How could he do that? She just came waltzing into the cattle and he let them go! She was human and humans we're suppose to be killed immediately if they knew!

Alec walked in to find Jane quite literally burning a hole in the floor, " Was up, sister?"

"Aro has become soft, he let a human go!" She told him.

"So?"Alec knew Aro must have a good reason, if he did let her go.

"We're going to fix his mistake before it gets out of hand." She grinned.

Zach plopped down on the couch in his room. his belly full of sweet and sugary pastries. This would be one of his last festivals in less than three years he would be leaving Volturi castle.

He opened up is closet door where he had put the old painted portrait of his one and only love. He laid his hand against the cold glass wishing he could have gotten to dance with her at the festival. He could just imagine watching her dance in one of thoughts dresses from the shop windows, him pulling her closer when ever another man looked at her too long. Of course they would have been married now and the ring on her finger would show it, but he would still be over protective.

"Zach, dude you in here?" his buddies yelled through to door.

"Yeah, I'm back." He shouted back.

"Still moping about that girl? she's dead getting over it already!" Santiago, his best friend, told him.

"I can't! I love her too much." Zach could feel drops of venom dripping out of his eyes, even though vampires couldn't cry he had managed to do so on many occasions.

"Ok, well it's dark out now would you like to go out with us for a few drinks?" Zach knew what he meant by that they couldn't get drunk but his buddies weren't going for that.

"No, I'm going to stay here." Zach responded.
