Jane went on guard duty, for the first time, early the next day; she wanted to get her hours out of the way just so she could go out with Zach. She glanced at the clock only a few more minute she thought then went back to recalling the night before.

Zach had taken her hunting in a small town right outside of Italy; she loved the feeling of freedom as she ran faster than a horse. As they reached the village Zach’s hand instinctively went around her waist. He later used it when she almost went on a frenzy, which would have killed half the town. When they got back Zach kissed her good night and went to get his hours taken care of.

A cold, but warm, set of arms raped around her waist, snapping her out of her memory. "Are you done yet?"A voice said from behind her, making her giggle.

"um-" Jane looked back behind her at the clock," almost.... and now."

"Yes! Now we get to go somewhere fun." why was he so gritty about it was a date? They would be out of the house, she knew that much, but the rest was a surprise.

"Sister, Aro would like to speak to you." Jane turned to her brother who was giving Zach the evil eye. She gave Zach a kiss on the cheek and went in to the throne room.

"Yes, Aro?" she asked as she got in to the room.

"Jane, I have a mission for you. The Italian Covent just south of us is in a state of rebellion and I would like to send you to calm them down." Aro told her

"How long before I have to leave, sir?"

"I’ll give you a week to prepare if you have any questions feel free to ask Zach. He has gone on a few of these missions before and would love to help you." he answered. Jane nodded he head and walked out the door.

Jane and Zach were sitting out in the meadow just staring at each other. The day was cloudy so they didn't have to worry about someone walking by and seeing them sparkle. Jane looked at Zach, trying to come up with a way to tell him about the trip.

"Zach?" she finally spoke.

"Yes, my angle" he loves calling her that.

"I have to tell you something." he looked in to her eyes trying to read if this was a good thing or bad thing. Oh please, don't be breaking up with me, he thought unable to determine what it was. "I’m going on a trip to southern Italy, there's a Covent there acting up."

"Really so soon t-that's amazing, when do you leave?"he's face dropped at that last part, she would have to leave and he had gone one just a few weeks ago, Aro wouldn't let him go on another so soon.
