Today, Daniel is going to be taking Haven out for a one-on-one day! Haven wants to change their style a bit more, and Daniel, Joey, Maria and the rest of the kids all support that!

Haven has been experimenting with different feminine and masculine styles, and they've decked they wanted more 'boys' clothes and some boxers!

Maria and Joey will be taking care of the triplets, the pets and the other kids today. They all love spending time with the other kids!

*Haven's outfits with jeans with holes in them*

"Papa, I'm all ready to go! I got my purse with my wallet and sunglasses!" Haven says happily, pushing some of their hair out of the way and they put their purse backpack on their back.

"Great! Let's go, then!" Daniel says as him and Haven say goodbye to everyone before heading out to the car.

"Can we listen to some Twenty One Pilots on the way there? I love their new song, Shy Away!" Haven asks excitedly, very happy they get to spend time with just Daniel.

"Sure, princex! I don't mind!" Daniel says and gets Bluetooth on his phone and puts the music on shuffle.

Haven and Daniel happily dance in their seats while they listen to music.

"Havey, are you excited to go into fourth grade?" Daniel asks Haven.

"Yeah! I am really excited! Max and Ev said all fourth grade classes gets a class pet! You either have a rabbit or a turtle. I want the teacher that has the turtle since I never had a turtle as a pet!" Haven says, explaining it just like Joey would.

"Ooo, a turtle! I think Daddy had one of those growing up!" Daniel says and Haven giggles.

"And you had rabbits just like Aspen!" Haven says as they drink their drink.

"I sure did!" Daniel says happily to Haven.

"Yeah, and you got them pregnant without Nonna knowing." Haven says as they and Daniel both laugh and smile.

"I did do that." Daniel says as he laughs loudly.

Haven dances in their seat some more as the newest album, Scaled and Icy is playing.

Fifteen minutes later, they arrive at Target! Daniel and Haven both put masks on and go inside.

"Maybe they'll have some cool Minecraft things! I don't really know how the sizing works for boyish clothes. Well shirts I do, but not pants and underwear." Haven says, thinking while the duo walks over to the section with the desired items.

"Well, I'll help out if you need it! Pick some things that look good!" Daniel says as he smiles from under his mask.

Haven picks up a few pairs of boxers, holding it up to their waist to see how it will fit.

"I like these ones that are Pokémon themed! I don't know if I'll fit them." Haven says and frowns.

"You can always try things on in the dressing room, Havey." Daniel says and helps them decide on a few plain pairs.

Haven and Daniel go to the fitting room with Daniel standing right by the door so Haven can have their privacy while trying the boxers on.

Haven puts a pair of dark green boxers on and looks at themselves in the mirror. Haven likes what they see and they smile ear to ear.

Haven really hated girly types of underwear even though they are comfortable to wear.

"Papa, do you think these fit me right?" Haven asks Daniel through the door.

"Let me see, Havey! Unlock the door and I'll come in." Daniel says as Haven unlocks the dressing room door and Daniel walks in.

"What do you think about them?" Daniel asks Haven as he sits down and sees Haven's big smile that's on their face.

"I really like them on! They are comfy and I like how they look on me! I know people won't see them but me." Haven says to Daniel.

"Well, that's what matters, Havey! And they look like they fit! What do you think?" Daniel asks Haven.

"I'm afraid they will shrink." Haven says as they continue to smile at their boxers.

"Well, maybe we can get the size up then. I don't remember if Target boxers shrink or not." Daniel says to Haven.

"Yeah, let's get the size up. Maybe some a size up and some this size." Haven agrees and Daniel steps back out of the fitting room so Haven can put their other clothes back on.

Haven soon steps out, feeling satisfied that they've already found some good underwear.

"You can pick out some more pairs now, if you want!" Daniel says to Haven, helping them get the two sizes they need.

"Okay, I think that's good amount. I wanna choose some clothes now, Papa." Haven says softly but very happily.

"Okay, Havey!" Daniel says as he and Haven walk around the boy clothes section.

Haven knows their shirt size since they already wear some boy shirts!

Haven picks up a few shirts they like and hands them to Daniel to hold.

"Papa, do you like these pants? I like them!" Haven says as they hold up a pair of khaki pants that look like jeans.

"Those are cute, Havey! Do you wanna try them on? " Daniel asks Haven and Haven nods.

"Sure!" Haven says with a cheeky grin.

"Okay! Pick out a few other pairs you like so you can try them on all at once." Daniel says to Haven and Haven begins to look around some more.

Haven grabs two pairs of cargo shorts, a pair of sweatpants and a pair of jeans.

"All right! I'm ready to try these all on." Haven says and heads back fo the dressing rooms.

Daniel follows and waits outside again, checking his texts while waiting.

Haven tries on a few of the pairs, and after most of them fit, they unlock the door and ask Daniel to come in.

"This pair of sweatpants is too loose, I think." Haven says and shows Daniel how it fits around the legs and waist.

"Well, it fits you length wise which is good! I think you will just have to tighten them with the strings to fit your waist better. You have smaller legs so that's why it is big around the legs. Daddy has the same problem." Daniel says as Haven giggles.

"Oh duh! I should have used the strings! They fit better since you tightened them for me!" Haven says with a cheeky grin.

"That's good! Sometimes you gotta do that! Everett and River have the same problem!" Daniel says with a smile.

"Do you like these, Papa?" Haven asks Daniel and Daniel happily nods:

"I do! They are very cute! I might get River and Ash a pair too. They both love pants like this especially Riv." Daniel says to Haven and Haven smiles.

River prefers to wear sweatpants or pants that stretch or has no buttons because of his sensory issues. Ash likes sweatpants because they are easy to get on and off.

"Papa, is it okay that I like boy clothes more than girl clothes?" Haven asks Daniel softly.

Haven knows they are the only child who doesn't identify as the gender they were assigned at birth and they don't want their parents to think of them as different or weird.

"Of course it is okay, Havey! Daddy and I have told you and all of your siblings, clothes are not gendered. Clothes are just clothes and anybody can wear what they want and what they feel comfortable in! Everett likes some 'girl' clothes and you like 'boy' clothes! Society just likes to label everything and that's annoying. You are perfect just the way you are and you were born this way for a special reason." Daniel says as he hugs and kisses Haven.

Haven hugs in return, fixing their mask. They are so grateful to have an accepting family.

Haven is aware that some kids aren't accepted by their families and get treated badly for it, which is a sad thought but it's always good to be educated, as Daniel and Joey teach their kids.

"Thanks, Papa. That makes me feel better. I think I like these clothes a lot, we can leave the store now." Haven giggles before switching back to their normal outfit.

"Let's pay, then! Is there anything you want to buy with your own money? I'll pay for the clothes." Daniel asks as he picks up a basket and puts the oitfitd and boxers in it.

"Maybe! I'd like to get some bracelets I think." Haven replies, and they go over with Daniel to look at the kids' accessories!

"Ooh, we love accessories! So fab!" Daniel says happily, trying to be hip again, which makes his almost fourth grader laugh.

"I like this set! Oh, there's a necklace that has an H on it!" Haven points out, smiling when they see the jewelry on sale.

"Ooo, that's cute, baby! I like that!" Daniel says with a cheeky smile at Haven.

Haven picks out a necklace, a few scrunchies for her hair that's growing in again and a hat!

"Are you ready to go, baby?" Daniel asks Haven and Haven nods.

"Yup! I'm ready!" Haven says with a big smile.

Daniel and Haven go to the self checkout and they begin to scan everything.

"Thank you for everything, Papa. I appreciate it so much." Haven says, hugging Daniel tightly.

"You're welcome, princex! Did you have fun?" Daniel asks Haven and Haven happily nods.

"Yeah, I had a lot of fun!" Haven says with a big smile.

Daniel and Haven pay for everything before they walk to Starbucks to get something to drink!

"What do you wanna get, Havey?" Daniel asks as they both wait in line patiently.

"Um.. a dragon drink! I think I've had that before. I like coconut milk!" Haven says eagerly, thinking about the flavor.

"It does sound interesting! How exotic sounding." Daniel says with a laugh.

Both of them sanitize their hands, and then order their drinks. Soon, Haven and Daniel sit down while they wait.

"I like like day, Papa! It's nice to have alike time with you." Haven says nicely.

"I like it too! Daddy and I always want to include everyone! I know having the littlest kids around sometimes takes our attention up." Daniel says and pats Haven on the back in an assuring manner.

Haven laughs and nods, feeling very loved at that moment.

"For Daniel?" An employee says and puts the two drinks down on the counter.

"Thank you so much!" Daniel says with a cheeky smile.

"Thank you!" Haven says as they pick up their drink.

Daniel and Haven walk out of Target and they walk to Daniel's car.

Haven sits upfront with Daniel, which is something they rarely do because their older siblings take the seat up.

Haven happily drinks their drink while Daniel puts them bags in the back seat.

"Do you wanna go anywhere else, Havey?" Daniel asks Haven.

"No, thanks. I think I'm ready to go home." Haven decides, feeling a little tired out from the trying on clothes and such.

"Okay, that's fine by me. We have all these clothes to wash now." Daniel says playfully, making Haven giggle.

"Yes! And the others probably miss us. Sienna LOVES to hang out with me." Haven says and they turn on the radio.

"Aww, Sienna loves you, Havey! I think you are her favorite sibling." Daniel says as Haven giggles and smiles.

"The triplets love everybody though, Papa! And Sienna loves you too!" Haven says as they smile.

"You think I'm her favorite parent?" Daniel asks Haven curiously and they think about it.

"Maybe! But Sienna loves Daddy too! She loves both of you equally but she is a baby still!" Haven says making Daniel chuckle.

Daniel and Haven continue to talk while they listen to music during the drive home! :)

I hate that society labels everything. clothes are just clothes in this house! whatever makes your child happy should matter above what you want! ❤️"
