Pew Pew Bitch P2

Oh wow it's been more than a week since I posted the first part I think heck also I'm pretty sure this is Madilton if that's the name. Its not high up on my list of ships but okay I guess

Ever since Thomas left, James and Alex have been getting along pretty well.

Their old job collapsed and some of the workers formed a new group to hunt those who had done wrong to others for money. Basically mercenaries with Washington as the leader.

The economy declined significantly and things were becoming total chaos so there were multiple bases and groups that did similar jobs.

Alex and James found themselves with Washington along with John, Herc, Laf, and Maria. The Schuylers offered to move them all to a new state or country even but they declined so the Schuylers went to Canada (yes it exists).

Thomas was still no where to be found but no one really cared and ended up forgetting about him until one day.

Alex had been finishing up his last job, killing a male who had been claimed to have stolen money from a homeless man. The homeless man couldn't pay the whole amount to get the thief killed but Alex took pity on him and told him it was free.

Bad for business but whatever.

Alex walked out of the home, wiping the blood off his gloves and stashing his gun in his holster hidden behind his back.

Alex walked off to their apartments and opened the door, stepping inside. It was eerily quiet and that was offsetting to Alex.

He opened his mouth to say something but realized, as a killer himself pretty much, that was your one way ticket to being killed so he said nothing and inside pulled out his gun.

He creeped through the apartment room and gasped when he was shoved to a wall with a knife pressed to his neck.

Alex held still and didn't dare try and resist. That just increases your chances of getting your throat slit.

"Did you miss me darlin?" The person asked with a grin. Alex recognized the voice easily.

"T-Thomas? What the hell?!" Alex growled.

"Oh, you guys forgot about it that's all. I found myself a new job and guess what? It requires me to kill none other than the man in front of me now," Thomas explained, his grin never faltering.

"What job do you even work for?"

"I'm an accountant, surprising. This is just a side job. You know, you wouldn't be in this position if you didn't leave me for James or whatever," Thomas hissed.

"First of all, I'm not dating James. Second of all, you cheated on me so I had every right to leave your crazy ass," Alex said and silently raised the gun up to hopefully where Thomas' stomach was.

"Well too bad hun, it's the end of the line for you. This will be so much fun!" Thomas said cheerfully. He pressed the knife deeper and it formed a thin cut. Alex fired his gun and Thomas stumbled back, gripping his stomach where the gunshot was.

Unfortunately for Alex, reflex is a thing and Thomas made a somewhat deep cut across his throat. He gasped and fell to the ground, gripping his neck with one hand to slow down the bleeding. He quickly slid to the nearest table and yanked the cloth from it down and wrapped it around his neck.

He pulled out his phone and attempted to call James, anyone really, but Thomas managed to get up and grab Alex's gun again.

"That really hurt, why do we let you feel that pain too?" Thomas growled and pointed the gun at Alex's forehead while all Alex could do was helplessly slide out of the way and try and tell whoever was on the other end of the phone call to send some fucking help.

Thomas fired a shot and hit Alex in the arm, making him drop his phone.

"Hello? Hello? Alex what's going on?" It was James on the other end.

Another gunshot, it missed.

The line went silent but the call persisted. Thomas growled and kept trying to hit Alex.

He managed to get another shot in his arm before tossing the gun aside and grabbing the knife.

He stomped towards Alex, who had vigorously shuffling away with little progress. He was for sure bleeding out in multiple places and he could already taste the metallic flavor of metal in his mouth. Black spots danced lazily in his vision and the last thing he saw was Thomas turning his head towards the door and watching him fall to the ground.

Someone ran up to Alex and held the cloth over his neck, letting Alex's already weak hand fall to his side.

"Goddammit Alex..." Alex smiled slightly, it was James.

"Hey...looks like I've gotten myself in quite the situation..." Alex mumbled and let his eyelids drop slightly. James smacked his cheek and he groaned, opening his eyes again.

"Shut the hell up Alex don't you fucking dare die on me," James mumbled and looked back at the door. Alex tried to see who was there but it was all blurry.

He felt himself being lifted up and placed on something. Just before he was taken out of the apartment to what he assumed was the hospital, he felt a light kiss pressed against his lips.

Alex smiled more and let his eyes slip shut.

~•~

Alex blinked his eyes opened and hissed at the glare of white lights all around him. He felt nothing st first but then it all hit him at once and and he winced in pain, groaning quietly.

"Alex?" Someone, specifically James, was sitting in the chair in the room.

"Holy fuck I actually lived..." Alex mumbled, remembering everything that happened.

"Well you had everyone worried Mister slip-into-a-coma-for-a-month," James retorted, looking as if it pained him to say that.

"A month? Damn, is Thomas dead?"

James nodded. "Shot him dead with the first bullet. You had me real panicked there. It's not everyday you see your closest friend with 2 gunshot and a slit throat about to be stabbed," James chuckled, silently praying Alex didn't remember that quick kiss.

"Hey James?" Alex asked quietly, looking down.

James hummed in response and Alex motioned him over. James tilted his head in confusion but obeyed anyways.

Alex (despite the hurt arm) pulled James down into a kiss. It wasn't an ordinary kiss, it had more passion in it, like Alex had been waiting a while to do it.

James was surprised at first but eased into it, placing his arms around Alex's waist while Alex gently held his face.

When Alex pulled away, he was a blushing mess. James grinned.

"I've been waiting way too long to do that," Alex muttered.

"I can tell, can't say I didn't feel the same."

Alex just laughed and kissed James again.

Oh look at that a good ending for once holy shit.
