"James Avery you can call me James when we are not in school ok."

Avery:
"Did you bring me to your house to learn math because you think that I didn't learn a lot and that you need to teach me faster since we have the weekend together was this your plan the whole time?"

Mr Maslow:
"No Avery this is not my plan it was never my plan and it will never become my plan."

Avery:
"Then why?"

Mr Maslow:
"Then why what Avery I do not know why you are talking about?"

Avery:
"Why did you do all of this then?"

Mr Maslow:
"Avery from the moment I have saw you I know you are stubborn but I can see something in you and that is love and that is love that you have for those kids and the way you are always there for them even if you never sleep Avery that is amazing I just love that I see a little girl always there for everyone else just not for herself and this way Avery you can get some sleep but for once you can just be yourself and you do not have to take care of anyone else just yourself."

Avery:
"But what happen if I love taking care of people besides myself."

Mr Maslow:
"I know you do Avery but do you think that is a good idea?"

Avery:
"I do not know that is all I have been doing for my whole life."

"Well now it is time for someone to look after you not for you to be looking after anyone else for the weekend."

"I would do the same thing that Mr Hen did to you."

Avery:
"Put me on SEL."

Mr Maslow:
"Yep that is the one."

Avery:
"You will hurt me if you did find will you?"

"Yes I do understand."

Mr Maslow:

"I do not know Mr Maslow should I bake should I bark with you or not I thought you were my math teacher."

Mr Maslow:
"Ha ha very funny Avery."

Mr Maslow:
"Oh I am in."

Avery:
"Then let bake." This is how you guys can make white Christmas pavlova slab.

Prep: 20m
Cook: 1h 30m
Serves: 12

Ingredients
6 egg whites, at room temperature eggs
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
330g (1 1/2 cups) caster sugar
2 tsp cornflour
600ml ctn thickened cream
125ml (1/2 cup) coconut cream
125g fresh raspberries
5 Raffaello chocolates, halved
15g (1/4 cup) flaked coconut
30g (1/2 cup) mini white marshmallows
80g (1/2 cup) drained morello cherries
40g (1/4 cup) pistachio kernels, coarsely chopped
Fresh small mint sprigs and leaves, to decorate
Raspberry coulis
125g (1 cup) frozen raspberries
2 tbsp caster sugar

Mr Maslow:
"We have everything."

Avery:
"I know we do now let bake."

Step 1
Preheat oven to 120°C/100°C fan forced. Line a large baking tray with baking paper.

Step 2
Use electric beaters with the whisk attachment to whisk the 6 egg whites, at room temperature eggs and 1/2 tsp cream of tartar of tartar in a clean dry bowl until firm peaks form. Gradually add the 330g (1 1/2 cups) caster sugar, 1 tbsp at a time, whisking well after each addition until the 330g (1 1/2 cups) caster sugar dissolves and the mixture is thick and glossy. Add the 2 tsp cornflour and whisk until just combined.

Step 3
Use a large metal spoon to spoon the mixture onto the centre of the lined tray. Use the back of the spoon to shape the mixture into a 20cm x 30cm rectangle. Bake for 1 1/2 hours or until the pavlova is dry to the touch. Turn off the oven, then leave the pavlova in the oven with the door ajar for 2 hours to cool completely.

Step 4
Meanwhile, to make the 125g fresh raspberries coulis, place the frozen raspberries in a bowl and sprinkle with the 2 tbsp caster sugar. Set aside for 2 hours or until the 125g (1 cup) frozen raspberries are thawed and the sugar has dissolved. Use a fork to mash the raspberry mixture. Transfer to a fine sieve set over a bowl. Use the back of a spoon to press as much juice as possible into the bowl. You should have about 60ml (1/4 cup) strained coulis. Discard the seeds and set the coulis aside.

Step 5
Use an electric mixer to whisk the 600ml ctn thickened cream and 125ml (1/2 cup) coconut cream in a bowl until firm peaks form. Gently fold the coulis through the cream to create a marble effect.

Step 6
When ready to serve, transfer the pavlova to a large serving platter. Top with the cream mixture. Scatter with the 125g fresh raspberries, 5 Raffaello chocolates, halved, 15g (1/4 cup) flaked coconut, 30g (1/2 cup) mini white marshmallows, 80g (1/2 cup) drained morello cherries and 40g (1/4 cup) pistachio kernels, coarsely chopped. Decorate with Fresh small mint sprigs and leaves, to decorate. Serve immediately.

Avery:
And this how does it look like.
