Chapter 19

Halos wala rin akong naging tulog dahil 5:00 a.m. pa lang ay nagising na kaagad ako. Maaga kasi ang pasok ni Ruby ngayon kaya hindi ako pwedeng ma-late kahit na kaonting minuto lang.

Kailangan mas maaga ako sa kan'ya sa pagpunta sa bahay nila. I don't care if she'll just push me away. Kailangan kaming magkaayos ngayon.

Almost 6:00 a.m. nang makarating ako sa harap ng compound nila. I didn't went out of my car because if Ruby finds out that I am here, she'll just sneak out somewhere I could never find her.

That woman is really tricky sometimes, but I know her so well. Hindi na gagana sa akin ang mga plano niyang umiwas sa akin dahil gagawin ko ang lahat, magkaayos lang kami. I don't care if I'll lose my job for staying here for too long. What's important for me is to make up with her.

I almost sleep inside my car again. Napabalikwas na lang ako nang may kumatok sa bintana ng sasakyan ko. I looked at that person and saw a pretty woman wearing her white uniform. This must be Honey Lette; her cousin from med school.

I quickly rolled down the window of the driver's seat.

"Why are you not coming inside? Friend ka ni Ruby, 'di ba? I saw your car last night too, so I know you."

Napalunok ako bago tumango at itinaas ulit ang bintana, tsaka lumabas ng sasakyan ko. She offered me a handshake.

"I guess we didn't meet yet. I am Honey. Hennessey's sister and Ruby's cousin."

I took her hand to accept her handshake. "Uhm, Jin Harold. I am courting Ruby."

She laughed as she tapped my shoulder after letting go of the handshake. "I know. Anyway, maarte 'yang si Ruby, pagpasensiyahan mo na. Alam kong magkaaway kayo ngayon kasi ako ang best friend niyan sa aming magpipinsan. Suyuin mo na lang."

Tumango ako at ngumiti sa kan'ya. "Thank you."

She laughed. "Okay lang. Alam ko namang seryoso ka. Sige na, pumasok ka na sa loob. The gate is open."

"Do you want me to drive you to school first?"

She laughed. "Hindi na! My boyfriend's on the way already. She'll be here any minute."

Tumango ako sa kan'ya at nagpasalamat bago pumasok sa loob ng gate nila, since bukas naman nga ang maliit na gate nila.

I was walking towards Ruby's house inside the compound when I saw Lola Theresa sitting in her rocking chair at her ancient house' front porch. Lumapit ako ro'n at nagmano.

"Magandang umaga po," I greeted her.

"Magandang umaga, hijo," she tapped my head as she chuckled. "Napakagwapo mo talaga. Nami-miss ko tuloy ang apo kong si George."

Ruby told me once that Lola's favourite is George that's why in every guy that comes here, Lola Theresa would mention him. Hindi naman din nagkaroon ng tampuhan ang mga magpipinsan dahil naiintindihan daw nila.

"Pupuntahan mo ba ang maarte kong apo?"

I laughed with what she called Ruby. Lahat na yata ng tao rito sa compound nila, maarte ang tawag sa kan'ya.

"Pupuntahan ko po 'yung maganda niyong apo," pagtatama ko.

Lola Theresa laughed with what I said. "Nakakatuwa ka talaga. O sige, na. Puntahan mo na."

"Maraming salamat po."

Matagal pa siyang humawak sa kamay ko na para bang gustong-gusto niya ako, bago niya ako tuluyang binitiwan. Tuluyan na akong dumiretso sa dulong bahay ng compound kung nasaan ang pinakamagandang bahay ng compound na ito. Napahinto ako sa paglalakad nang makita ko si Ruby na suot ang uniform niya na para bang professional chef na siya. Pati siya ay napahinto nang makita ako.

"Anong ginagawa mo rito?" tanong niya sa akin nang magkasalubong ang dalawang kilay.

"Uh, pinapasok ako ni Honey..."

Umirap siya sa kawalan na para bang nainis siya sa sinabi ko. "Okay, enjoy your stay."

After she told me that, she walked past me like I'm some unwelcomed guest. I almost laughed. Tama naman kasi talagang maarte si Ruby pero kahit na maarte siya, sobrang sarap pa rin naman kasing kasama at hindi filtered ang mga sinasabi niya. Walang pagpapanggap pagdating sa kan'ya.

"I'm here to drive you to school," I said while following her.

"I can go to school on my own, you know?"

"I know but I want to drive you to school."

She faced me, irritated. "Ayaw ko nga, eh."

I sighed as I held both of her hands. "Baby, I'm sorry. Please... don't be like this. Hindi na ako maglilihim ulit. I promise."

I saw her faced turned red for some reasons. She looked away as she cleared her throat. "S-Stop calling me baby, I'm not your girlfriend."

"But you're my baby..."

She glared at me. "Hindi ako nakikipagbiruan."

"Hindi rin ako nakikipagbiruan."

Tumahimik siya at tinitigan ako ulit nang masama. I give up on that. "Okay," she smirked. "Robitussin," I continued.

And with that, hindi na niya napigilan pa ang pagtawa niya nang malakas. This woman, really. Ano ba talaga? Galit ba siya o pinagti-tripan niya ako?

"Ano, 'yan na lang itatawag mo sa akin?" kunwari ay irita niya pang sabi pero halata namang nagpipigil pa rin siya ng tawa.

"Kung mapapatawa naman kita, bakit hindi?"

She slapped my chest. "Tumigil ka. Hindi pa rin tayo bati." I chuckled as I pulled her closer to hug her. "Humanda ka kapag nakita tayo ni Daddy."

I chuckled. "Okay lang. Boto naman sila sa akin," she laughed before she hugged me back. "I'm sorry, baby. I missed you so much."

"I'm sorry din. I suddenly feel guilty for getting jealous at Ate Anna. I'm sorry for all the words I told you last night. Ganoon lang talaga ako kapag galit."

I hugged her tighter. "I'm really, really sorry for making you feel those things. Hindi ko sinasadya. I'm sorry. I love you."

She chuckled before moving away from the hug.

"Did you eat last night?" she asked. I shook my head that made her forehead creased. "What? Why?"

I held her left hand and intertwined our fingers. "Paano naman ako makakakain nang maayos kung galit ka?"

She glared at me. "Bakit naman kasi sa Mount Cabuyao mo ako dinala kagabi, pwede namang kumain ka muna bago tayo nagpunta ro'n," she rolled her eyes at me that made me chuckle. "Did you eat your breakfast?"

I shook my head. She was about to shout at me when I started talking. "I was planning to eat breakfast with you!" I laughed. "Calm down. Ang liit liit mo pero nakakatakot kang magalit."

She laughed. "Shut up. Tara na nga, kumain ka na."

We started walking away until we went out of the gate. "How about you?"

"Kumain na ako. Sasamahan na lang kita."

Umiling ako bago siya pinagbuksan ng pintuan sa shotgun seat. "No. You will eat too. Kaya hindi ka lumalaki, eh."

Tumawa siya nang malakas kasabay ng paghampas niya sa braso ko. "Ang kapal ng mukha mo! Por que malaki ka!"

I acted surprise with what she said. "How did you know?"

"Alin?"

"Na malaki...ako?"

Muli siyang humagalpak ng tawa bago ako pinaghahampas. I laughed because of her shy face. "Napakabastos mo!"

"I missed you, that's why."

She rolled her eyes at me before she entered the car. I closed the door before I walked to the driver's seat and entered inside. I saw her buckling her seatbelt.

"Saan mo gustong kumain?" she asked before facing me.

I shrugged. "All I need is your lips, mabubusog na ako, promise."

Inirapan niya lang ako bago sinabi ang lugar na masarap kainan ng breakfast malapit sa SLU. I agreed to her, tutal, nararamdaman ko na rin naman ang gutom ko. Ngayon ko na lang ulit naramdaman 'yung gutom ko simula kagabi. Parang wala rin kasi akong gana.

We ate in a Tapsilogan, her favourite go-to place kapag daw sawa na siya sa mga pagkain na isini-serve sa kanila. I may look like I am living a very well-off life but I certainly eat these foods. Masarap kaya.

After we ate, we drove to her university. She's thirty minutes early for her first class because she really planned to leave very early. Alam na alam niyang pupuntahan ko siya, eh. Hindi nga lang niya alam na mas prepared ako kaysa sa kan'ya. I smirked to myself.

"Saan ka nga nag-i-stay?" she asked while we're inside the car in front of their university.

"Hotel," I held her hand. "Pupuntahan mo ba ako?" I asked before kissing her hand.

She chuckled. "Pwede naman."

"Really?" she laughed as she nodded. "Should I prepare something?"

She laughed. "Hindi na. I'll bring foods."

"That's not what I meant."

Sinampal niya ako nang pabiro kasabay ng malakas niyang tawa. "Can we not stay in front of the school? Nakakahiya baka hindi tinted 'yung sasakyan mo."

"Tinted 'yan!"

"Kahit na!" she laughed. "Bilis na."

I shrugged before I started driving away. Lumayo lang ako nang bahagya sa school nila para siguradong hindi siya mali-late sa first class niya. Nang medyo makalayo na ay huminto na ako sa pagdi-drive sa gilid bago ako mabilis na bumaling sa kan'ya at hinalikan siya. She kissed me back as she snaked her arms around my nape.

I unbuckled her seatbelt and carried her. I sat her on my lap without breaking the kiss. She slightly grind that made my member down there harder than it was.

"Jin," she moaned my name as I kissed her neck. "Y-You're hard..."

"I missed you..." I whispered in her ear as I slightly move her skirt upward to hold her thighs. "I missed you so much."

I kissed her lips again as I pulled her closer to my, wanting her more. I know that I have no rights to ask for more but I really, really, want to do it with her. Fuck, I've never been like this before. I'm going crazy for her, damn.

"Jin..." she moaned as I pulled her closer to me. "I can... f-feel you."

I heard her gulped. I can feel her so tensed. She's nervous, I know. I kissed her lips again. My hands went to her head back, kissing her more.

"I'm sorry," I whispered in between our kisses.

"For?"

I sucked her mouth before I break the kiss to answer her question. "For making you nervous just now."

She chuckled. "It's... okay. I... I just feel so nervous now that we're in... p-public place."

I chuckled before kissing her for three seconds. "Baby, my car is tinted. No one will see us here."

She smiled. "But I missed you too."

I cupped her face and tucked her hair behind her ears. "I'm dying to be your boyfriend."

She chuckled as she looked away. "Then be my boyfriend."

For a moment, it felt like I was deaf. I wanted to make sure if I heard her right so I looked at her, confused. She laughed.

"Ayaw mo? Bawiin ko na."

Aalis na dapat siya sa kandungan ko nang mabilis ko siyang hinalikan ulit.

Damn, she's mine.

She's mine already, fuck it. I can't believe it!

"Jin," she chuckled in between our kisses. "I need to go to my class."

I know that wanting her all day today is selfish and wrong but I don't want to let her go yet. I missed her so much, I couldn't miss a single moment with her when it's possible.

"You're my girlfriend now," I said, unable to believe that fact.

She laughed before planting a kiss on my nose. "Yes, baby. I am."

And that made my heart sank for too much happiness.

"Drive me back to SLU, I only have 15 minutes, please," she laughed. "Lukot na ang uniform ko, Jin."

I laughed. "Okay, I'm sorry. I love you."

She smiled before she went back to the shotgun seat. "I love you too."

Damn, she's really my girlfriend now.
