Natsu was running through the building looking all over. He was opening doors to all the rooms he found. He was following his nose. Suddenly his nose caught her smell. He opened the door and saw Lucy looking out of the window. "Lucy!" He yelled running over to her and hugging her. "Natsu?!" She asked. "I'm so glad your okay! Lets get out of here!" He said pulling on her wrist. "What about Jackal?" Natsu looked back at her. "What do you mean?" He asked. "What will happen to Jackal?" She asked. "Well, I'll beat him to a living pulp!" Natsu said seething with anger. "Don't!" She said pulling her hand away. "What are you doing Lucy?" "You can't hurt him. He hasn't done anything wrong to me!" She said very mad. "What about when he attacked us?!" "It wasn't his fault! He was told to!" Lucy said. "He's a demon!" "So am I!" Lucy screamed. "What?" Natsu asked. Lucy covered her mouth with her hands. "Your... a demon?..." he asked. Lucy began to run away. "Lucy wait!" Natsu called but she didn't turn back.

She ran down the corridors until she bumped into someone. "Jackal?" She said looking up. "Lucy... are you okay?" He asked. "I'm fine." "Your crying." He said wiping her tears. "What's wrong?" "There's something I need to tell you." Jackal looked at her in confused. "I'm a demon.." she whispered. "You are?" "Yeah. But I'm not one of Zeref's." She said into his chest. He hugged her close but they were pulled apart when they heard footsteps. "Lucy!" Natsu yelled running down the corridor. When he saw Jackal with Lucy he punched Jackal away. "Natsu! Stop it! He didnt do anything!" She screamed at him. "Well I need to talk to you. What do you mean your a demon?" He asked facing her. "Remember that letter I got?" Natsu nodded. "It said Your mother was born as a demon. She wasn't one like the demons Zeref created but she is still a demon. That's what I mean by 'I'm a demon'." Natsu stared at her but hugged her. "I don't care if you are a demon or not. You are Lucy and you are a Fairy Tail wizard. We could never hate you." He said. He let go of Lucy and saw Jackal stand up behind her. "You better get out of here." He said to Jackal. "Stop Natsu. He's done nothing wrong so leave him alone." Lucy demanded. "Why?" Natsu asked. Lucy walked in front of Jackal. "Because I've... fallen in love with him!" Lucy said. Natsu was shocked. "You are?" He asked. Lucy nodded. Suddenly  someone else came running down the corridor. "Lucy child." It was the master as well as Erza and Mira (the shipping queen). "Lucy, are you okay?" Asked Erza. Lucy nodded. "Jackal, do you wish to stay with Lucy?" The master asked. Jackal blushed but nodded. "Well then how about joining the guild? That way you can stay with Lucy." Natsu and Erza were shocked. "YAY! JALU JALU JALU JALU JALU!!!!!!" Mira cheered. "What do you say?" Asked the master holding his hand out. "Deal." Jackal said taking his hand. With that they all left.
