What the Conch Shell Says
What the Conch Shell Says
Soon enough, much to James and Fred's dismay, it was Saturday- the day that the boys agreed was a good day to go to the library and decipher the Ancient Greek words on the conch shell with Ali.
"I hate the library!" exclaimed Fred at breakfast.
"You've never been in it, Fred." Ali told him, due to him acting like a three year old.
"Libraries are for book worms like Aunt Hermione and mum!" exclaimed Fred.
"Did you just insult Aunt Madison?" asked Teddy, who, like normal, was eavesdropping from down the table.
"No- I didn't insult my mum..." Fred said, worried that he'll tell his mother, and that Fred would receive a Howler.
If there was one thing that Harry and Madison had in common- it was their anger. Hermione said that when they both blew up at each other in their third year, she and Ron were surprised that there wasn't a volcanic eruption or the apocalypse coming.
"I won't tell- or, will I?" Teddy teased. "No, I'm joking, I already got a Howler from her and mum last week..." he grimmianced.
Teddy would call Ginny mum, and Harry dad, since he lived with them. Teddy's parents, Nymphadora Lupin (nee Tonks), who would only be called Tonks since she hated her first name, and Remus Lupin (who was also Madison's godfather), had been killed in the war eighteen years ago.
Once, Harry told Teddy about his father and his Aunt Madison- how in their third year, Lupin taught D.A.D.A, and Madison found out that he was her godfather. He told Teddy how upset his sister was when he had left- she cried, and hugged him for the longest time. Teddy was going to question his Aunt at the Christmas Holidays about his parents.
"Ouch- man, Teddy, I've seen mum yell enough- but Aunt Madison and her?" James stated.
Fred, James, and Teddy's cousin, Molly (who was Uncle Percy and Aunt Audrey's daughter) concluded for James by saying- "I'm pretty sure the penguins in Antarctica could hear them..."
The boys and Ali left the Great Hall, and Ali wished to never be on the end of a Weasley woman's anger.

James and Fred had managed to convince Ali to let them borrow her Transfiguration homework- but James immediately knew that there was only one reason why she did it- Ali's handwriting was super tiny, and even though Professor McGonagall had only asked the first years for eight inches, Ali had managed to do a foot's worth- with tiny handwriting. That amazed James.
"My hand hurts." He whined as they sat in the common room after breakfast.
"Serves you right- you should have done that before today- it is something I like to call Karma." Ali slyly smiled.
"You are cruel person, Ali." Fred stated, with a bored look on his face.
"That's what my little sister says, but she knows nothing." Ali smiled.

"Come on, James, Fred." Ali stated to the two boys.
James and Fred and Ali went to the library, which was still run by Madame Pince, who was usually a crabby old lady who would make rounds and stick her head in student's homework and books.
Once Uncle Ron and James' had claimed that she was reading the horoscopes that they made up in their fourth year behind their shoulder. However, Fred's mum and Aunt Hermione said that they actually left their homework on the table in the library, so Madame Pince had kindly brought it back to the two boys. Uncle Ron and James' dad snorted and muttered something along the lines of 'Kind? More like-'and the next word they had said earned a smack on the back of the head from Hermione and Ginny. Madison was laughing too hard to notice or care.
Ali took out the Conch Shell, and with a book of Ancient Greek writing and a key to the writing propped up against the wall (the table was by the wall, and Fred and James appreciated that so they could leant their heads against it- though, James had reached the only chair available first, so Fred had to keep his head up because Ali put all the books out in front of the ginger), she began to decipher what the Conch Shell said.
James and Fred watched with interest as she wrote down the symbol and the English letter that it was equivalent to on a spare piece of parchment. She hid it with her book- which, in James opinion, meant something bad.
Once the blonde-haired girl with colorful streaks in her hair was finished, her face went pale. She stuffed her books, the conch shell and her quill into her book bag, and put the piece of parchment, carefully folded it, and put it into her jean pocket.
"What's wrong, Ali?" asked James, worried due to his friend's facial expression.
"Where are we going?" asked Fred, curious.
"The Room of Requirement- Teddy told me about it and where it is located."
"And why are we going there?" Fred and James asked her in sync.
"Because- it's dangerous to explain what the Conch Shell says in the hallways- or the common room, library- anywhere in this school."
"So it says something bad?"
"No, James, it means something good- that's not why I said it's dangerous to talk about in the halls of Hogwarts!" she sarcastically stated.
"God, just asking..." James said, putting his hands up in surrender.
James punched Fred on the shoulder; he had heard his cousin snort at him.
Ali walked back and forth between blank walls.
'Somewhere where we can talk privately...' she had thought to herself, hoping the room would give her what she needed; what she required.
Soon, to the trio's amazement, a huge door opened up to them. Together they entered, and they each sat on an individual armchair that were gathered around a small coffee table.
Ali carefully took out the parchment out of her jean pocket, and the Conch Shell out of her book bag.
"It says," a bit of worry and anxiety in her voice. "This:
'Every thousand years
One person's greatest dream is
To find me.
I will show their greatest wish,
They're greatest desire.
Against the sailors and rocks in the sea
My call is fatal
Many have perished before me.
They never return
And we three keep them
In our souls
For nobody to see.
One simple spell must be said
Thrice to kill us three,
And release your prisoner.
Someday soon
The last one will come
And our fatal song,
The Call of the Sirens,
Will keep that prisoner for eternity-
Because they listened to our fatal call.'"
James and Fred looked at Ali with curiosity.
"And how, exactly, is this important, Ali?" James asked the girl.
Ali took a deep breath, and told Fred and James why she was so nervous, anxious, and scared.
"This is important because many witches and wizards have went and searched for the Sirens- and nobody knows if they had found them or not- they never returned. And the Shell only comes to one group of three- and it's said that that group of three, that trio...."
She paused for a dramatic effect, and then started to speak again.
"Can kill the Sirens with a hard spell that has never been mastered before, or die trying."

So.....
Who do you guys think that the one who will try and find the Sirens, be taken as a prisoner, and have to be saved?
If you want a hint, read below really quick:
In one of the previous chapters (I think it was the last chapter...), somebodies family is explained, and there is a major hint on what somebody does for a living- and knowing that person, they would want to search for the Sirens, but perhaps is taken by the fatal call.....
