Today is Saturday at the Graceffa-Preda house and today is going to be a fun and special day because today everyone is going to celebrate Koa's first birthday!

Koa's birthday is actually tomorrow but Joey and Daniel wanted to celebrate it today because Joey and Daniel have family members that flew in from Massachusetts to attend!

A few family members were unable to fly to California to attend, however they will be there virtuality on Zoom!

Joey's sister Nicole, brother-in-law Sean and nephew Jay can't come due to Nicole being pregnant and her doctor not wanting her to fly.

Daniel's brother Jakob, sister-in-law Skyler and nephew Luca cannot come either due to Skyler being due with her and Jakob's second baby boy Matteo in just a few weeks!

And finally, Joey's Aunt Beth stayed home because she helps take care of Joey's grandparents Martha and Bill and they are unable to travel due to their ages and Bill's health.

Right now, all of the kids are either hanging out in the playroom or the living room!

Maria just brought Koa's birthday cake home and smash cake and Daniel and Joey are getting all of the party food together in the kitchen.

Koa wobbles around the house with Aspen and Everett following closely behind, videoing and taking many pictures of Koa.

"Do you have some paparazzi following you birthday boy? Hmm? Hmm?" Daniel says to Koa as Koa giggles loudly.

"Ba ba ba baaa!" Koa says as he does grabby hands at Daniel and Daniel picks up Koa and kisses his cheek.

"Yeah! Today is your birthday party, baby! Are you excited?" Joey asks Koa, kissing his other cheeks.

"Aaaa! Aaaa!" Koa says happily.

"Your first birthday is tomorrow! I can't believe you are already one years old!" Joey says to Koa, playing with his thick blonde hair.

"It was a year ago tomorrow that we found out you existed in our shower!" Daniel says as Koa babbles.

Daniel, Joey, Aspen and Everett all laugh at Daniel's little joke.

"Koa and Sienna are the best players of hide and seek!" Everett says with a smile.

"That's for sure!" Aspen says with a grin.

"What are younger your siblings doing?" Daniel asks Aspen and Everett as he begins to make a charcuterie board of fruit and veggies.

"Havey, Luna, Riv and Max are playing Mario Party and Eden, Ash, Bria, TT And Sie are coloring while listening to Bluey." Aspen explains to Daniel.

"I knew I heard the Bluey music somewhere!" Daniel says as Joeys laughs.

"It will be in my head all day!" Daniel says as Joey laughs again.

"Where's the babies, Daddy and Papa?" Everett asks Joey and Daniel as he eats a carrot.

"Nonna is with them upstairs while they nap. I think she is wrapping Koa's birthday presents too." Joey says to Everett and Aspen.

"Aaa! Aaa!" Koa babbles at Aspen.

"Do you want, sissy? Here you go." Daniel says, handing Koa to Aspen.

Aspen hugs Koa tightly and gives him a kiss with Koa kissing her back,

"Hi, Koa Bear. Do you wanna go outside and see the doggies?" Aspen says in a babyfied voice at Koa, causing his face to light up.

"Aaaa!" Koa says, pointing outside.

"Okay! Let's go!" Aspen says as she and Koa go outside to see Wolf, Storm, Lark, Moon, Montana and Hunter!

Sienna runs into the kitchen and she is crying, causing Joey and Daniel to both frown.

"Uh oh! What's wrong, Sie Sie?" Joey asks Sienna.

"TT and Ash no share!" Sienna says, wiping her tears and Joey frowns at Daniel.

"Tristan and Ash won't share? Aw, I'm sorry baby. Come here, it's okay." Joey says as he picks up Sienna and holds her close.

Daniel goes into the playroom to talk to Ash and Tristan, making sure they share with their sisters.

Eden and Bria walk into the kitchen, making sure their sister is okay, causing Joey to smile at his kind sweet daughters.

- Two Hours Later

Joey, Daniel, Maria, Aspen, Everett, Maxwell, Haven, Luna, River, Eden, Ash, Bria, Tristan, Sienna, Koa, Caspian and Emersyn are now all patiently waiting for their family members to arrive!

Just then, the door bell rings, causing everyone to get excited!

"Let's go see who it is, Koa! Let's see who it is!" Joey says as Koa babbles in lots of excitement.

Wolf, Lark, Moon, Montana, Hunter and Storm all run over to the front door, barking loudly.

"Okay! Okay! Back up, doggies! Back up!" Joey says to all of the dogs as he carefully opens the front door.

Hope, Drake and DJ are all happily standing on the porch with lots of presents.

"Happy birthday, Koa!" Drake and DJ both say in unison with big smiles.

"Happy first birthday, Koa bear! You are the birthday boy today! Yay!" Hope says in a babyfied voice at Koa.

Koa happily babbles at Hope and Joey hands Koa to her to hold.

"Hey bestie!" Daniel says as he walks over to the front door and hugs Hope.

"Hey, bestie! Where are the other babies?" Hope asks as she, Koa, Joey, Drake and DJ all walk over to the living room.

"Casp and Emmy are being held by their Nonna." Daniel says with a smile.

Maria smiles at Hope, Drake and DJ and manages to wave at them while she holds Caspian and Emersyn.

The rest of the kids come over to greet Hope, Drake and DJ before they go back to what they were doing with DJ tagging along.

"Who's all coming today?" Hope asks as she and Drake sit down on the couch across from Caspian, Maria and Emersyn, who are sitting in the recliner while Joey and Daniel are sitting on the other couch.

"My brother Alexandru, his wife Liz and their daughter Alina! Joe, Saundra, Alex, Cameron, Debbie, Bob and Jett!" Daniel says happily.

"Nicole, Jay, Sean, Aunt Beth, Grandma Martha, Grandpa Will, Jakob, Skyler and Luca will join us via Zoom! Nicole and Skyler can't travel due to being pregnant. Aunt Beth, Grandma and Grandpa all just had covid so they didn't want to fly just yet." Joey says.

"Skyler is due in March so it's too late to travel and Nicole's doctor doesn't want her traveling." Daniel explains.

"Aww, two more babies are coming into the family! That's so fun!" Hope says with a big cheeky grin.

"It is! Danny and I love spoiling Nicole and Skyler! We have bought a lot of things for their babies already." Joey says with a smile.

"And my mom loves to spoil babies! She spends most of her money spoiling the kids!" Daniel says, causing everyone to laugh.

"I do! They are my life and they give me such joy! I am such a lucky Nonna." Maria says proudly.

Hope picks up Emersyn to hold her while Drake is holding Caspian. Koa is sitting on Maria's lap and is playing with her necklace.

"You love Nonna's necklace? Hmm?" Maria asks Koa and Koa smiles at her.

"Ba baaaa!" Koa says as he smiles at Maria and Maria gives him some kisses, causing Koa to giggle loudly.

"Aww, babies look so cute with you two!" Joey says to Hope and Drake.

"Maybe one day! Let us get married first!" Hope says playfully to Joey and Daniel.

"Make me a Uncle! I love being an uncle you know!" Daniel says playfully.

DJ, Aspen, Everett and Maxwell are playing Mario Kart, Luna, River and Eden are playing outside and Ash, Bria, Tristan and Sienna are playing with Play Doh!

Joey, Daniel, Aspen, Everett, Maxwell, Haven, Luna, River, Eden, Ash, Bria, Tristan, Sienna, Koa, Caspian, Emersyn, Maria, Hope, DJ and Drake all hang out while they wait for family to arrive!

The front door bell begins to ring, causing Wolf, Storm, Lark, Moon, Montana and Hunter to all bark loudly and run over.

"Wolfie! Monty! Hunt! Stormy! Lark and Moonie! Enough!" Daniel says as he tries to get the dogs to stop barking because he knows that can trigger Jett's sensory processing disorder.

Jett absolutely loves animals but he can't take all of the noise at once.

"Koa! More family is here for your birthday party! Do you wanna see them?" Joey asks Koa as he holds him.

"Yaaa! Aaaa!" Koa yells as he claps his hands.

"Okay! Let's go!" Joey says as he and Koa both walk over to the front door!

Joey opens the front door and are greeted by Alexandru, Liz, Alina, Debbie, Bob, Jett, Joe, Saundra, Alex and Cameron all standing on the front porch with many birthday presents, either in special bags or wrapped up and many balloons!

"Hey hey hey! Come on in everyone! Come on in!" Daniel says as he greets his brother, sister-in-law, niece, father-in-law, stepmother-in-law, mother-in-law, stepfather-in-law, brother-in-law, stepsister-in-law and stepbrother-in-law one by one.

"Thank you all for coming! We are so happy to have all of you here to celebrate Koa!" Joey says as Koa babbles and smiles at everyone.

"Happy birfday baby Koa!" Alina says sweetly as she twirls around and smiles.

"Happy birthday, Koa!" Alex, Cameron, Alexandru and Liz all say in unison to Koa causing Koa to clap his hands.

"Happy birthday, sweet baby boy!" Saundra says as she kisses Koa's cheek.

"Happy first birthday, Koa!" Bob says with a big smile.

"Happy birthday, baby boy!" Debbie says in a babyfied voice causing Koa to giggle.

"Jett, remember what today is?" Bob asks his son and Jett answers right away.

"Koa birthday!" Jett says, flapping his arms with excitement.

"It is! Now what do you tell him? Remember?" Debbie asks Jett with a big smile.

"Appy birfday baby Koa!" Jett says, causing Debbie and Bob to smile.

"Aww, thank you Uncle Jett! Koa loves you!" Joey says as Koa babbles and smiles at Jett, causing Jett to smile back.

Once Alexandru, Liz, Alina, Joe, Saundra, Alex, Cameron, Debbie, Bob and Jett all hug and kiss everyone, Jett and Alina go to hang out with the kids!

Bria, Tristan, Sienna, Alina and Koa all sit on the living room floor, playing with the many new toys Koa has already gotten from Joey, Daniel and Maria!

Jett is in the playroom, hanging out with Aspen, Everett, Maxwell and Haven as they get ready to play Mario Kart.

Luna, River, Eden and Ash all run into the kitchen to help Maria get everything ready everyone to enjoy shortly!

"Okay everyone! Danny and I are going to get the Zoom calls set up for Nicole, Jay, Sean, Aunt Beth, Grandma, Grandpa, Jakob, Skyler and Luca!" Joey says to everyone with a smile.

Daniel grabs the two iPads and sets them up in the middle of the living room!

Joey sets up the Zoom calls for Nicole, Jay and Sean and for Beth, Martha and Bill while Daniel sets up the Zoom call for Jakob, Skyler and Luca!

One by one, Nicole, Jay, Sean, Beth, Martha, Bill, Jakob, Skyler and Luca all join the Zoom calls and greet everyone but most importantly, the birthday boy Koa!

"Happy first birthday, Koa!" Nicole, Sean, Beth, Martha, Bill, Jakob and Skyler all say to Koa with smiles.

"Aaaaaa! Ba ba!" Koa squeals with lots of happiness.

"Happt birthday, Koa!" Luca says happily to his little cousin.

"What do you say to Koa, Jay?" Sean asks Jay as he smiles at his son.

"HAPPY BIRFDAY!" Jay yells at Koa as he claps his hands.

"Baaaa Aaaaaaaaa!" Koa squeals again.

"He says thank you, Jay! He loves you!" Joey says happily.

"WUV, KOA!" Jay yells happily causing everyone to giggle and smile.

Aspen, Everett, Maxwell, Haven, Luna, River, Eden, Ash, Bria, Tristan and Sienna all greet Nicole, Jay, Sean, Beth, Martha, Jakob, Skyler and Luca while Joey and Daniel hold Caspian and Emersyn so Nicole, Jay, Sean, Beth, Martha, Jakob, Skyler and Luca can see them!

For a few hours, Joey, Daniel, Aspen, Everett, Maxwell, Haven, Luna, River, Eden, Ash, Bria, Tristan, Sienna, Koa, Caspian, Emersyn, Maria, Hope, DJ, Drake, Alex, Liz, Alina, Joe, Saundra, Alex, Cameron, Debbie, Bob and Jett all hang out together with Nicole, Jay, Sean, Beth, Martha, Donald, Jakob, Skyler and Luca hanging out virtually!

Daniel, Koa and Joey are all sitting on the living room floor, infront of everyone as they open up Koa's birthday presents one by one!

"What do you think about all of your birthday presents, Koa? Hmmm?" Daniel asks Koa as he fixes Koa's hair that is sticking up.

"Aaaaaa!" Koa squeals as he kicks his feet and claps his hands.

"Yeah! You got so much stuff, buddy! You are a spoiled baby!" Joey says in a babyfied voice and kisses Koa's cheek.

"Thank you so much everybody for all of Koa's birthday presents! We are so grateful and love all of the love!" Daniel says to everyone.

"Yes! Thank you so so much!" Joey says happily to everyone.

Koa crawls over to the wrapping paper pieces that are on the floor from opening birthday presents and begins to play with it!

"Out of all of the presents, the wrapping paper is his favorite!" Haven says, causing everyone to laugh loudly as Koa laughs too as he rolls around in the wrapping paper!

"It's birthday cake time!" Daniel says as the kids cheer happily, excited to have some birthday cake.

Everyone gathers in the dining room to sing happy birthday to Koa and enjoy some birthday cake!

Aspen and Everett help carry the birthday cake everyone to eat and enjoy while Daniel holds Koa's smash cake!

"Koa bear! Let's eat some birthday cake! Mmm! Mmm!" Joey says to Koa in a babyfied voice causing Koa to cheer.

"Aaaa aaaa!" Koa says, clapping his hands and smiles ear to ear.

Joey places Koa into his high chair while Daniel places the smash cake in front of Koa, causing Koa to get very excited!

"Ooo! He wants that smash cake!" Hope says as she begins to take pictures of Koa with his smash cake.

Maxwell hands Daniel the 1 birthday candle and Daniel places it in the middle of Koa's smash cake before lighting it up.

"Okay! Let's sing happy birthday to the birthday boy!" Joey says as Koa smiles ear to ear and squeals happily.

"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday dear Koa! Happy birthday to you!" Joey, Daniel, Aspen, Everett, Maxwell, Haven, Luna, River, Eden, Ash, Bria, Tristan, Sienna, Hope, DJ, Drake, Alex, Liz, Alina, Joe, Saundra, Alex, Cameron, Debbie, Bob, Jett, Nicole, Jay, Sean, Beth, Martha, Bill, Jakob, Skyler and Luca all sing in unison to Koa.

Joey and Daniel help Koa blow out his candle, causing everyone to cheer loudly.

"Okay, bud! Eat up!" Daniel says as he quickly takes the candle out of the cake and Koa digs in causing everyone to laugh.

Koa happily enjoys his smash cake, mostly playing with it and jamming it on his face. Koa also puts some cake on Joey and Daniel, causing everyone to chuckle and smile.

"Mmm!" Daniel says with a grin.

"This is so sweet! Yum!" Joey says with a giggle and a smile.

After Koa is finished with his smash cake, Joey and Daniel cut up pieces of birthday cake for everyone!

For the rest the day, Joey, Daniel, Aspen, Everett, Maxwell, Haven, Luna, River, Eden, Ash, Bria, Tristan, Sienna, Koa, Caspian, Emersyn, Maria, Hope, DJ, Drake, Alex, Liz, Alina, Joe, Saundra, Alex, Cameron, Debbie, Bob and Jett all celebrate Koa's birthday with him while Nicole, Jay, Sean, Beth, Martha, Bill, Jakob, Skyler and Luca all celebrate him via the zoom stream! :)
