Jane went up to check on Felix and Demitri, hoping Aro would make an exception to the law and let Edward stay with the volturi. At least then she would have someone other than Marcus to talk to about her pain.

As Jane reached the door she started to cry, as a faint wisp of Zach's sent hit her noise. She figured it was just the wind blowing it out form his old room that she refused to let Aro take down.  Wiping the tears away she walked out to where Felix and Demitri stood with a pixie of a girl, Alice, the lightly bronze haired Edward, and a brown haired girl, she presumed was Bella.

"Aro sent me out here to see what was taking so long." she said, tilling her head. She sent Edward a mental thought 'if you try anything funny I will give her the max of my pain, so then she will want to die.'

"Bella, why don't you go and enjoy the festival." Edward whispered to her.

"No, she comes with us." Jane told them, leading them inside.

As they past the receptionist she heard Bella asking about her, "Will she be?" Bella asked. Edward hesitated so Jane took the opportunity to torment her.

"For desert." she said, opening the throne room doors.

As Zach stepped out of the castle, he got a whiff of his loves beautiful raspberry sent. If he did not know she was dead then he would have run to it, as it drifted from the side of the castle he was forbidden to go to.

Zach stepped out into the dark ally, put his hands across his chest like a mummy, and went human as he stepped out to enjoy the festival. Zach loved being able to use his power on himself it allowed him to go out and live for a few hours in the sun.  He wished every day, he wished that he could have shown Jane his power but it didn't work on newborns. Aro hypothesized it was because newborns are still part human themselves.
