Hi guys I've got some sad news, very recently another star in live action and the animation world has passed away. That star was  David Ogden Stiers.

Now even if you didn't know who this guy was you sure as hell would have heard his voice as he has been in many films and shows of our childhood.

He was Cogsworth in the Beauty And The Beast films, Ratcliffe and his assistant Wiggins in the Pocahontas films, the alien scientist Dr. Jumba Jookiba in the Lilo & Stich films and tv series, Archdeacon in The Hunchback Of Notre Dame film, Nicky Flippers in the Hoodwinked films and very recently from 2011 - 2016 he has been the voice of Mr Maellard in Regular Show.

Those are mostly the characters I remember him playing and characters we know him from, though I haven't seen The Hunchback Of Notre Dame I still know it's a very important and popular film from Disney.

He has also appeared in cartoons, shows, and films outside of Disney.

Animes such as My Neighbours The Yamadas, Porco Roso, and Spirited Away.

The DC animated universe appearing in the Justice League cartoons and the direct to dvd batman film : Batman The Mystery Of The Batwoman, as well as Static Shock.

And Nickelodeon's The Angry Beavers and The Wild Thornberrys

He also appeared in many live action films and shows, I don't know a lot about the films he's in but for shows that's a whole nother story.

He appeared in live action shows such as Star Trek The Next Generation, Stargate Atlantis and most notably the live action show everyone will know him from M*A*S*H as Major Charles Emerson Winchester III. He also performed in many plays as well.

David Ogden Stiers passed away in his home in Newport Oregon on March 3rd 2018, at the age of 75, from complications related to Bladder Cancer.

May he forever rest in peace and may we forever remember the many characters he brought to life right in front of our eyes and will stay with us for many years to come.
