Joey has just finished feeding Bria, Tristan, Sienna and Koa their breakfast and they are now sitting in the living room watching morning cartoons!

Daniel left a half an hour ago to drop off Eden and Ash at school and still hasn't come back.

Joey is getting worried because usually Daniel tells him if he is going somewhere like the farmers market, the store or just about anywhere he goes.

Joey decides to call Maria and see if she has heard from Daniel. Maria is on a hike with Lark like she always does on Tuesdays. Joey places Koa in his swing before calling Maria.

"Hello?" Maria says happily to Joey.

"Hey Maria, have you heard from Daniel? He left to take Edie and Ash to school almost an hour ago. He didn't tell me if he was going anywhere. Did he tell you anything and just wanted red to surprise me or something?" Joey says to Maria as Tristan sits in Joey's lap.

Maria shakes her head no as she stops walking and Lark sits down next to her.

"I haven't heard from him eith-" Maria says before getting is interrupted by Joey getting another call on his iPhone - it is Daniel.

"Hey Maria, that's Daniel calling me, I gotta go! I'll call you right back!" Joey says to Maria.

"Okay!" Maria says as Joey ends the call and answers Daniel's call.

"There you are! I have been looking for you! I was just talking to your mom!" Joey says playfully before he hears Daniel moaning.

"Danny? What's wrong?" Joey asks in worry.

"Joey, I-I-I got in a car accident a-a-a-fter I dropped off Eden and Ash at school. Some asshole side swiped me. I-I-I'm at the hospital." Daniel says softly and Joey begins to cry.

"OH MY GOD! A-A-A-Are you okay?" Joey yells in horror, afraid that his husband is severely hurt.

"I-I-I'm okay, j-j-j-just really sore. I-I-I'm getting a bunch tests done before I can go home. I think my car is totaled I'm sorry." Daniel says to Joey.

"I don't care about the car! We can always get another car, you know we have plenty of money to pay one off right away. I'm worried about you. Oh my gosh, I gotta go see you! Let me call you mom so she can watch the triplets and Koa!" Joey says as he tries to not to cry.

Daniel grunts in pain and Joey freaks out.

"I'm going to call your mom to watch the kids and I'll be right there! Okay? I'm going to put you on hold!" Joey says to Daniel.

"Okay baby." Daniel says softly as Joey pauses his call with Daniel and calls Maria back. 

"Oh good did you hear from him?" Maria asks Joey and Joey panics

"Maria! Daniel was in a car accident and is in the hospital I need you here to watch the babies I have to go to see Daniel!" Joey says to Maria.

"Oh my goodness! I'll be there as soon as I can!" Maria says as she and Joey end their phone call.

"Daddy, wet's pway!" Sienna says as she gets excited.

"We can play! But let's talk to Papa too!" Joey says, getting the call back on Daniel.

"PAPA!" Bria and Sienna both yell happily.

"Hi, princesses." Daniel says to Bria and Sienna.

"Papa!" Tristan says as he giggles.

"What are you guys doing?" Daniel asks as he grunts in pain.

"They are playing with their new blocks that Nicole sent!" Joey says as he sniffles.

"Don't cry, baby. I'm okay. I'm just really sore." Daniel says to Joey softly.

Joey cries silently, trying to not have Daniel hear him.

"Do you want me to be there with you? Maria is almost home." Joey says to Daniel.

"If you can, baby. I need to ride home." Daniels says playfully causing Joey to laugh.

"I'll pick you up, baby, don't worry." Joey says as Tristan walks over to Koa's swing.

"TT, don't touch the swing. Koa is sleeping." Joey says to Tristan.

"Papa pway!" Bria says to Daniel.

"I don't know if I'll be able to play, baby." Daniel says to Bria.

"Papa needs to rest when he comes home okay? He has booboos." Joey explains to the triplets.

Just then, Maria bursts through the front door and Joey quickly says goodbye to Bria, Tristan, and Sienna before racing out the door and to the hospital.

Joey walks into a tiny triage room and sees Daniel sitting up in a hospital bed getting an IV and has bandages on his face and arm.

"Hi, baby." Daniel says with a small grin at Joey.

"Danny! I am so happy to see you. Are you okay?" Joey says running up to Daniel and carefully hugs him.

"I'm okay, just really sore. All of the X-rays and scans have come back good, no broken bones or bleeds anywhere." Daniel says as Joey smiles with tears falling down.

"Oh I'm so glad! You will probably feel beat up for a week or two. I'll take care of you." Joey says as he kisses Daniel's head.

"How are the babies?" Daniel asks Joey.

"They are good! Maria is with them. Koa was sleeping and the triplets were playing with paint. Hopefully our walls aren't ruined." Joey says as he giggles and Daniel smiles.

"If they are that's okay. They aren't little forever." Daniel says to Joey.

Joey smiles as more tears fall rapidly down his cheeks seeing his husband hooked up to a heart monitor and lots of other beeping machines.

Daniel frowns and tries wiping Joey's tears away.

"Why the tears love? I'm right here. I'm okay." Daniel says to Joey.

"I know, but it could have been a lot worse. The police showed me a picture of your car." Joey says as Daniel rubs Joey's face.

"I'm so sad. I loved that car too." Daniel says with a sigh.

"We can get you another one, baby. I promise." Joey says as he and Daniel kiss twice.

"Our car insurance is gonna go through the roof." Daniel says with a big sigh.

"No, it won't. The accident wasn't even your fault." Joey says to Daniel.

"Even if it isn't my fault it still goes up I think." Daniel says to Joey and Joey giggles and smiles at Daniel.

"I think you are wrong, mister!" Joey says to Daniel.

Daniel giggles but quickly stops as his ribs and chest hurt pretty badly and tried not to groan because he doesn't want to scare Joey.

"How long do you have to be here before you can go home?" Joey asks Daniel.

"Once this IV is done I should he able to go home. They are going to give me some pain medicine but it probably won't work." Daniel says to Joey.

"Well, we will still get them. It might help." Joey says rubbing Daniel's head.

Daniel than pats the space in the bed next to him.

"Come lay down with me.. please?" Daniel asks Joey softly and Joey happily smiles.

Joey nods and carefully lays down next to Daniel in the hospital bed.

"I have an ultrasound appointment in three days. Do you think you can come?" Joey asks Daniel.

"Of course I can." Daniel says, kissing Joey's cheek.

"What if it's multiples again? Do you think we can handle it?" Joey asks Daniel.

"Duh! If we can handle triplets we can handle twins or triplets again." Daniel says softly, rubbing Joey's face.

Joey smiles and more tears fall down his cheeks as he takes in how hurt Daniel is.

"Don't cry, love. It's okay." Daniel says, kissing Joey's cheek.

Joey's iPhone beeps and it's a picture that Maria sent of Bria, Tristan and Sienna painting and all of them are smiling.  

Joey smiles and shows Daniel the picture.

"They are gonna want to be all over you when you get home." Joey says and Daniel smiles.

"That's fine, I want kisses and hugs from all of my babies. Koa too." Daniel says with a cheeky grin.

"I think Maria is baby wearing him so he is being spoiled." Joey says with a giggle.

Daniel giggles than playfully pouts at Joey.

"I want hugs and cuddles and kisses from my big baby too! I am hurt so I get extra attention." Daniel says playfully to Joey.

Joey giggles and smiles at Daniel.

"Of course I will hug, cuddle and kiss you." Joey says, kissing Daniel.

"Who is going to pick Edie and Ash from school?" Daniel asks

"I'm sure Maria can once we get home, if not, I can always have Shane or Ryland or another friend to get them since their kids are in Eden and Ash's classes." Joey says to Daniel and Daniel smiles.

"Okay, whatever works best. I am really banged up." Daniel says to Joey.

Joey texts Ryland, asking him if he can bring Eden and Ash home.

"Ryland can bring them home!" Joey says with a grin and Daniel smiles.

"Aw, that's nice." Daniel says with a grin.

"We gotta keep a secret!" Joey says to Daniel.

"What secret?" Daniel asks Joey in confusion.

"Ry and Shane are having another baby!" Joey says with excitement and Daniel gasps happily.

"Oh my God!" Daniel says with a big smile.

"Yeah, they are going to announce on Easter so don't tell anybody. Well, don't tell anybody that will expose it." Joey says to Daniel.

"I won't tell anybody! Maybe just my mom and the older kids since they can keep secrets." Daniel says to Joey.

"They are just having one baby, which is really cute. I think Ryland was a little nervous to have twins again!" Joey says with a giggle.

"Aw that's sweet. I wonder if we will have twins? That would be cute. Irish triplets with Koa and the twins." Daniel says with a grin.

"You really want twins don't you?" Joey asks Daniel playfully.

"Maybe! It's fun dressing multiples." Daniel says as Joey giggles.

Just than Daniel gets a major sharp pain thru his ribs and screams as it comes out of no where making Joey panic.

Joey runs into the hallway and yells "Can we get a nurse or someone?! Please!! Help!"

A nurse runs in and helps Daniel by giving him pain medicines.

"He is just having a muscle spasm. Sometimes your muscle spasm after an rough accident due to trauma." The nurse says as Joey nods.

"I'm okay baby. I promise." Daniel says softly to Joey.

Joey smiles and kisses Daniel's forehead.

Just then Joey's iPhone rings and it is a FaceTime call from Maria.

Joey happily answers the phone and sees Bria, Tristan and Sienna all staring at the phone and talking to each other in their own language.

"Hi, cuties! How did you get Nonna's phone?" Joey ask the triplets as he smiles at them.

Bria babbles with a cheeky grin.

"Da da! Pa pa!" Bria says as she giggles.

"Hiiiiii!" Sienna says with a grin.

"Uh oh!" Tristan says as he drops something on the floor but picks it up.

"Where's Nonna and Koa?" Daniel asks softly to the triplets.

"Outside with Wark! Torm! Mon! Woo! Moo!" Tristan says as he giggles.

"Aww, that's sweet!" Joey says with a smile.

"Kitty!" Sienna says as she wants to pick up Oreo.

"Be careful with Oreo! Gentle!" Joey says to Sienna.

Sienna giggles and Joey hears Maria in the background as she comes inside.

"There's my phone! I have been looking all over the house for it!" Maria says as she takes the phone from the triplets.

"They must have found your phone first!" Daniel says as he giggles.

"Koa loves to be held and I love it!" Maria says as she shows Koa sleeping in the carrier and Daniel smiles.

"Aww.." Daniel say softly and Joey smiles.

"I am ready to go home. Should be soon." Daniel says and Joey nods in agreement.

"Take your time, you two! I got it under control here! I'm going to get the triplets and Koa ready to go shopping! And get them treats, shh don't tell! Do you need me to get Eden and Ash?" Maria asks Joey and Daniel.

"No, Ryland is going to bring them home for us! Remember his girls are in Eden and Ash's classes!" Joey says as Maria nods in agreement.

Maria smiles at Joey and Daniel.

"Okay, we'll I'll let you two go! I love you both! Please get home safely!" Maria says to Joey and Daniel.

Joey and Daniel both tell Maria goodbye and they smile at each other.

Daniel frowns at Joey and Joey frowns back.

"I'm so sorry about the car, Joey." Daniel says softly.

"Danny, I don't care about the car. All I care about is that I didn't lose you today." Joey says, kissing Daniel and Daniel smiles.

After a few hours, Daniel is released from the hospital and they get something to eat before heading home!

Once at home, Eden, Ash, Bria, Tristan and Sienna all happily run over to Daniel and Joey.

"Hi, guys! Hi!" Joey says as he kisses and hugs Eden, Ash, Bria, Tristan and Sienna.

"Hey! We're you five good for Nonna?" Daniel asks Eden, Ash, Bria, Tristan and Sienna.

"YA!" Bria, Tristan and Sienna all say in unison to Daniel.

"Ashy and I had a fun lunch date with Roo and Po!" Eden says with a big grin.

"How fun!" Joey says happily to Eden.

"Yeah! We got Mickey Ds!" Ash says as he flaps his hands.

Maria walks over to Daniel and Joey.

"Am I allowed to hug you?" Maria asks Daniel

"Of course, Mama!" Daniel says as he hugs and kisses Maria.

"Where is Koa?" Joey asks Maria.

"He is in his pack 'n' play sleeping! I just fed him! Also, why didn't anybody tell me Ryland and Shane were having another baby!" Maria says to Joey and Daniel.

"Who told you?" Joey asks in confusion.

"Rosie and Posey did!" Maria says with a grin.

"Looks like you need to text Ryland and let him know the girls are gonna spoil the surprise!" Daniel says with a careful chuckle as he slowly sits down in the recliner.

Joey turns his attention to Daniel to make sure he gets comfortable than pulls a chair next to him.

"I'm sleepy." Daniel says softly to Joey.

"Than take a nap, baby." Joey says to Daniel with a grin.

Eden, Ash, Bria, Tristan and Sienna all happily yell as they run around the house.

For the rest of the day, Daniel rests while Joey, Maria and the kids take care of him :)
