says, flapping his arms.

"You can have some, Riv! I know that's your favorite!" Aspen says helping River with the mac and cheese.

"I got ham!" Ash says with excitement.

"You did! Mmm! That's my favorite!" Joey says with a big grin.

"We have lots of turkey as well!" Daniel says as he cuts pieces of turkey and ham for the kids to get some.

Bohen happily plays with his plate that has mashed potatoes, stuffing and corn.

Joey looks at Bohen and sighs a little but smiles, knowing babies like to play with food rather than eat it.

"What is this?" Ash asks and he looks at a side dish.

"That is roasted cauliflower and broccoli!" Daniel says happily.

"I want some of that, please!" Ash says and holds out his plate. Daniel serves him some.
Gemma is playing with and eating some soft sweet potatoes and roasted carrots.

"Are those yummy, Gem? Do you love veggies?" Joey asks Gemma.

"Aaaaa!" Gemma says, clapping her hands happily.

"Ba baaaa!" Bohen says as he smiles.

"Mmmm!" Daniel says as he smiles at the little kids.

The little kids all happily chit chat with each other enjoying this special time.

Everyone else chats and socializes, enjoying the food and each others' company.

After dinner, the kids go play games or with toys, and the adults play games too, also discuss everything.

Then, after a while, it's time for dessert. There is a variety of options; pies, cheesecake and puddings.

"Can I have some of that, please?" Ash says to Joey.

"Yes, you may! Here you go!" Joey gives Ash a slice of apple pie.

"I want pie too!" Koa says loudly and eagerly.

"Yes, I will get you some too!" Joey tells Koa, giving him the same thing.

Daniel gives Gemma and Bohen some pumpkin pie, since it's softer in texture than, like, pecan pie, which was there too.

Everyone gets a dessert and spend more time together as a family!

Joey, Daniel, Aspen, Everett, Maxwell, Haven, Luna, River, Eden, Ash, Bria, Tristan, Sienna, Ash, Koa, Caspian, Emersyn, Gemma and Bohen all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with their whole family! :)
