Y/n P.O.V

Thomas returned from court with a request that I wasn't expecting.
"Thomas what are you doing here?My parents aren't home" I tell him
"That will have to wait,I'm here on the Kings business" Thomas says
"Are you leaving town?" I ask him
"No,the king would like to meet you actually" Thomas says,I stare at him in shock.

The King of England wants to meet me
"Why,have I done something wrong?" I ask
"No the king noticed a change in me and would like to meet the reason why" Thomas explained"I had every intention of coming to see you today anyway"
"You had?" I ask curious.

"I wish to announce to everyone that we are together" Thomas says
"Are you asking me to marry you?" I ask
"I am"
"Yes I will marry you" when my parent's came home,we told them the news and my dad helped me to move in with Thomas,but court first.

I put on my best dress and went with my fiancé to court to meet the king. When we go there however the king is busy so we had to wait. I grew nervous about the other ladies around, there dresses are much finer and they have jewels,I don't
"What's wrong my dear?" Thomas asks me
"I feel out of place, like I shouldn't be here"

"Y/n you have every right to be here, the king himself wants to meet you" Thomas reassured me
"They are more beautiful than me" I say sadly
"What those ugly crows. You Y/n are the most beautiful woman in all of England" Thomas tells me
"That's sweet of you Thomas" I tell him,the next moment we are summoned to the king.

We enter the room he is in and the king is sat on a throne with another man beside him
"Your majesty,your grace,this is my fiancé Miss Y/n L/n" Thomas says. The king stands up and makes his way over to me,he circles around me before saying
"Thomas you have a fine lady on your hands,if she wasn't your finance I would have her myself"

I blush slightly at the comment from the king
"Will Miss L/n be coming back to court more often?" The other man asks
"We shall discuss it your grace" Thomas says.
"Of course she will be" the king says"After the wedding, you will come to court and be companion to the queen" The king says to me.

"Thank you,your majesty" I say curtsying to the king
"If you keep Cromwell here happy,then you are always welcome at my court" the king smiles.

After Y/n and Thomas left,Henry turns to Charles
"Thoughts?" Henry asks
"How on earth did Cromwell get such a fine beauty?" Charles asks
"So you admit she is no dog" the king smirks
"I wouldn't mind having a go on that fillie,that's for sure" Charles says
"Well you can't she is with Cromwell,don't forget my money."
